August 2025 music production challenge prompt: drums, but with a twist (Patreon)

This month's challenge is to produce a track or short loop that includes drums/percussion, BUT you are not allowed to use the following, whether live or sampled:

Snares

Claps

Hihats

Crash cymbals

Get creative with these restrictions! You can and are even encouraged to use other sounds (percussive or...even tonal!) in place of snares, claps, hihats, and crash cymbals, as long as they don't sound like snares, claps, hihats, and crash cymbals. :) Or, keep it simple. A lone kick drum never hurt anybody. coughEverythinginitsrightplacecough
