DECEMBER 2025 Musical Challenge Prompt: 3/4 (Patreon)

This month's challenge is to make something in 3/4 (time signature). The '3' means 3 beats in a bar. The '4' means quarter note. So 3 quarter notes. Each quarter note subdivides into 2 1/8th notes. The time signature has no influence over how many bars are in a musical phrase - for example, most songs have phrases that are 2, 4 or 8 bars long. 3/4 is most commonly referred to as a waltz, but you don't have to make a waltz. A waltz goes ONE two three, ONE two three, with the emphasis on the first beat of each bar. 3/4 is a bit difficult to beats to, but the results can be so interesting!
