Which version do you like better? I ADDED A 3RD OPTION, turned upside down!

I've been working hard to get everything ready and I'm on track to get all the TDS piano versions released in early March! 🤞 Thank you so much for your support - you'll get a link to download the album as a perk of your Patronage of course!

Thanks to Tyler Snell for this amazing cover art.

I vote for #1. I’m really excited to listen to this album Ixi.

Alec Collins

Two. It feels more like being drawn in to something...

Gary K

#1. It’s more balanced, size-wise and generally speaking; and specifically the single vertical dark amber brushstroke falls within the keys/teeth in #1 but is right on the outer edge of the keys/teeth in #2, which seems off to me. (And not in the good Trent-y “off” way!)

Rory WIlson

Love this! I prefer 1 but they’re both excellent. Looking forward to this

Two looks better on my phone. They’re both nice though!

Nailed

#1. Tyler is the goat

Muir Lyman

I like #2 better, but only after really studying them for a few minutes. I can't really explain why I prefer it; IDK, maybe #1 just looks too close to the viewer. Honestly, either would work great. Edit: I still like #2 best; #3 seems a little on the nose; might just be me...

Sam Patterson

1 for a reason I can’t put my finger on.

Missy

#1 - My initial reaction was to go with #3 because it looks more like a piano and the part of my brain that likes order leans toward it. But The Downward Spiral is compositionally uncomfortable (forgive my oversimplification) so I think #1 or #2 suits the feel of the music better. And between those two, I like #1 better.

Jerry Langwell

Oh man can't wait for this! I'm digging #2.

Toney Vecchio

#2 - I think the additional space makes it easier to see but still tickles the ‘that’s interesting’ part of my brain to examine it. #3 is too spot on, my reaction was a quick “Oh ok Piano, got it” and moved on. I found myself looking at the detail of #2, knowing it’s a piano but still looking at what other things I see in it. That’s good album art to me.

#2. the space around the keys is nice. and having it be a little more ambiguous is cool too.

Kai Ellis

#2 for the win! :)
