It's almost time for the monthly all-Patron livestream where I listen to a song you bring in and do an initial analysis/reaction. These are realllly fun and one of the few opportunities to hear my thoughts on your favorite songs! Please leave your song request below prior to the party if possible, especially if you won't be attending live. Thank you!

Looking for Cardiacs for a Youtube commenter and find a first reaction to Floex, today is a good day. Good opportunity to mention that right after we played the Floex ensemble track, they announced a new album called Directors, coming out in October.

Travis Hyde

#41 by the matthews band. I've been meaning to have this heard during our swine + sesh and it's the actual fan fav.

If you're feeling it, I'd still love to see ya rock out to Faith No More's "Edge of the World". As a backup, maybe 'A Perfect Circle - So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish (Official Video)' (I know you prob can't include the video in the live stream, but worth a watch on your own none-the-less in my opinion.) Looking forward to the live stream no matter what! Cheers!

Floex - Veronika’s Dream Don’t watch the video though, it lands much better without it. Make your own inferences, on the first listen at least.

Okay, one more backup idea, I think you said you hadn't listened to much Ministry. To help fix that, I'd recommend "Just One Fix" by Ministry (probably my all-time favorite song of theirs if I had to pick). Not very complex, but I still love it dearly. :)

Matt Munro

Guns N’ Roses - “Oh My God”. Their most industrial song ;)

Steve Bock

Devin Townsend could be a good subject: Jupiter from the Physicist album is basically a showtune played by a rock band, and that's a relatively conservative suggestion.

Muir Lyman

I'd love to watch your analysis of "Daylight Robbery" by impossibly creative Imogen Heap. Probably my favorite of her already impressive body of work. https://youtu.be/97D4lvcD-T4

Kai Ellis

"Woman in Chains". Maybe my favorite Tears for Fears song ever. I cry every time I hear it and I'd love your thoughts on what's happening in the composition that makes it such an emotional experience. https://youtu.be/QzkK3ZtI9SU

Kai Ellis

Yes!!! Devin is such a genius. Would love to hear ixi analyze anything by him, but this song in particular is a great suggestion.

Kai Ellis

That song is so good!!! Really that's the one that made me go HANG ON WHO IS THIS??
