UPDATED ON 11/25 @ 11:30pm CST - I had accidentally removed the tutorial for the chorus!

This Aphex Twin piece was supposedly written in MIDI and sent to a player piano called a Disklavier, but luckily it is not unplayable! In fact I think this is an excellent piece to play at any level of skill on the piano. This is a good piece to teach a newer pianist to coordinate two different rhythms between hands, and rhythmic expression.

If you're learning how to use the sustain pedal, this one will give you a break because you just press the pedal and don't let off until the song's over. Caveat - you kinda do need a sustain pedal for this one!

NOTE: I am not a trained piano teacher. Don't use my fingerings or technique/hand positions as gospel! My goal is just to make these songs more accessible to everyone!

Recorded using Spitfire Audio's Firewood Piano in Logic Pro X on Korg B2 digital piano. Video texture overlay by Tyler Snell.

Beautiful! You make sound even better than the original. Nicely moving.

I think he may have been inspired by Satie. Gnossienne specifically!
