Broken keyboard update ๐ฅ ๐น (Patreon)

Some of you may remember that my white Korg B2 suddenly went kaput this spring. I got a quote to repair it, which was at a minimum half the value of the keyboard. I've been wanting to upgrade to something that didn't have a proprietary sustain pedal connection but you have to pick your battle$. When it broke, I thought maybe it was time to just bite the bullet and upgrade. For the past two months, I've been borrowing a Korg FP-60X from a local student (thank you Bob!) but I knew I needed to figure out a longterm solution. I spent some time researching how to partner with brands, and realized very quickly there's not a single cell in my body that wants to partner with brands. The only kind of influencing I'm comfortable with is NINfluencing. So I just bought an open-box "blemished" Yamaha P125, which I had played in the store and really liked the action of the keys.
Verdict so far? 9/10! I'm not sure I like how tall the piano is, but for its price range, the onboard sounds are surprisingly good and the speaker volume is powerful. Most importantly, the keyboard action is exactly what I'm looking for. I have 45 days to hem and haw about everything, but let's see if I can make this work ergonomically! It was certainly fun to set up ;)
