Update from me:

First of all, happy holidays!! Hope you and yours are safe and well fed and doing great. My holiday has been a little different this year, as my dad is moving across the country. We've lived in the same city my whole life. I'm excited for him, and I'm going to miss him so much. Here's us in Europe in 2000, and last night attempting to find food on Christmas in Amurica. Spoiler alert, we didn't, but we did have an adventure!

I've taken some time off to lend a hand with the move and soak in all the quality time I can get, but will get back to publishing videos in January. Pyramid Song analysis is in the editing phase and the closest to being done, and I have another video in the queue about a certain chord in Stone Temple Pilots' songs, which Wolmar from my Patreon helped me out with!  

I've been graciously donated an audio interface to help me with my audio dropouts issue, shout out to Rob! I'm still getting it all set up, but so far it's reliable with my system. There may be a few kinks to work out at the livestream with audio balance, so thank you in advance for your patience! 

I adopted Milo at the very end of 2022 and Pax more recently so they mark a change in my life in 2023. I love them so much and I'm glad they (mostly) love each other too!! My audio gear and plants do NOT love them but ehhh ;) 

Next year, I plan to finish the OK Computer analysis series and will be working hard towards putting out an album in February 2025. It'll be my debut original music album and it's refreshing to be writing songs that are pushing me beyond my comfort zone with vocals, lyrics, new genres, new production techniques, and collaborations. I'll need to figure out how to release videos & livestreams and teach, while also dedicating large blocks of time to the album, as project/task/topic-switching really challenges my focus & productivity! (Any advice on time management is welcome.)

In late January I'm going to NAMM music gear conference for the first time, tagging along with Benn Jordan. I'll likely post pics and videos daily on my Instagram! I'm not really a gear person lol but I am really looking forward to meeting people. I know Sean Bevan's going to be there! Let me know if you're coming too!
