It's about time we did a locals meetup! We'll be meeting at Trudy's North Star in Austin for some food and casual convo this Tuesday night at 7pm for a couple hours. Come hang if you're in the area and don't have plans. I just got back from my first trip to Guanajuato, Mexico visiting my cousin. Hope to see y'all next week!

Did you get to see las momias? I had no idea mummification was practiced in North America until a guy I worked with told me about las momias de Guanajuato. (Also, that phrase is really fun to say.)

Yes! Very colorful, vibrant, mostly pedestrians and few cars. Some of the smallest "roads" between buildings I've ever seen! My favorite place was Ex. Hacienda San Gabriel de Barrera with its endless gardens. But I'm glad to be home.
