Pyramid Song is not too difficult to play on the piano note-wise (rhythm can be tricky!) and a very beautiful thing to be able to experience.

Both the left and right hand play two notes each at any given time (an interval). The left hand moves in parallel 5ths, and the right hand (almost) always has the same note on top (F#). Left and right hands play the same rhythm, always.

There are 3 sharps: F#, A#, and C#, but sometimes the A is an A natural.

To count it, you have options:

Think of the piano rhythm as a slow Bossa clave pattern and count it in 4. Watch my video coming out this week for demonstrations on how to feel it.

Or! Count 3 then 5, repeat. Forever.

Or! Think quick quick slow, quick quick. Repeat. Forever.

Or! Count  1 2 3    1 2    1 2 3 , repeat forever of course.
