I LOVE THIS SONG!

If you’ve ever wanted to see where raw emotion meets early ambition, this one hits hard.

Recorded in 2011 — nearly two years after their debut — “Addict With A Pen” at UG Studios captures Twenty One Pilots at their most vulnerable. Tyler’s voice, the weight of the lyrics, and the echo of that small studio come together for something deeply human.

This full reaction dives into the heart behind the performance, the contrast between the album version and this stripped-down session, and how much of Tyler’s storytelling was already fully formed.

Thank you for continuing to support this journey through Twenty One Pilots’ music.

Love this version and loved your reaction! You might want to check out Fall Away live with Dr. Blum. Tyler's rap is incredibly fast in that one.

Filmed that one today! It was special. Actually included a music video from the Misterwives (Dr Plum band) because I was curious of their sound. I will have it up on here tomorrow.

May be a little delay on that video due to copyright blocks. Hopefully it will get resolved and I can use it.

So emotional! TØP live is my favorite. One really cool thing about them is all the behind the scenes tour series and everything they do ( they did this even before being signed to a label) i remember one being about the band members leaving. Also I can't remember fully but I think it was the bandito tour where jon bellion opened up for them and he was in some of the backstage footage, as well

I will be digging up as much as possible! I'm sure you've seen, but we've been digging into Jon Bellion so I will definitely keep an eye out for that.

This song and especially this performance, makes me SOB my heart out. The absolute desperation. Goodness gracious I just love Tyler so much. I love how much he conveys his emotions and doesn’t hide from it.
