Yeah I have no idea if the video really means anything but it’s pretty fun. Looking forward to your journey on this album!

Love this music video. Thanks for posting 😊. I am excited for you to watch the SAI livestream experience and the Vessel stream too! Technically you could watch the Vessel stream after the SAI livestream since they did the Vessel one in 2023 for the 10 year anniversary (if you want to go in the order the clique did 😊).

The most common theory about the video is that it's the Bishops using the boys to re-tell the events of Tyer/Clancy's escape as propaganda: Tyler starts off in a colourful, fun place, a toy store (propaganda version of Dema) but he wants the dragon and steals it and escapes. Josh then catches him and drags him back to the toy store and minimises him, trapping him in the cabinet. So the parallels are definitely there. Tyler said this about Trash "I have this theory that, even if you're confined to one small room, if you were to focus on one singular detail of that room, that detail can then come to life. [...] If I can get to a place where I'm looking at [this little dragon figurine] and I'm creating something and, all of a sudden, he can grow and then, actually, fly around the room, and then...I'm transported to a completely different place. It really is the power of creativity, the power of imagination, and ultimately the power of music.". It's also worth noting that Trash has the word 'Destroy' written in his scales. I think he also continues to represent the things vultures do, since he is a 'trash dragon' and canbe used in that way. In the offical Story playlist, they have the Livestream version of Shy Away, but I think it's worth watching the official music video too, as Trash is in it.

We gotta finish SAI with the Live Experience!

Definitely the plan! Probably won’t be on the same day that the last SAI video drops because that’s Christmas Day, but soon after for sure.

Once you get into some of these live shows during this era, specifically the Take Over tour, they had 4 different stages, and did about 4 shows in each town, ranging from the arenas, to shows with a couple hundred people. There are some very fascinating videos out there of the crowd right there, no barricade, no security. I believe there is a video out there of Shap talking about the four different lighting packages he had to create do these shows

My son and I recreated the outfits of this music video for the Takeover Tour. When I posted a picture to Instagram, Josh liked my post and I squealed like the fan girl that I am! 😆

Don’t believe what’s on TV, MM! Don’t let ‘em tell ya that the Choker video isn’t lore! You noticed Ned and Trash the dragon, but there’s so much more! Look for the visual parallels with the Trench lore videos, especially the Jumpsuit video - the attempted escape, the chase, the getting caught, the being dragged back (in the nearly exact same pose), the getting locked back up in a box… Choker is a SAI-era DEMA brainwashing-distorted, mixed up retelling of the same story. It’s like the Heathens video. At least that’s my take :)
