Emily Meier

This is my all time favorite Sleep Token song.

A little context. This video is widely believed and now confirmed by the director of the video to have been filmed for Nazareth (which makes it make more sense. The gun and the tape) but they couldn’t get it past the censorship board I guess so they scrapped it but used the raw footage for the Jaws video when they went to film it.

So in context of this I usually just ignore the video or watch it on silent listening to Nazareth.

I think that background synth is supposed to be morse code for SOS?? ___...___ remember that melody! 😏

Justine Kasper

Came here to mention the video being for Nazareth, but knew someone probably would have already. 😊 Also, in a 2018 magazine interview right after Jaws came out, Vessel explained, ‘"Jaws are the tools we have to rend apart. To show our concealed aggression. To take something once hidden and protected, and burst it apart. You know no one until you have seen them destroy something.”- Metal Hammer, June 5th 2018
