Its a simple video but conveys that key part of the Lore about the nature of Torchbearer really well. On youtube you discussed "when our fingers touch I feel my way back home" - in this video when Tyler sings that its interesting that he brings his own fingers together in a prayer position. I wrote this on youtube but its so important I will write it here too for you. Tyler said during the Clancy Livestream that Torchbearer has the ability to guide and, "...so that's why there is a triangular existance of him. But I will say to clear it up, the Bandito Torchbearer is the real one". I almost fell off my sofa when he said that so clearly...we had theorised about who the Torchbearer is, but that was quite clearly pointing us to him representing the Trinity. The Bandito TB is the 'real' one, as in physical, a man, and the 'Voldsoy TB' is the unseen guiding form, so the Holy Spirit. It is widely said in the fanbase that Voldsoy TB is a 'mental projection' which is a good way to think of it from a secular point of view, but Tyler has never used the word 'projection' to describe TB. TB does certainly represent other things too though - our support network, hope, and so on. I love the Lore from Navigating onwards, there's not a lot of it, but for me the best is yet to come!

I dropped a bunch of pre-Breach Lore stuff under your reply to my comment on the group chat. I would also just remind you about The Line which came out between albums and isn't officially Lore but does fit where the story was at that point as well as the animation series they wrote it for.

Dude I’m a Christian myself, but I always pick on people about the phrase “invite Jesus into your heart” 😂 it’s one of those phrases that no one can really define but gets thrown around all the time anyway. Nice reaction as always

I never noticed him bringing his hands together when he said “ when our fingers touch”. Wow!

I’ve also been out to a church youth fall activity with a huge bonfire out on a farm. Very cool for background aesthetic, but yeah.. had to stay several feet away! I think Tyler during the livestream thanked the safety and local firefighters for taking care of the pyro. ( or maybe that was bts for HDS) . Either way, it’s a powerful visual!
