Ok, I'm going to try not to write too much 😆 This video actually continues in The Contract not City Walls, which is why the Story playlist order is important. Fun fact, the Clique had to solve a bunch of clues to unlock this video and get it released! As I said on youtube, because I'm sad you threw away your first interpretation of the song because of the video, none of their songs exist only in the world of the Lore, there are always at least two interpretations including real world ones, so if you were thinking he was making his way to God from the audio, you are correct. Torchbearer, who it is safe to assume from Tyler's comments, is an allegory for the Trinity, is on Trench while Clancy is on the other side of the Paladin Strait, so yes he is making his way towards God. I think the way the antlers are right at the start is very deliberate...they could have arranged those any number of ways but not only do they make the band logo I-/ but also a crown of thorns. I also wanted to say quickly that the 'nature sounds' are theorised to be a minutes silence for the Glorious Gone, in the lore and real world people who lost to themselves. Personally, as we know Tyler recorded it in the woods around his property in Columbus, I think it's also him standing silently in the Trees.

Yeah I would suggest not re-watching City Walls Music Video again until watching The Contract Music Video first…unless you already did as I know you’re ahead 😊

I’m not sure if anyone in the comments for any of the other music videos has pointed out..but some people noticed early on that all of the opening credit page of the music video say ‘from the album Clancy’ versus ‘from the full- length album’ like other albums MVs did. This shows that it was always speculated that this wasn’t the end of the story/ we were going to get another album. So when this music video basically confirmed that, there was a lot of excitement and anticipation for what we were getting next! I’m one of those annoying people who pick out small details of inconsistency instead of enjoying things for what they are.. but I find it interesting that all of the bishops collectively raise the glorious gone without any antlers . 🧐Not really sure why that is but still very cool/ creepy visual! This video truly is epic!

I’ve been waiting for this mv 🙌

Yeah it seems to be a power they have when they work together. They all look at each other like they are deciding to do it, and create the lightning type power from their hands that raises the dead. It seems to be different than seizing an 'available vessel'. It must mean something but I don't know exactly what...I suspect it's part of the 'hijacked religion' as Jesus raised the dead, and the 'dead come alive' to quote that song, but the Bishops have corrupted that for their own purposes here.

I know someone else said it in here comments but you should 100% watch the contract before you re watch city walls bc that sound at the end is the contract And absolutely, getting a cliff hanger for over a year was a pain then getting the contract and getting ANOTHER cliff hanger for like 3 months

Gosh feels like yesterday. I remember everyone freaking out and trying to figure out the puzzle from the digital remains to get the music video released...all for it to be a dema restricted trailer(that was epic and terrifying) then to have the official mv released after, it was a ride!!

Hubert Ulita

Yeah, The Contract next, than City Walls

Jennifer K

The Contact from Breach next! But yeah, Josh's face in this video is heartbreaking!!
