Correction! I see that "Why" is later in the album so we will wait for that video. Probably should have saved this video for later, but here we are 😂 Enjoy!

It's just me, and I'm a NF fan but not in the same way I'm a twenty one pilots fan so I have never dug suuuuper deep into these videos but I love symbolism and I'll tell you what I can. If the hardcore fans show up they can correct me! The black balloons are his burdens, and his shopping cart is like a mobile cage. So he is now search for hope, but he is still carrying those burdens with him, and gets inside his 'cage'. But, symbolically, he can just get in and out of the cage now, he's not locked inside it, he has the keys. And the burdens, although Nate seems to be dragging something heavy, are balloons so are very light, they would fly away if he just cut the strings. I think it's intentional that at the start the terrain is rocky and barren and there is NFs trademark heavy green filter. But at the end, the colour of the video is more natural and there is some grass growing. I agree with you about the black and white clothing, this is definitely a feature of both The Search and Hope albums visuals.

As Jules said, im definitely much more of a TOP fan but I was introduced to NF when I found out he’s a big fan of the boys & referenced them in a song. A lot of NF’s lore and symbolism mirrors TOP’s in Nate’s own way, but I enjoy it very much still, just not as much 🤭
