Band-Maid met "Mikey-san" at Pointfest on May 27, 2023. They were sitting at a table in the backstage canteen when Mike came in looking for the milk. Akane got up and showed him where the milk was, so hilariously, he asked them if they worked there (i.e. at the canteen, since they looked like maids). They laughed and said that no, they were a band playing at the festival. They got to talking, Mike watched their set from the sidelines, and the rest is history. You can see him watching them at around the 16:00 mark in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRdenVmAioQ You can watch him join them on stage to play Bestie live in Tokyo in this video (Band-Maid opened for Incubus): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzfiCrm2Qbs I'm pretty sure Miku's lines, "So let's face ups and downs together, Years from now I'll still be doing this with you" refers to how the members of Band-Maid feel about one another. There's also a making-of video about this video shoot on their fan club/Prime sites.

Saiki did the wardrobe and set arrangement for this MV. Fashion is a passion for Saiki, and it really shows in this video! Beautiful song!

I think this idea of a stage setup (a similar one with plants on a screen on the background) was also used for their online acoustic concert in march 2024...

Fun fact: Saiki ordered the clothes on-line, and MISA's trousers was too short. That's why she had to stand behind a bush.
