You missed two VEVO performances for Alone Again and Faith

HIVVIN

You should watch some other live performances like alone again and faith those are my favorite

When we reach Hurry Up Tomorrow you really also gotta react to all the interviews he has done for that era! I’m not sure if you ever heard him talk already haha

Carrie Huffman

Mania Productions

Its a bit early but will you do the idol soundtrack and watch the hurry up tomorrow movie?

Carrie Huffman

There’s a reason this album got a Halloween Horror Nights house at Universal Studios when it came out lol The first two videos reference a few different movies. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas big time, Casino, Blue Velvet, and Blade Runner. Lot of Joker references too. The lady jogging by all nonchalant by the closed gate of the crazy murder mansion in Too Late is always funny lol The handsome squidward Abel was commenting on what celebrities go through to stay relevant. He said he wanted to push the character's narrative to a satirical extreme to reflect how people obsess over superficial alterations to please others. He mentions what happened to MJ as well. Also did you catch the Grammy diss? When he looked at the trophy and then threw it off stage. They shunned him at the Grammys that year for After Hours. Then they did this big apology to him and he performed, and then they shunned him AGAIN for Hurry Up Tomorrow. Not even a nomination. It’s always f**k the Grammys. He is turning into the Dawn FM character! I’m so happy you caught that! 🖤 You definitely have to check out the other two VEVO videos. They’re incredible. You should also check out Kraftwerk. They’re a group. I would say the Trans-Europe Express or Computer World albums. They were foundational and highly influential. But I think it was just a band shirt lol We were absolutely fed by Abel through lockdown. He managed to give us so much content when none of us could do anything. He kept a lot of us sane. We’re lucky he’s so creative and gives a shit about his art 🖤 His SB show was one of the best, and most underrated, halftime shows ever. Like top 3 all time. People can argue with the wall. And the SB version of Earned It is goated. Abel actually spent $7M of his own money on making the show happen like he wanted. When I first watched it I teared up during HOB to Blinding Lights. He came so far 😭 And his smile at the end. Priceless. Thank you for all this!! Can’t wait for Dawn!! 🖤 XO

The crazy thing is all these live performances were around covid times so a lot of isolated performances rather than directly in front of large audiences. But it weirdly works in his favor as the album vibe is about him being alone and since he's performing to a camera rather than a crowd we got a lot of cool visuals

jackson arnold

one of my favorite parts of this era was him selling toad lollipops on his website 😂😂

victor menezes

Feliz demais aqui no Patreon, já assisti a todos vídeos relacionados a The Weeknd só hoje, eu falei que você iria assinar, não me arrependo, ansioso DEMAIS pelo próximo. Seu amigo do Brasil! 🇧🇷

jackson arnold

his halftime show had to be limited to the one section of the stadium due to covid restrictions, not allowing him to be on the field until the very end. still one of my favs

Erfan Naderi

Don't forget The IDOL soundtrack and Hurry up tomorrow movie. I'd recommend to watch the movie after the Album (HUT )and The IDOL soundtrack after Dawn FM.

JDTheGreat

Not sure if anyone told you but he had to fund the whole Superbowl out of his own pockets

Mason Parkin

So sad what’s happening to Ariana lately

curserevel

When you watch videos for Dawn FM it'd be cool to watch the Animated Hurry Up Tomorrow teasers as well
