I'm happy to present to you the Swimmable Worlds Mod, which makes Brindleton Bay, San Sequoia and Evergreen Harbor swimmable in 5 neighborhoods altogether!

Thank you, I do have plans for more but unfortunately not all worlds can be swimmable.

Thank you so so much for this! You have no idea how much I wanted to have more swimmable places! I understand some waters are too shallow, but is it possible to back float at least or just play in the water or use floaters and sunbathe?

Unfortunately the game ties these interactions to water depth so not likely, only wading is possible. But good news is, there are many more worlds coming soon which were made swimmable! 😊

A wonderful mod I've been waiting for since the release of Brindleton Bay! Thank you thank you thank you! One note, I noticed in the 'swimmable' areas, visitors/npcs/walkbys spawned with random hats on both cc and maxis.. I don't know if it could be caused by the changes of the world file..

OMG! It is insane that we couldnt swim in Brindelton Bay, a perfect coastal town! I wish we could swim in Granite Falls, there is really not much to do there and this would make summer vacations so much better. Please also make water around Windenburg island swimmable! Thats another spot I always go to and wish we could swim there. Thank you for amazing work!

Swimmable Granite Falls is also coming soon! While the island in Windenburg can't be swimmable due to its shallow water, the Island bluff can be with some small modifications so it's also coming soon along with several other worlds.

Please make sure that the new world files are added to the Delta folders.

doesn't say that in the instructions, so do the filles go in both the sims 4 folders and the delta sub folder?

Yes! Originally the game reads the files from the delta folders but to avoid any mistakes, it's best to replace in both the delta and EP folders.

Hi, I installed your mod (also the new one with the others world) but my sims can't swim... I don't know what's wrong... could you help me? I install all world under: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Data\Shared\Worlds\Areas as per your attached instructions... Thanks a lot!

It's very important to replace the files in the Delta folders too! Delta folders are the main files read by the game. I hope that will solve the issue, if not don't hesitate to reach out again

Hi NerdyDoll, thank you so much for making such a high requested mod, this is so exciting!! May I ask if we have to do the step of changing the Areas and Delta Folder each again after we repair the game? I usually replair after each patch, do I have to re-do these steps after that?

Yes, patches usually clear world files, so unfortunately after a game update you have to, especially if you repair the game.

Will the Sunblind version work for Twinkle Toes? I believe its one of softerhaze's lighting mod as well.

Yes, other lighting mods will conflict with it. Windenburg Island is not possible unfortunately but Island Bluff is, so that will come soon!

If you have EP04 installed, it must be there however it may be in a different place. If you open the EA App, you can find the needed folders. For better info, please check the installation doc.

Hi! I'm so excited to use this mod! I've tried to install it multiple times on my Mac but I'm unable to find the delta files to override - does anyone have any tips?

How do I download this? Are these files supposed to go in your mods folder, or in a completely different folder?

Hi =) I haven't checked if it's been fixed but just in case -- in Brindleton Bay (the beach place) there is a lot and next to it there is a fishing pond -- for some reason the water in the pond got deleted

I downloaded all of these...only tried using the Brindleton Bay ones so far...and it seems neither of these worked? I deleted (saved the original for back up) and put in your files and followed the directions but for some reason yet the water is not swimmable here.

Hi! If you open the App (EA App, Steam) you use to launch the game, there will be an option to open the game folders. There are pictures in the installation instructions.

No, mod is compatible and highly unlikely to break from a patch update (though it may need to be reinstalled with patches). Please check if you've added the world files to the Delta folders.

Hi! Do you need to follow the instructions each time you've done an update to your game?

If it resets the world files, yes. How to know if it did? The mod won't work :( but great news is, it's enough to replace the world files in the Delta folders, so once you installed the mod, updating it will take max 1 minute when needed.

Just tested it out and it works great! I can't thank you enough for this mod. I was dying to make a merman terrorizing Brindleton Bay and this had allowed me to make my little scenario come true. Thanks again!

hey I downloaded the files into the right folder but everytime when I click on the place where they can swim they act as if they can't move there and the bonus mod when i select a vehicle object, doesn't do nothing. No vehicles appear so I am a bit confused because I downloaded all the phases you have

Hi 🫶🏼 first of all thank you so much for creating this mod for us! I am really excited about and tried installing it in my game. I followed the instructions, made sure I also replaced the files in the delta folder etc and installed the mod but, like mentioned on the latest comment, I am unable to swim. I get the “float here” option, the option to select vehicles, but nothing happens and when click on float here the sim does the animation where she can’t move there. There is no swim here option. I am only able to place the vehicles in the water in worlds where swimming comes with the game like sunali etc. any tips? 🩷

Can't believe EA doesn't do the same in making these places swimmabe, but thank you for making this mod! I took me a couple of tries to get it to work, but that is because I didn't follow you directions (next time Jacquie, read the instructions, lol!) It works so wonderfully in my game and I can't wait to get the other phases of this mod. Thanks for all of the hard work you put into it!

As someone who lives and dies by Milk Thistle you have no idea how sad I am to be this torn. Do I swim or have good lighting? This is an unfair and evil decision to force me to make (this is teasing because this mod is awesome)

I love your mods! And I dont want to sound like I am complaining I am certainly not. I am truthfully grateful someone finally made this possible. as well as many others I am sure. I am in heaven with this mod <3 But I use Blowtorch, to empty my worlds because I play a ancient safe file. and sadly your files and the Blowtorch files lay on top of each other. So now I wonder if there is any way to combine this. I am sorry if I bother you with this too, its not my intention.

As a person who is obsessed with swimming, your mods are everything I've been waiting for in the sims <3 Just a small report - after the recent update, the phase I mode has stopped working for me, all other swimmable mods still do thankfully. Thank you again!

Hi, the mod is compatible with the update - in fact, it rarely needs an update. That being said when there's a game update or the game is repaired, the world files get ovewritten with the original so it may be possible you have to reinstall the mod. However if it still doesn't work after reinstalling let me know and I'll try to look more into it.

Hey, thanks for creating this mod. Just something that I started noticing after installing it. I did everything as you said, and I didn't encounter any problem, just that when I try playing in 2x or 3x speed, the game just stop responding, like i can't select anything. I don't know if it is interfiring with another mod that I dont know about, but just letting you know. Thanks again for this mod. Is very useful.

Hello! I did everything as in the guide but nothing changed in my game. I noticed the same thing happened when i tried to resize lots with sims4studio, even though i modified the world file nothing changed in game. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Do i need to start a new save for the change to update?

I managed to make the mod work for me again - instead of following the pdf and changing the world files in the DATA folder according to the pdf, I searched for the world folder in the DELTA folder and put the mod files there. And it works again :)

hey! looking over the instructions and I'm a bit confused. I assume the swimmable worlds, seasons master fix, and sunblind world files are in the option with all three? as in since I already have the sunblind mod, but never used the seasons master fix and would like to now, I don't have to download the mod separately? and when I download the all three version I don't have to worry about sunblind's world files?
