Another good chapter, so Nat took down Bellatrix and cost her an eye, wow. So at least Neville had Alice growing up. So much set up for next chapter, can't wait

Loved this chapter and the lore grows ever deeper. Sirius pleaded his case to Andy and she is on the movie to see if he is telling the truth which we as readers know that he is. At Hogwarts Harry and Lupin are trying to track Peter down whom the map revealed to be Scabbers but much like his form he is excellent at hiding. I also really enjoyed the bit on how Natasha was the one who got Bellatrix thrown into Azakaban and even took one of her eyes out. Definitely excited to see where this goes from here as it would seem a confrontation between Natasha and Andromeda is likely once she sees that Andromeda is checking court records that will prove to her that Sirius is indeed around her and it wouldn't surprise me if Natasha tried to force the information out of her forcibly if needbe. She is on the war path right now

The thing to remember is that Sirius Black is not a lawyer. Decent, competent lawyers are officers of the courts. They are unlikely to perform some crazy stunt so often seen in grade b (or lower) story attorneys for whom the law is not as important as doing whatever they damned well please and lets a lazy storyteller toss in whatever amuses. The result is that Andromeda is reviewing the facts. That will (assuming that no false court record was entered to cover Crouch's corrupt, self-serving rump) mean the next step is not to go rat-catching - which Harry, Ron and Remus are doing - but to go to court and demand the case be reopened, probably with a massive dose of magical media coverage. (The last is to make attempts to kill Sirius before he turns himself in for trial that much more difficult.) Doing otherwise means facing Natasha on her terms and that is, at minimum, a really, really bad idea. Don't think so? Could I get a quick review of her captured/killed Deatheaters list? Please, may we have some more? I'm very much enjoying this.

Addendum: I'm going on the assumption Andromeda is a lawyer. I'm really not at all certain. Ted is certainly a lawyer and in either case determining the facts before proceeding is common sense (and yes, I'm aware that common sense in the wizarding world of Harry Potter is much scarcer than it should be). Author clarification will be greatly appreciated. Especially since it should change little.
