Are you going to show the nobles' reactions to discovering that Aemon is married to a wildling?

Abyss

Thanks for the chapter!

TheWateringWizard

Loved the chapter! Oberyn really pisses me off, he’s a stupid cunt… Dany got her dragon that’s so cool ! Rhaenys after that and then Aegon? They both will have one right ? Wouldn’t want Aegon to be left out. But I have to point out that “thrift stores” and “hoodies” are extremely out of place. It’s a big anachronism, just have Dany wear a black cloak

FangRu

Great chapters. Now Daenerys will have excuse to marry Aemon to keep dragons in a family. I bet Rhaenys would be pissed unless she gets dragon too? Dragon has three heads after all...

vb

Interesting chapter. If rhaenys gets shirkyos then aemon will definitely have people from dorne trying to murder him. Marrying the two eligible female dragonriders creates a pretty scary power block behind him. Honestly if she does ride shirkyos and Dany rides cannibal I have a hard time believing house Targaryen wouldn’t break the betrothal with house tyrell so aegon also marries a dragon rider. Realistically that would make more sense for the house- the crown prince marrying a dragonrider compared to marrying upjumped stewards. Having the second son with three dragons behind him and the crown prince with none would just be stupidity to the highest degree for Rhaegar if he wants to secure Aegon’s succession. Not saying Jon would rebel, but that doesn’t matter if half the realm rises even without Jon’s approval.

Ripe

So Aemon have Aegarax and Dany now have Cannibal, leaving only Shyrakos to be claimed by... Aegon? Viserys is going to be majorly pissed. Not only is there a half-breed with a dragon, but now his little sister have one as well. And Hightowers are already plotting (together with Faith and Citadel, most likely) how to kill the dragons once again... hopefully, this generation will correct the error Aegon III made by leaving them alive.

Sam Kemp

Very nice chapter! My only issue with it is the start of Danny’s section. They don’t have hoodies or thrift stores. She would have just grabbed a hooded cloak from her wardrobe.

With the thought process of both Oberyn and Olenna this once again proves that Ned’s reasoning and concern for Jon’s safety were legitimate and justified (Like I said before I’m not saying that what he did was right I’m saying that it’s understandable in a way). Also I’m disappointed that he’s being sent to the wall I wish his punishment could have been Rhaegar taking some of his kids or Benjen away from him to live in Kings Landing, if Rhaegar had done that I’m sure the northerners wouldn’t have been as livid as they were. But since Ned is being sent to the wall Jon and house Targaryen have basically lost the north’s allegiance and favor especially Robb who now feels betrayed and probably loathes Jon now and Arya is undoubtedly heartbroken. I just think that it would have been better if Ned got to keep his Place in Winterfell as the lord of house Stark and warden of the north and just simply had some of his children taken from him, the northerners would probably wouldn’t have taken it as badly if that was the case, plus just because Jon has his Dragon, Eagle, and Direwolf doesn’t guarantee victory and doesn’t make him invincible (Tywin made that perfectly clear). I also couldn’t help but feel a little bad for Arianne as well, though luck could be on her side if she’s lucky. Another thing that has always frustrated me is that even though Jon is true born and not base born people still call him a bastard even after it’s been proven that he isn’t, this happens in almost every story I’ve read about him. Hopefully people will come to acknowledge the fact that he’s true born. (No disrespect intended Drinor, if taken I apologize) I’m aware that my opinion on this subject isn’t a popular one but I’m sticking with it, we just have to agree to disagree.

Javanus O'Donley

I'm not a hundred percent but wasn't there two other dragons Silverwing and Morning

Thank you for reading my Story. Let’s wait and see what will happen to Aegon.

Drinor
>>110742638

Thank you for reading my Story, Dany will want to marry Aemon, but The Faith won’t be happy about it.

Drinor
>>110745011

Rhaenys’s Dragon is Morning; Shrykos has yet to make his appearance. Thank you for reading my Story. Aegon is someone who likes to follow the rules and not start fights for no reason. In his mind breaking the betrothal between him and Margaery would give them nothing but trouble.

Drinor
>>110747823

Shrykos has yet to reveal himself, but he’s Powerful. Thank you for reading my Story. Morning and Silverwing will soon reveal themselves. Viserys won’t be happy.

Drinor
>>110748875

You’re right, I will probably change that part. Thank you for reading my Story

Drinor
>>110763968

Oberyn calls him that only because he likes to believe that Aemon is a bastard. It is more of Oberyn’s way of making himself feel that he is better than Aemon. Oberyn knows Aemon is no bastard, but Oberyn simply doesn’t want to acknowledge it. Thank you for reading my Story.

Drinor
>>110769842

Yes, Silverwing and Morning will reveal themselves very soon. Thank you for reading my Story.

FangRu
>>110742638

Yeah I can see that. But they really cannot do anything about it. It was Targaryen tradition even when they did not have dragons and now when they have them again its even more so important to keep it in a family.

FangRu
>>110747823

So Shrykos is the most powerful of dragons and he will be Aegons or Aemons child with Val?

Loyalist
>>110763968

Is the way of the world. You can’t protect your children forever even if you want. I hope Ned speak to his vassals and robb to make clear that he doesn’t want a war in his name, that he did something wrong. He was ready to die and it would have been justified. Is a pretty light punishment and an opportunity to regain some of the honor he lost.

Jack

Cant wait till the next chapter drops would love the story to get moving abit faster but theres no point in rushing something good

Thanks for the update

I get what you mean but breaking a betrothal at the height of the houses power ain’t a fight. Argon isn’t stupid. What can the tyrells do? Literally nothing, that’s what. If he’s smart, he consolidates power. What is a single kingdom compared to one of the oldest dragons alive if he marries dany? Or a dragon that will be eventually powerful in rhaenys. Nothing. That’s what. I get there needs to be some suspension of disbelief if Jon/aemon is gonna take four or five wives in Westeros but at least make aegon have a reason why he won’t marry them that makes sense. Dragons aren’t horses. They burn armies. A broken betrothal will be bitter for the tyrells, but once again, what trouble can they make? If aegon can’t see that dudes an idiot. I’m not a Jon hater or nothing but logically the crown prince of Westeros will want to be as powerful as possible when he ascends so trouble can’t be made. How will less trouble be made? By having more power. What Is more power? A dragon or an army? Once again, just looking for a reason why he won’t marry them that isn’t just straight up delusional. As aegon said, he’s only known Jon for two weeks. Will he really take the chance to let Jon consolidate all that power when he doesn’t even know or trust his motivations, even if he wants to?

Drinor
>>110745011

Just because someone has Dragons, they are not unstoppable. In Aegon’s mind, betrothing Margaery secures his family the House with the most amount of food. Making enemies with them simply will give them unnecessary trouble. Wars are expensive. They cost gold and everything. No house would simply allow themselves to be humiliated. Aegon breaking the betrothal does nothing but bring problems. Second, while they might have dragons, all it takes is a spoon of poison for Aegon or anyone else to die. Third, Aegon simply doesn’t see it as necessary to humiliate House Tyrell for no reason. Fourth, Aegon has more support than Aemon right now; Aemon has barely any allies in Westeros besides his family and his dragon.

Jessica Anderson

Great chapter. Personally I’m one of those people who always wants Jon/Aemon to be the king. So I wouldn’t be disappointed if Aegon never got a dragon. 😅

Mason Talbert
>>110763968

I get what your saying but I can’t see that happening do to how much anger and rage that Robb and the northerners are filled with, some people have to much hatred to let stuff go and knowing how stubborn the northerners are I can’t see them or Robb letting this go or bending the knee after this.

Longclaw16

Oberyn is an idiot, while it’s awesome that Dany is the second dragonrider. Viserys will be so pissed, while Rhaenys and Aegon will likely be determined to find Silverwing and Morning

vb
>>110745011

And the dragons are enough to be honest🤷‍♂️ opinions change but dragons don’t. Bros really gonna marry an upjumped steward for food instead of a dragonrider. Do you see how ludicrous it sounds?

Drinor
>>110745011

The Betrothal has already been announced and confirmed by the King. Second, who else can Aegon even marry? Dany and Rhaenys want to marry Aemon. Second, having a Dragon doesn’t guarantee anyone certain victory. If Aegon and everyone suddenly decide to do whatever they want and not care about everyone else thoughts, everyone will slowly become their enemy, and they will have another rebellion on their hand. House Tyrell would never let that humiliation slide as if it never happened. The likes of Olenna would pay all the gold they had just for payback. We all saw what happened to Joffrey, he was a King, yet he still died from Poison.

Loyalist
>>110763968

Then they will remember why dragons are kings and others are beneath them

vb
>>110745011

Alright I get it you think dragons are less powerful than poison and gold and that everyone always gets what they want in Westeros instead of what’s realistic. There’s NEVERR been a succession crisis in Westeros and the side with less dragons will win because once again, poison is more powerful. Sarcasm aside, when has everyone ever gotten what they wanted? Sure, Dany is attracted to Aemon but if she loves him after a week of tourney she ain’t love him. She’s infatuated. Aegon isn’t a rapist and I doubt she’d be unhappy with him after a while. You know there’s never in the history of Westeros been a rebellion against dragons except by dragons, besides the faith militant, right? Dragons literally take out any form of rebellion except by dragons, so the history says, so is it smart to gain more dragons for your faction or not? It doesn’t matter if aemon actually rebels or not, but why leave a knife pointed at your back and hoping aemon won’t stab him? That’s literally what your saying is okay for aegon to do by not strengthening his own position. And face it, even you don’t believe the tyrells are stronger than Dany and aemons dragons. Unless you think the tyrells will poison all of house Targaryen and take the iron throne, which is literally just stupid. Who exactly will they poison to further there standing? All the gold the tyrells have won’t buy enough faceless men for all of house Targaryen. It’s a moot point if aegon gets shirkyos, but that’s ONLY if he gets a large dragon.

E I

If a war broke out between Aegon and Aemon, who would each member of the family choose and why? What would they do and think? Love it tho! Keep it up.❤️

E I

I didn't get the part where Aegon starts listing his allies if there's a war going on and saying that Aemon has no one in the conversation between Elia and Oberyn. So Aegon is for or against him? pls

Mason Talbert
>>110763968

Maybe, but either way I just can’t see the northerners running away from any kind of fight no matter what. Plus dragons aren’t technically invincible either, while it may be true that they are powerful they aren’t exactly invincible and unstoppable. (The deaths of 2 out of 3 of Daenerys dragons are proof of that).

Drinor
>>110811213

Aegon is not against Aemon. He tried convincing Oberyn that Aemon was no real danger despite his dragon. Thank you for reading my story

TheChosenOne

Great 2 chapter update, I loved them both! When will we get to see some Dany & Aemon bonding? Also, when is the next update for A Dragon Kissed By Sun?

Kenadams

Can't wait for the next chapter.

Torhelm
>>110742638

Faith aren't happy about much to be fair. Is the Aemon x Daenerys pair confirmed? Hope it is.

Drinor
>>110823082

We will see Dany and Aemon bonding soon; also, A Dragon Kissed by Sun will be updated soon. Thank you for reading My Story

Drinor
>>110745011

Look, as I pointed out in previous chapters, Aegon tries to be a perfect prince and tries hard to follow the rules and not start unnecessary fights. Breaking the betrothal with Margaery would give them an enemy. Why risk it? Second, Aegon knows marrying Rhaenys with Aemon would fix the problem with Oberyn. It would tie their families together, and Rhaenys would never try to get her brother’s throne. Aegon can then arrange a betrothal between his firstborn with a future child of Aemon.

vb
>>110745011

Being a prefect prince doesn’t mean not breaking promises, but doing what’s best for the realm. What’s better for the realm? A single great house feeling disgruntled or a possible second dance. And all those plans for marrying children are like 10-20 years in the future which does nothing for a present threat. I get it. You have Aemon having four wives and me saying it makes more sense for Aegon to marry one of those wives goes against those entire story plans. Doesn’t mean what I’m saying doesn’t make sense, after all, Aemon having that many wives give more reason for rebellion (via faith militant) than a broken bethrothal ever will. You do you, but I hope you at least a give a good reason and don’t have delusional characters. Way your talking bout Aegon seems he’s similar to Viserys 1 which no one wants to see. From your responses You have Aegon saying ‘break rules bad’ but ‘possible rebellion good’

KristofferXxXxX

The second dragon and perhaps the most dangerous one of the Big Three has finally joined House Targaryen! The military strength of House Targaryen continues to rapidly grow :3

Drinor
>>111123709

Shrykos is the most dangerous of the three Dragons. Cannibal’s flame is the hottest one. Aegarax’s flame has the ability to freeze things. Shrykos’s special ability will be revealed eventually. Thank you for reading my Story.

Victory For The People

You had Oberyn lose to Arthur in the melee. Oberyn and Jon did meet prior though, I think it was after he sang or won the melee, can't recall.. But they did have a polite and friendly conversation. Here you have Aemon being a bit of a douche based on an event that didn't actually happen.
