I've taken some flak for being less than enthused about the big block of heavy shows we've been getting as Patreon exclusives like Breaking Bad, The Wire, etc... and I feel like Simone summed it up for me in the outro of episode 11 very well. Extremely well done shows and definitely must sees, but I don't feel great after watching them, and certainly enjoy a rewatch even less. I am excited to see them say that the Saul Goodman episodes are like a breath of fresh air in this series because it makes me optimistic about a Better Call Saul watch soon. BCS is all of the great writing and show making of BB, but in a much more palatable package. It's a much more enjoyable, much more rewatchable show, imo and I hope it's coming up soon.

I love the fact that Simone knows Star Trek very well. Instantly seeing the actor that plays Q and bringing it up. I work late nights and sometimes my mind wanders, more than once a week, to what I would do if I won $200 million and then it bounces over to what would be the first few things I would do if I had the power of Q. I would not bring people back to life because they would have to face death for a second time.

You guys repeatedly calling Gustavo Fring, one of the most intimidating, well-known TV villains of the last two decades, "Chicken Guy" is making me crack up. Thanks for doing these YouTube edits. I don't have time to do a full, synchronized re-watch so this is much appreciated.

My interpretation of why Walt freaks out and punches the thing after finding out the cancer is in remission is that he's so stressed keeping up all the lies but he kind of had this thought that at least it will eventually be over when he dies. Now that the cancer is potentially not going to kill him it dawns on him that he's not going to be given a way out of the deceit and is stuck with the consequences of leading the double life.

I still think breaking bad is the better of the 2 shows.... BCS is really good.... but its only like 80% of BB.

I'm so glad you make these compilation videos, I've seen all of Breaking Bad and I rather do a watch along with content that's new to me too, but I love seeing the reaction to the highlights. I hope these get enough views for you to make new ones. It's one of the things that makes this definitely worthwhile to be a Patreon.

I'm so glad I don't have this feeling about media. Being incapable of appreciating tremendous once-in-a-generation achievements of art because it isn't cheerful? I'd hate to miss out like that.

I became a member just to post this factoid about Season 2. (Don’t worry I’ll keep the membership lol). If you take the title of every episode that opens with the teddy bear it spells out what happens at the end of Season 2. Episode 1: Seven Thirty-Seven, Episode 4: Down, Episode 10: Over, Episode 13: ABQ

Simone, I know how you feel about this series. It’s such good TV but I feel worse after watching too much. It’s not the sort of series that I can binge.
