ExquisiteCapybara

seems like fate has decided i will not clean my appartment today... :)

Garin

Haha same. I have family coming over in 3 hours and when I saw the notifications I just stuffed everything in the cupboards and then a quick vacuum. It's a problem for future me :)

Orphan Crippler

Gulpers are in fallout 4, except they looked more like Troglodyte's and less like a walking penis

djKENTO

the squire and the bag is a reference to dumping all your crap on your companions so you aren’t over encumbered. Also Johnny Pemberton who plays the new Squire… HE IS FORTY TWO YEARS OLD! He’s been plainly young guys and teenagers for like 20 years. He was 30 in 21 Jump Street playing a 15-16 year old. The Gulper was first introduced in Fallout 4’s Far Harbor expansion. They are also in Fallout 76.

Elvenwitch

My new tombstone line will be "Ass jerky doesn't make itself."

Opti_Frog

Rhubarb pie should be eaten with custard, not ice cream.

Cincassette

I'm really loving the show! Also, I'm assuming we'll get Dune 2 on Sunday, I can't wait! 😅

E. D.

I think I need my brother‘s amazon prime password to watch this 😆

Ginger

We love you guys! Even if you forget The Last Of Us. :D

Richard Royston

No fast travel because it's on survival difficulty

ExquisiteCapybara

The watership is a ncie touch. It failing was the start of the first fallout game :). Your initial quest is to go outside and find a replacement.

Ginger

In case you're curious, Bethesda has released the official SPECIAL stats of the main characters (I'll put just the stats in a reply):

Ginger

Lucy: Strength: 4 Perception: 7 Endurance: 6 Charisma: 5 Intelligence: 6 Agility: 5 Luck: 7 The Ghoul: Strength: 5 Perception: 6 Endurance: 7 Charisma: 7 Intelligence: 4 Agility: 7 Luck: 4 Maximus: Strength: 7 Perception: 6 Endurance: 6 Charisma: 5 Intelligence: 4 Agility: 7 Luck: 5

The scent of film and TV is all over this RUM. Smells like freaking tee ah WANNA

🖤I'm tired of the charade. I have to be honest. I cheated on you two. I watched the first two episodes with you and was like "I'll totally save the episodes to watch them alongside you as they come out." But I'm weak. Like IMMEDIATELY after seeing your episode 1&2 reactions, I watched the next two, another two later that night, and the rest the next day. I just can't sit here pretending like I'm seeing all this awesome for the first time like "Wow, I TOTALLY didn't expect that to happen" when I know it did LOL. Im just hemorrhaging bad karma over here but I'll totally rewatch the episodes as you release them. We'll consider it "a second playthrough" XD

Odd Thomas

Steph looks EXACTLY like my F4 avatar (minus the eyepatch)

Philipp Roensch

Now "ass jerky" has to compete with "one wet nanny", amazing show.^^ I really like that they just embraced the dark comedy nature of it, and the brutality and satire is still biting. Now the ghouls seem to have been changed a little bit, but as I looked it up, the deterioration into feral ghoul has also been established, it was through isolation or more radiation though, not something intrinsic to all ghouls. This is set after all the other stories, though, so I'm fine with what ever new development to have more unique ghouls. The going feral like a drug addict or Alzheimer patient is quite profound even.

Stephanie Bedworth

If I'm remembering correctly, there is a ghoul kid in Fallout 4.

Simon Peened Me

The family name has a different spelling, but John McClane's daughter is named Lucy.

MacGuffinStuff

Oh that's funny, I just, out of the blue, felt like watching Back To The Future today, and I figured, why not watch it with the Cinebinge reaction too? And right when Marty gets to the center of town in 1955, George mentions how much he wants to play Fallout again haha

Gary Fixler

The bags look like a giant golf bag. I keep thinking of the squire as a caddy.

REDR58

“Radiation King” in the show and the Fallout games is a reference to the TV that appears in “The Simpsons”: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2ScUjHWUL34 https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Radiation_King “The appearance of the set refers to Homer Simpson's childhood television set as seen in episode 10 of season 06, "Grampa vs. Sexual Inadequacy". The joke references how some first generation vacuum tube TV sets (particularly a line of early color TVs produced by General Electric) were later found to be poorly shielded and emitting levels of X-ray radiation far in excess of modern safety standards. This is shown in the episode by how Homer's childhood shadow has been permanently burned into the floor and wall of his childhood home, and is still there 30 years later.”

Patrick

I'm glad I'm subbed to this channel, because I had no idea this show even came out! It's way better than I was expecting, and REALLY funny as well. I was rolling when in episode 2, the farmer said, "well alright....it's just that he was fuckin' my chickens."

Harry Fieldson

Just wanna say that you guys have been on fire recently - highlight of the day tuning in

mky

Concerning "The Last of Us", we all forget stuff and while I, personally, was yelling at my screen during that discussion, it was in a *fun* way. No need to beat yourself up about it, George. (Unless you like it that way...umm...yeah.) Both of you are brilliant and that's why we're all here. That and the fact that thy mothers mated with scorpions. Cheers!

Drew Acheson

George, apparently the official Fallout Facebook page posted stats for the main characters.

RLYtoxic

I'm glad they updating Fallout 4 soon. I wanna start a new playthrough.

4NonsenseD

Maybe someone else mentioned this earlier, and I just didn't see it, but we actually knew about Vault 31 from the first episode (Lucy's dad says that's the vault he left when he married Lucy's mom).

Logan Kerlee

Hell yeah, happy that you both are watching this. :) These two episodes were pretty cool. :) Looking forward to more! I already wrapped up the season and I'm eager for the second season.. next year! xD

Starman Deluxe

The TV at the end was called "Radiation King" that's a Simpsons reference, that's what Grandpa called the TV in their old farmhouse

Dirt_Merchant

Thanks for mentioning The Ink Spots... I'm a huge fan and their music is how I found Fallout!
