Orphan Crippler

"A Million Ways To Die In The West" to finish off the Seth Macfarlane movie run? It's pretty much the same humor as Ted except, you know... It's in the old west ;)

JediLounger

According to the time provided it is the theatrical cut.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Definitely know “give us the ring, my precious eyes” will get a big laugh haha. Also second Mr Crippler (uh yup) for A Million Ways To Die In The West: a little long but has a lot of fun moments for sure. Same with the Ted TV series which is better than expected :)

djKENTO

Soooo... let's try The Orville?

Maiki

That was a lot of fun! But damn, George, you don't even know who Paddington Bear is??? Now you have to watch Paddington 1&2 even more! (Part 3 will be released January 2025)

Robert da Spruce

Very funny movie! I might actually prefer to the first movie Looking forward to watching your reaction!

Philipp Roensch

Oh it is George and the cackling cat lady from the woods! /jkjk :D Yes it is more cut-away gags with no connection to the story, but they do land really well :D. Liam Nielson's 'Taken' act is clearly the best. Teds Raincoat is a Paddington reference, british child toy and storybook, the movies are really good. I only find it a bit unfocused for a while, with the tone shifts and rehash of the first movies finale. I guess they remembered late they needed more emotion than gags.

JediLounger

So The Tick (1994) was an animated show first. You guys would love it, it was way ahead of its time.

Logan Kerlee

Really enjoyed this watchalong! :) Good vibes.

Martin Nicholls

Nobody watched The Tick, I wouldn't worry about it. Worf though, Simone, not like this :p I was laughing all the way through she didn't spot it :p

Adam Barry

Michael Dorn attending Comic Con as Worf is hilarious, and I can't believe Simone didn't realise it!

Ian Forbes

There was an additional scene at the pot farm but it’s in the unrated edition.

RipTheRipper

Requests: - One Hour Photo (2002) - Moon (2009) - Inherent Vice (2014) - The Lost City of Z (2016) - A Simple Favor (2018) - The Teacher's Lounge (2023)

NareikAC

I liked this so much better than the first one

Odd Thomas

A Million Ways to Die in the West

Odd Thomas

Please watch Sunshine (2007) if only so I stop requesting it so often, lol

Tenn Seven

I was thinking of that same Star Trek episode Simone mentioned, and I would be pretty surprised if it wasn't an inspiration in the plot of this movie, Seth MacFarlane being such a huge Star Trek fan and all, especially that scene where they have Ted press his chest. Also, you guys should totally check out The Orville. Also, eff Scott Fitzgerald!

Our Patrons thought we were a myth. Well... They were MYTH taken.

🖤The thing Liam Neeson was on with Ricky Gervais that you're thinking of, George, wasn't Extras. I don't think Liam Neeson ever did an episode of that, at least I don't recall it's been a while since I saw it. You might be thinking of "Life's Too Short" where he goes into Ricky Gervais's office wanting to do improvisational comedy LOL. If that's not what you're thinking of, and you haven't seen it, type "LIAM NEESON Improvisational Comedy" into youtube XD

Wulfric

I wonder if they will ever get around to doing sequels to Men in Black, Home Alone, Equalizer, The Matrix. They start new movies series and do sequels to them before getting to the ones they have started years ago.

Jeff Demarest

Speaking of sequels, you guys REALLY need to get to the Karate Kid sequels so you can do the Cobra Kai TV show.

djKENTO

Arizona state has been America’s go to party college for like 30 years. They all go to Lake Havasu and party on a flotilla of house boats. That’s where Girls Gone Wild got its start.

Alex Ch

I just love that Jake Gyllenhall has the same taste in 80s movies I do. First he remade Road House. Now he’s redoing the best courtroom thriller of the decade, Presumed Innocent, as an Apple TV limited series. The original movie starring Harrison Ford is just incendiary.

Kevin

Fun watch! Please consider these movies: Old school I love you man Pineapple Express Minority report This is 40 Prisoners Kingpin I now pronounce you chick and Larry Sausage party Horrible bosses Wreck it Ralph Gangs of New York American beauty The revenant Shutter island 12 years a slave Wedding singer Hall pass Crash Blades of glory Hot tub Time Machine The internship Big daddy Saving Silverman Hitch The breakup Casino Grandmas boy Heavyweights Role models Knocked up Batman forever Sherlock Holmes Nightcrawler Emperors new groove The town A million ways to die in the west Forgetting Sarah marshall Wall E Shallow Hal Enemy of the state 7 pounds Blow Neighbors Life (2017)

Joe Mallard

Now you can watch the hilarious TV show on Peacock!

TheSentry77

You guys should absolutely watch the Ted TV series that came out recently! Also please check out Seth's other movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West, should be right up your alley. Oh, and SImone, since you're a Trekkie, I strongly recommend you watch The Orville. At first I thought it'd be a crass version of Trek, but as it turns out, it is really MacFarlane's love letter to the franchise, with a good cast of characters, great storylines and intrigues, and just a touch of his humour in there. Really a great, enjoyable watch!

Cinebinge

Was it life's too short?? Oh! That makes sense since Warrick Davis was there now that I think about it. Yeah! That! Lol

Patrick

That LOTR joke comparing Amanda to Gollum had me choking on my drink. omfg that was perfect haha

Robert da Spruce

I was totally waiting for Simone to say something about Worf dressing up as Worf. But you never did 😢 For shame Simone! For shame! 😉

Patrick

Arizona State is a notorious party school with an insanely high acceptance rate. They actually have some decent programs and a beautiful campus/city, and the girls there are HOTTTT and from all over the country. I almost went there for their journalism school before I changed my mind. I'm glad I did, because even back in 2007 it was like 30k a year for out of state students. For fans of comedy, the comedian Andrew Santino is an ASU alum

Orphan Crippler

Lol I just saw one of your comments on there "28 days later" reaction from over 2 years ago requesting "sunshine" that's dedication xD

Justin Hunt

Supernatural horror movie request for the upcoming horror season: The Empty Man. This movie got lost during the pandemic but is one of the best Lovecraftian style that I've seen and there aren't many reactors that have seen it.

samuel Jakob

Damn I am sure I have seen this before, but I couldnt remember a single thing, especially the court room drama bit. It was so over the top and fun, and was a lot darker at some points than I expected. Loved the movie and reaction. On another topic, because you recently had the "short show" poll, I hope you will get around to queens gambit soon, its one of my favorite shows ever and I hope it wont take years for you to see it just because it didnt win. The show is amazing and not at all what I expected when first watching it, and I dont think I have ever said this, but not watching that show is missing out on an amazing cinematic accomplish ment.

gobmob2000

You two should watch the Ted TV show next

Kevin C

You both would love the tv show! It only had a 7 ep run for it's first season, but it was hilarious and has a great cast. Season 2 has been green lit, so the future looks bright.

Josip Buretić

I have watched the first movie and it was OK but I never clicked more with the movie so I was never interested in watching the second one. Now that I have watched it was OK I did laugh at some jokes but also some jokes were little bit hmmm childish for my taste. Overall it was good movie Giovanni Ribisi was creepy here but I liked him in a show "Sneaky Pete"

Starman Deluxe

Just a suggestion, but on Nov 30th, it might be fun to do one of the more underrated thrillers "Joyride". It stars Paul Walker who passed away on that day in 2013.

Jonas Buckner

Now you can watch both live-action versions of The Tick.
