I saw this in movie theater but don't remember much. I remember the beginning and the Michael Jackson cameo. Now its a good time to rewatch.

FWPJR.

I’m definitely watching this reaction tonight, can’t wait for this and hopefully you do MIB 3 so you can finish the trilogy. I actually like this one, but I think 3 is a little bit better ( imo ) I just love all three movies of the trilogy. And I’m not even into sci fi movies or anything involving aliens. But I’ve always loved all three MIB movies.

Serleena’s ship is based on a citrus juicer called THE JUICY SALIF by Philippe Starck. There’s one in the museum of modern art in NYC.

Lol "a hour to the next store" WTF?. I´m from Germany, if i drive for a hour in the wrong direction i´ve already left the country.

Tyler Foster

Personally, I think Men in Black 3 is the best of the series, so I can't wait until you check that out.

REDR58

An hour’s drive to the grocery store? No thank you. If I have to drive more than 20 minutes to…anywhere on a daily basis that is entirely too far. Lara Flynn Boyle who plays the alien Sarleena is probably best known for her work on the TV series “Twin Peaks.” Whatever the reasons for her absence, I think Linda Fiorentino would have made this movie a lot better.

An hour to the grocery store is mad, as Karl Pilkington would say move closer to the shop or open your own shop 😀

Diiirk706

Get yer groceries delivered............... I do, and I have a grocery store within ten mins of walking............

REDR58

Grocery delivery is the best! The yearly membership fee is definitely worth with the savings in gas and wear and tear on my car and my time.

now wait until you hear what kind of public transportation you're dealing with over there it sounds like a meme, but the NA urban "sprawl" is absolutely bonkers. Very lackluster accommodations for cyclists, no buses and most certainly no trains... and that's why most folks think cars are a daily necessity, more so than a luxury. Truly nutty.

Simone you opening was from brooklyn 99, I just watched that episode. Yay 10 points.

The weakest entry but still fun. I think its problems stem from massive reshoots due to 9/11 (the ending was originally set on the twin towers). 3 is a slight return to form but they never bettered the first film imo. Don't even bother with spinoff MIB: International.

Odd Thomas

Barry Sonnenfeld also made the 90s Addams Family movies, which are great, particularly the sequel Addams Family Values, so please watch those!

🖤I know some people were sort of "meh" on seeing this one in the "coming this week" post as it's by far the weakest, but even the worst movies in an otherwise good franchise, like this or Xmen 3, are still fun watching along with reactors. You were watching it for the first time, enjoying it for what it was, not being too critical of it. It was a lot of fun. It's not the best MIB movie but there are some laughs. Some solid LOLs. Plus, the third one is my favorite of the franchise, and the best of the three IMO so this one had to be watched anyway if you planned to watch that one.

🖤Some random MIB fact I randomly remembered. There was that thing like 10 years ago, or so, where a bunch of people who work for Sony had their emails hacked and tons of details for future projects and potential projects got leaked. Apparently, they were kicking around the idea for a third 21 Jump Street movie. A part 3 wasn't needed, and they were aware of this via 22's credit scene gag, but I would have been so down for THIS part 3 if it gained traction. There were emails talking about the premise for how part 3 (and MIB 4 I guess) would have been a crossover between the two. So they go undercover in High School for part 1, College for part 2, and part 3 Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum's characters would have been recruited by MiB and would have had to been trained by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. It obviously never happened, probably never will, and MiB made the Chris Hemsworth reboot as instead. Sigh...

Dustin Duvall

What??? My life was better a minute ago when I was still ignorant of the crossover potential. That would've been amazing or terrible in an amazing way. Either way I'm there opening night

Netflix in Sweden has this for streaming :)

RIP to Donald Sutherland. Great Canadian actor. MASH 1970 Dirty Dozen 1967 Invasion of Body Snatchers 1978 Many other deep cuts to watch.

Monica Alarcon

I don't like this one but 3 is really good... the less we talk about 4 the better...

Nice reaction! You both seemed to enjoy the movie. The older man with white hair who was presenting the "Mysteries in History" show on the video tape is played by Peter Graves who played the airliner captain in the "Airplane!" spoof you guys saw a few years back. He is probably most famous for playing the main character Jim Phelps in the original "Mission Impossible" series on TV (1967 to 1973 and then again in a revival from 1988 to 1990). In the first "Mission Impossible" movie with Tom Cruise, Phelps, played by Jon Voight and in the movie Phelps turns out to be the bad guy where in the TV series he was always the good guy. He also hosted "Biography" documentary series on A&E for a number of years and the "Mysteries in History" is sort of spoof of that.

Chase Schleich

RIP Rip. I forgot he died until I saw his name in the opening credits.

Big.Bad.Mr.Mustard

"speadsheets & crime" ........? Please tell me you guys have already watched Lego Batman & it's in the que.

PaulChristopher

Watch I Love You to Death for a dumb Keanu Reeves

Jacob King

A fun little movie. I hadn’t seen it since release. It’s definitely undercooked in the story department (and too much Frank) but the actors have enough charisma to balance it out. Weird thing I did notice was, it is incredibly similar to Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. I still think you should react to the GdT Hellboy movies as they are very good but there were a number of places where locations and plot points and ideas seemed to parallel MIIB.

Logan Kerlee

Enjoyed the movie and I'm glad that you both did as well. :)

Mastervodo

I'm surprised you guys don't recognize Patrick Warburton from other things! He does a LOT of voice acting. He is Joe Swanson (guy in wheelchair) from Family Guy. He did live action TV Tick character (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/05/Tick_poster.jpg) and of course, he is probably most famous for KRONK in one of the best animated things ever, The Emperor's New Groove. If you guys haven't seen that - that needs to be on a poll pronto!

Sckmnky

Is that Michael B Jordan? Laughed for 7 minutes.

Welcome to Cinebinge, the reaction channel where everything is made up and the points don't matter. That's right the points mean nothing, they are bragging points. "Our top story today... According to a recent study 9 out of 10 people who are afraid of hurdles never get over it"
