Re: apple pie... A Mexican place when I was a kid had flour tortillas, fried flat and tossed cinnamon and sugar, topped with stewed apples, cheddar cheese, and cayenne pepper. SO GOOD. I still make them at home from time to time.

I enjoy the twist about J's Dad but it is a little forced... His Dad was a Captain defending the Moon Launch, but he also brought his son along?? I enjoy the idea but not the execution. Maybe that character should have been introduced earlier

The foot soldiers are the ones in charge, that's why they arrested and report to J's dad. J's dad took his child to a protected area to see the launch but got called in, which is why he had his child and he only left J for a brief moment.

There were plans on making another MIB movie (you can avoid MIB:International) with Will Smith but it was going to be a crossover with 21 Jump Street where Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill join the MIB. I believe it never made it past the script phase but it is something that is still talked about and Smith/Tatum/Hill have all said they are interested, so maybe one day.

Mike Colter is the name of J's dad. If Simone really likes him, you guys should react to Jessica Jones and Luk Cage sometime. He stars in there as Marvel hero Luke Cage.

Fun Fact: Rip Torn was still alive when this came out. He was killed off in the film (and the show 30 Rock) because the actor got arrested for attempted armed robbery of a bank. It turns out he was drunk and mistook the bank for his home, so he broke in while carrying an unregistered firearm.

My favorite of the three and amazing that the third one is so damn good. I believe Tommy Lee was not really willing to do a third so they offered him the compromise of a limited role and hence the whole reason for the time travel plot and an alternate K. I remember in the theater actually feeling really queezy during that shot when J is high up on the skyscraper and the camera pans down as the effect was so well done and so convincing. The shot of the male and female watching the launch from home was the actual director. And to second another comment: To see "Boris" in another great movie is What We Do In The Shadows.

When the guy in the shop says "that means you were there!" He was referring to him as a kid in the original timeline. I personally don't like this movie very much because I do view the reveal as a retcon and the dodging Boris spikes using the time travel mechanic changed the rules, normally it would have been two Jays in the same space, not Jay knowing the future. It's fine, I just like the first two more.

I thought this was so clever and was really impressed when I saw it. I haven't rewatched it since, but absolutely enjoyed seeing it again here with you guys. I thought Jemaine Clement was genuinely scary (it's such a change from his Flight of the Conchords character), and it was such a treat to see Emma Thompson here (who looked fabulous, speaking on the shallow side). I absolutely thought Josh Brolin knocked it out of the park as young K, and he brought a lot of humor and humanity to the role. For me the script was fabulous -- it wasn't a cheat retcon, but one that simply added richness to the first movie and our understanding of the universe. I loved it. And thank God for a smart script. I totally didn't remember that sweet funny Griffin was Michael Stuhlbarg, who has become one of my all-time favorite actors, thanks to his work in Call Me By Your Name, Shape of Water, Arrival, Steve Jobs, The Looming Tower, and so many more. Loved seeing a very young Mike Colter here too as the Colonel. I definitely agree with George that Simone needs to watch Jessica Jones!
