3 is the best; I would stop there tbh. Smiley Face is my favourite Anna Faris movie, it's so underrated.

Maiki

YAHTZEE! So stupid, but gets me every single time.

E. D.

Can‘t find the fuckin full movie, I hate when that happens. edit: found it

djKENTO

Looks like we need an 8 Mile reaction. it’s from the director of LA Confidential. It’s actually pretty great.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

The most amazing thing about this film is that Charlie Sheen’s character could come up with a $1.50 in 60 days in this economy haha. Anyway, this is a fun movie and “8 Mile” is a seconded recommendation for sure. The movie is excellently acted and director Curtis Hanson is truly missed RIP

djKENTO

This is the unrated cut. NOT the version on HBO/MAX

djKENTO

and yes that was a joke about Pam and Tommy’s tape.

Odd Thomas

The second blonde with Pamela Anderson is Jenny McCarthy, cousin of Melissa. She was basically the Pam Anderson of the 2000s and was likely cast here for being in Scream 3. Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards were married at the time, I think. The creepy daughter scene is referencing a horror movie Nicole Kidman made (I won't spoil which) The George Carlin scene was referencing the Matrix sequels.

E. D.

I suggest Romeo Must Die, I had very fun watching it when it came out. Cool fight scenes and a nice story. Anthony Anderson is in it for the laughs and he‘s good at it.

Brazilian_Rebel

Guys should react to Anna Farris House Bunny !

Jasbro

The scene with the daughter sitting on the floor in the white dress was a reference to The Others with Nicole Kidman, highly recommend that movie.

G B

This is by far the weakest of the 3. The loss of the Wayans brothers involvement in the franchise lead to a clear downgrade in quality.

Monica Alarcon

Great way to start a sunday... oh and be advised, you need to watch The Grudge if you're going to watch Scary Movie 4

Amelie W

I think Simon Cowell regrets the movie just because they killed his character. The story goes they finished an extra scene where he gets up unscathed and criticizes the shooters without any plans to put it in the movie but just to get him to show up. Speaking of stories, apparently Mahalik's pump-action shovel was stolen from the set after just one take and never seen again. Too funny for this world.

BigGuy209

Well i was going to watch this because it’s on HBO but seeing it’s the unrated version. i just don’t feel like renting this. I’m really not a fan when they do the unrated version. it normally doesn’t add anything to the movie.

samuel Jakob

Oh ye if u havent seen 8 mile pls add it to ur list. I dont think I have seen this for over 10 years, I think I actually like it the most, they just went wild with the comedy and I did love it, not to much gross stuff just really sill random jokes, just a lot of fun!

Morion Williams

you guys need to watch the rest of the matrix movies.

Joey Contreras

The fourth movie isn't as good, but I still enjoy it more than the second one. If you proceed to finish all four, I recommend Superhero Movie (it has the same style as 3 and 4, but with Spider-Man and other superheros from before 2008). Leslie Nielsen, Kevin Hart and Regina Hall are back, with the addition of Christopher McDonald.

Hi I'm George Junior, but my friends call me Geo-Ju

🖤Another great spoof movie, that's easily in my top 3 is "Not Another Teen Movie" Are there some movies you COULD watch before? Sure. Mainly Varsity Blues, American Beauty, and Cruel Intentions (The first two I just recommend bc they're good movies) but you two have seen enough of the movies it spoofs and also just know a lot of the cliches the movie leans on to get most of the jokes. You two didn't watch Robin Hood Prince of Thieves before Men In Tights and it still hit. Not as hard had you watched it (It's pretty much what Scream was for Scary Movie) but it still got a lot of laughs. So yeah, I highly recommend it. Chris Evans may be Captain America but "Not Another Teen Movie" is STILL the movie I know him from LOL.

FranciscoGios

I don’t remember watching the Scary Movies 4 & 5 maybe if you guys are planning to watch them I’ll probably remember. Enjoy the weekend. George has a better memory than I, but I think the Pamela & Lee sex tape one of The Simpsons episode showed the same script.

Philipp Roensch

What a fun script, just endless jokes, inuendos and some reall good practical gags. And I believe the director really improved capturing the look of the hommages as well. I mostly know the lines from my German synchro, great delivery, became running gags in my friend circle. Definitly see 8 Mile, and hey, maybe more Matrix at some point?

CT

Some better comedies for you guys to check out: Ed Wood (1994) Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) Rushmore (1998) Frank (2014) To Die For (1995) Adaptation. (2002) Being John Malkovich (1999) Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999)

Martin Roca

A beaufitul mind is a great great movie, based on a true story.

Shane Darcy

I don’t get the sense you guys enjoyed this very much 😂 don’t blame ya

REDR58

I mostly stick it with it because of Ana Farris. She only appears in one more, Scary Movie 4 and then that’s it. Perhaps it’s time to stop. Diminishing returns and all that.

REDR58

Leslie Nielsen: “Forbidden Planet” (1956). Classic sci-fi. Check it out.

Chase Schleich

This is people's favorite of the Scary Movies? Did you poll a group of stoned teenagers or something? This is widely considered as the start of the downfall of the entire parody genre.

Ginge Tomassi

If you guys liked Simon Rex you should check out Red Rocket from 2021. It was somewhat of a comeback role for him and the film was critically acclaimed.

djKENTO

3.5 is less of an extended version and more of an alternate version. It’s totally different takes in a lot of the more adult scenes.

Max Krause

If you watch The Grudge, you're good to go for the fourth one. I really like it, but stop after that.

DCray

Definitely watch 8 Mile and A Beautiful Mind!

Peter Moe

Right? 8 Mile would be Dope af!

Alex Ch

I don’t think there are many fans of the Scary Movies after this one. I’m not one personally.

Amelie W

Well, the first two movies rely a whole lot on weed, poop, gay men, swearing and sex being hilarious things in themselves, as well as making fun of ugly people, fat people, disabled people and women not wanting sex. Just very weak material overall with a handful of good jokes per movie. Then you've got this one with one of the inventors of the spoof genre at the peak of his craft directing, and suddenly there's jokes building on absurdism and exaggerated props and creative use of timing instead of a horny parrot crapping on the walls. It's just doing more creative things and with better direction and very few weak moments. Then the fourth one tries to do the same thing again and the fifth one forgets the most basic rules of comedy like not laughing at your own jokes, so what's left?
