Ok, since we are in the unfortunately brief foray into movies for Jenna Fischer, gonna once again suggest Walk Hard for a comedy poll soon. She and John C. Reilly in a satire of musical biopics, with Reilly basically playing a parody version of Johnny Cash and Jenna a parody version of June Carter Cash. It’s so damn good.

And it has some legitimately great music in it, even if it's mostly joke songs. Like, "Beautiful Ride" is a FANTASTIC song, and it's like, "Oh, right, John C. Reilly is actually a super talented musical theater guy, I almost forgot!"

I love Will Arnett. I always viewed him as just a funny guy who was good at playing jerks in movies and shows. Until I watched Bojack Horseman. Easily his best role and one of the best shows ever. You have to get to it eventually.

I have to be honest as LGBT as male figure skating seems it was was and still remains surprisingly homophobic although thanks to a few openly lgbt+ figure skaters over the years it has finally started to get better.

Also I always cringe at the scene at 15:42 because I have been hit by a skate blade at full speed right into the groin barley missing the soft tissue and it hurts MORE THAN I COULD EVER EXPRESS.

I was looking forward to seeing you react to the Montreal landmarks here the same way you react to the Vancouver ones, but I guess it would get old saying, "Hey, I know that building!" over and over again. My favourite part is how the end of the skating chase cuts directly from the convention center to the Big O - on the opposite side of the city. (Also I realized during this reaction that I'm pretty sure I got my first COVID vaccine in the room where they had the sporting goods fight.)

I've probably seen that movie 3 times. The first time I thought it was good but didn't think about it much. The second time I enjoyed it more. I watched it recently and loved it. It's the kind of movie that doesn't make the theaters anymore and I suppose I was spoiled with the amount of quality thrillers around its release.
