Content

With Severance wrapped up and Better Call Saul coming to an end, we need a new short show to watch after BCS to go between the next long show which is still to be determined. A short show is determined by how many episodes/seasons it has in total, and the weeks listed in the poll is how long it will take to do 1 season.

As usual, please remember that just because what you voted for doesnt win this time, it does not mean it will never be watched. It'll just be watched at a later date.

Comments

jay

omg Shrinking yes! I was literally going to request this last night but forgot to before I passed out, Harrison Ford is comedy gold in that show

Anhad Kalra

Need andor so desperately. Just startlingly good

jay

Also Dark is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, really hope either of these win

Adam

Mare of Easttown

Monica Jane

God, I'm so torn. I adore Andor, but getting to see them react to what we do in the shadows would be so fun.

Sikozu

Andor and its not even close (for me! People's tastes might vary xd)

Ashton Lewis

Andor or I'll self immolate (just kidding)

Alec Zrike

I would recommend either The Residence or Paradise.

Tom austin

You guys should really do the Inbetweeners! one of the funniest shows ever and British comedy at it's finest!

John Mikhail

At some point you guys should consider Arrested Development

Inkpendude

Oh hell no..andor is gonna win and Dark will be left abandoned for another year :(

J Danger87

I'd love so see your take on Resident Alien.

Michael M.

Oh no, Deadwood is not winning. Please, people. I never ask for anything.

RogueRN

Oooh…I’d *LOVE* to see your reaction to Andor. Love you guys! :-)

Tits McGee

Please please please Shrinking or Deadwood!

Efrain Zavala

"The Good Place" would be a good show to watch

Brant

Putting in a vote for the HBO miniseries Station Eleven for the next short show poll

Jakub Krelik

Still no Peaky Bliders huh? You guys are loosing time on that one tbh. With the movie comming relativly soon.

N.A. Vreugdenhil

I can't believe Barry isn't even an option haha, we've commented so many times... I'll keep waiting 😅

Lars G

Going to keep banging the drum for Andor, the best thing I’ve watched this year and one of the few shows that has stuck with me.

Panda Animation

Voted for Shadows, but I would love you added Hannibal on the next show poll 😭

mojo shivers

I would love your guys’ take on Andor. That is a damn fine show from the jump, especially capping it off with a Rogue One rewatch. But I’m almost burnt out on everyone reacting to it these days. I almost voted for Sherlock because no one does that show now for reactions.

Liam Nissan

Still hoping to see you tackle The Bear at some stage..

Onno Smits

Shrinking is amazing and anyone reading this comment that hasn't seen it yet; Give it a chance!

Nathan

Finally Derry girls is on a poll I know it's not winning but it still makes me happy.

Inkpendude

Can't believe is not actually here.. and actual short show

iFixSAN

Some additional short season shows: Preacher and Legion

Alexrandom

Dark seems to be the obvious one to me.

Silje

Dark ♡♡♡

ShōNuff3K

OH NO! WHERE DID FARGO...GO?

DonkyDave

Andor is mandatory at this point! And where is the Pacific!?

overdev

No doctor who ? :(

john blake

Poor Deadwood…why must you always be at the bottom of the polls…lol

robodong

how is doctor who a short show lol.

Mk

Andor, please 🙏🏽

Michael Johnson

Love Deadwood. Perhaps my favorite cast of any show ever. Packed full of great character actors

Stephanie

I would like to recommend the tv shows Slow Horses (4 seasons (so far) 6 episodes each), Justified (6 seasons, 10 episodes each) and 13 Reasons Why (4 seasons, 10 episodes each).

Chris Hamilton RYADTU

Shadows is one of my favourite shows so naturally I'd vote for that but I really think you'd both love it especially after your reaction to the movie.

Cromulentius

One of these days, Deadwood... One of these days.

Śéáń

Oh dang, good choices. Andor is the best that Star Wars has ever been. Deadwood is a phenomenal show. I can't not vote for Derry Girls. If Barry was added to this list it would be a perfect set of selections. There's worse problems to be having.

RJ Skinner

I need them on this show.

robodong

im gonna guess near the end of the short show winner, will be another poll

RJ Skinner

Lovecraft Country needs a look at some point too

Alan Pownall

Dark is amazing, but I'll take Andor.

robodong

stage, i see what you did there. that prob falls under long show anyways with 4 seasons

Chris

Put aside long shows and speed run through all of these? Slogging through the 4 or 5 I don’t care about would be worth it for the 4 or 5 I do.

overdev

Woops :D didnt ready that me idiot

Zhivko Yakimov

I picked several series, as there are plenty that are excellent. However, "Andor" tops my preference right now, as it is frighteningly relevant. Besides, you liked "Rogue One", and this creates a perfect backstory. Just mind that it starts slow, but at some point you cannot stop watching. You got a taste of "What We Do in the Shadows" with the movie, so you get more of that delightful weirdness with the series. Also, Nadja <3 "Sherlock" was quite the event when it premiered, but I feel it may have not aged too well. I don't mean in terms of political correctness or being "woke", just that frantic storytelling may no longer be that appealing. Still great for the banter, though. "Deadwood" is a masterclass in storytelling, but it is a slow series, and it needs dedication. Think of "The Wire", if you need a comparison. "Dark" is very original, and is a German series, so kudos for that alone. "Derry Girls" is such a joy to watch, though you might need subtitles, as the Irish accents are very thick in that one :) "Squid Game" ... the first season is amazing, and I strongly recommend it. However, I wish they had stopped there.

Inkpendude

Genuine question. If 6 weeks is a short show, what other shows could be considered long? This last season of BCS was 5 or 6 weeks too

Jeff K.

Dang. I hope Shrinking sticks around for future polls, it’s a terrific show.

Alex Hyrule

Is that the benedict cumberbatch sherlock ones? If so I reckon you guys will love that.

Steven Cavanagh

May I suggest the 15 Episode Anthology Series Secret Level. it'as on Amazon and is all about Video Games, with the first Episode being D&D.

Daniel Smith

I really want to see their reaction to Derry Girls. I wonder if the accents will be an issue.

Forkbeard83

George, where is Rome for you to introduce Simone to?

Florian

Uhh really nice Poll. Can we work this list down before getting new Polls? :D Dark is pretty nice in the first two seasons I think and I'd love to revisit Sherlock, but Squid Games S3 is a must to finish, and Andor is called to be one of the best Star Wars shows. So hard to decide <3 Maybe just do short shows and mix it up a bit? I don't really need long running shows. We still got 1 million episodes of Star Trek :'D

Michael

My favorite show (tied with MST3k), Deadwood, is never gonna win or get anyone but Jimmy Macram to react to it (my doing!) but I'm gonna vote for it anyway! Lot of really great options, though; whatever wins should be fun.

robodong

short/long show is not determined by how long to get through a season, but by how many seasons and episodes there are. how long it would take to do the whole thing. BCS had 5-6 week runs per season but it took 6 seasons to finish. half a year.

Collinson

For a future short show I recomend Spaced. It's only 2 seasons 6 episodes each 30 mins in length. It's where Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright got started and it's success led to the Cornetto Trilogy being made.

Śéáń

I think they use subtitles for shows anyway, but I think it'll be like The Wire and indeed Deadwood, you can quickly acclimatise to the vernacular, but subtitles are no harm to start off on 😬

Fortress

Andor bros, our time has come

Inkpendude

A makes sense! I get it now.

FranciscoGios

Yeah im in for Andor and What wevdo in the Shadows. Who's voting for Shrinking Pen15?

rycolaa

British shows like Inbetweeners/IT Crowd/Friday Night Dinner have some pretty short seasons

Mike Jenson

You have to ad 2003 Battlestar Galactica

Dragonhunter

I kinda want to vote for it to see their reaction to the dumpster fire that's season 4😂

Nick Kessler

Wayne - Best show no one knows about. Watch on your own time if not for Patreon. :)

UNC

Succession after this please?

Nate Gavin

Andor restored hope within the Star Wars community. Good writing does exist!

Inkpendude

Did you know the human eye can see more shades of green that any other color?

Mike W

Got to be andor for me. As much as I love Sherlock the quality does dip at the end but andor keeps getting better. One for the future, Dune: Prophecy.

Alex Hyrule

The rest is great though. But andor already won. May aswell stop the voting now ha

Charles Clover

Let's get it on a long series poll, then :p

R. Chang

Write in vote for The Good Place

Zachary Plouffe

Deadwood is sincerely one of the best shows out there

Paul Mix

I'm very curious why they haven't already reacted to 2003 BSG… I thought perhaps they'd seen it already. If not, ABSOLUTELY a must-watch. Still in my top-3 favorite TV series ever.

Ginger

Great to see Dark on a poll, even if it doesn't win (yet) <3

Sam Fuller

One of these days y'all should watch Spaced.

Angzarr

Yes, we need Barry

theycallmekev

Since yall loved Rogue One, you gotta watch Andor now!

AdmiralZhou

Oh my god yes pls Andor!

schnoobs

sherlockk!! pls🙏

Jeb Manning

My top pick for a long show is the original Twilight Zone. One of the best TV shows ever and a good companion piece to the Star Trek reactions you're doing right now.

Angzarr

I hope sometime when you need a VERY short show (2 weeks? Not even?) you'll do Police Squad, the predecessor of The Naked Gun movies. It's only 6 half hour episodes and quite fun. I think I like it better than the movies even.

RedCrusade

Yesssss, been waiting for Andor!

Josh B.

Are we ever going to get reactions to The Legend of Korra its been long enough since they reacted to The Last Airbender, I hope the Korra haters didn't influence them not to watch it as I think they would still like it a lot, it would be a perfect time to do so since Avatar Studios will start releasing movies and new TV series in the next 2 years.

Tim Miller

Sadly looks like they are never gonna win one of these polls, but Deadwood and Derry Girls are so good! Maybe we'll get them someday.

HP

I wished they would do a one season mini-series like Chernobyl or Hill House in between shows. Some of my favorites Adolescence Watchmen The Queen's Gambit Mare of Easttown Dopesick The Night of Midnight Mass Sharp Objects

Garrett Mazzuca

Oh man. Andor and What We Do In The Shadows in the same poll? Wild

D

This would give me a good reason to watch Andor. It’s got my vote.

Vince

I don't know if this is the place for requests, but you should react to the first 3 seasons of Fargo. It's brillant.

Tim Miller

Haven't seen Andor (not much of a Star Wars fan anymore), but definitely agree about Deadwood and Derry Girls. Sadly they will probably never win a poll.

iOmegaTron

Would love to see you guys react to Dexter!

Divinerights

Omgggg Dark. May you win a poll on Patreon in my lifetime

Jimmie V

Freaks and Geeks?

Śéáń

Deadwood has been my dream pick for a while because of both it being an excuse to rewatch it again, and that is underrepresented in the reaction space. S&B in particular though will likely appreciate many of the faces that appear throughout too. I would highly recommend Andor even as a lapsed fan. It's something I would recommend to even non-SW fans, it's just a really good show on the nuts and bolts of imperialism & revolution

Lars G

FWIW you don’t need to be a fan to enjoy Andor, the acting and writing make it worthwhile regardless of your background with the movies.

Jeff I.

Yeah, I've suggested Station Eleven a few times before. One of those shows that went too under the mainstream radar to ever win a poll, but they would love it! Brilliant acting, writing, and storytelling.

Lars G

Slow Horses is excellent. Gary Oldman is the best.

paul rai

If George and Simone have not seen it, I would love to see Bojack Horseman on a poll. Would love some adult animation represented (and I loved your Arcane reactions), and I think that ticks off a lot of boxes of being hilarious in a sky, pun-y manner and being emotionally deep and sad. It’s not necessarily a “short show,” but its episodes are less than 30 minutes, so it’s one you could breeze through.

Tim Miller

I would give a vote to Dopesick for sure. Just rewatched that recently, it's so good.

Vellu

Barry, masterpiece in efficient storytelling (4 x 8 x 30 minute episodes, 2 weeks per season, 8 weeks for whole show)

PureGonzo

Dark is so underrated. Well, not so much underrated as it is that most people haven’t seen it because it wasn’t marketed very well in the states. But it’s a masterpiece.

JohnB

The Good Place! Please.

Jeff I.

Barry would be a great for the next long show poll. They'd both love it. Especially Simone, considering her previous acting training/background.

Adverb

Andor is great, but I really wish Deadwood would get some love. An amazing show that no one has reacted to.

TomGas2025

Shrinking is written by "Roy Kent" from Ted Lasso...he even plays in it and its a great show again.

Adam K

I was REALLY hoping for Arrested Development (3 seasons). Would have been a hoot. Maybe next time.

Jef Etters

Pen15 is brilliant. It won’t win the poll by a long shot but it is pure comedic/bittersweet art. I imagine Andor will get a ton of votes, but most people sleep on the Obi-Wan miniseries and it critically expands one’s understanding of the relationship between Anakin and Obi/Wan and shows us a character (no spoilers) as a child that I guarantee George and Simone would adore the actor/actress’ performance of. Also, no Mandalorian season 3?

Jared Petty

George and Simone, I love everything y'all do and I rarely comment. I entreat you to ignore democracy just in this one case. What We Do In the Shadows is the most George and Simone show ever devised by humans. The two of you not watching it would be a crime against humanity. There are shows on this list that might be better or more popular, but none that fit your vibe so perfectly.

robodong

ya ignore the thing their customers paid for. that will go over well.

AgentFalcon

Better Off Ted would be a great short show for a future poll. Only 2 seasons. Corporate parody satire with a Arrested Development vibe (even has Portia De Rossi in a big role).

Brant

The only reason I can think that it didn’t get more attention when it came out is it got pegged as a “pandemic show” and it was released during Covid, even though it isn’t. It’s a shame, because it’s such an amazing series. The only HBO show that comes close to the quality of True Detective S1 in my opinion.

Jared Petty

You must be fun at parties.

Chris

Watch This with Joe and Kevin are doing it now

Funkachute

Andor will win, as it should. But somewhere down the line you need to watch Hannibal. And some of the other shows on this poll as well.

Nolmt112

Yes sir! Some great choices here but the decision was easy for me, Andor and Deadwood. Fully confident those will make for great reactions by you both and shows you will really like. (I think anyways)

Tim T—

Deadwood, Deadwood, Deadwood.

Jason McCloud

I wish Deadwood got more love. It was one of my favorite shows and I have not seen anyone react to it

dudewheresmycar

It's been a while since you did the Star Wars Rogue One reaction. I'm not sure if you've watched Rogue One since then but I would recommended a rewatch before you start the show. Not as a reaction, just in your own time. Knowing where the characters end up and having that knowledge fresh in your mind really makes the impact of the last couple of episodes that much greater. Even watching your own YouTube edit reaction, or someone else's would suffice.

Big Mac

This would be amazing if they haven't seen it.

Jomero

Great show. Far too ahead of its time and cancelled too soon.

Dakota

Might I recommend for the future "Gravity Falls". It's such a great 2 season only cartoon. Don't know if you'll want to try and solve the ciphers in the show.

Chris

Atlanta should make a short series poll. Also Reservation Dogs, though it'll never win.

s0rd3z

All decent picks. I dunno, I couldn't get into Andor but maybe I would enjoy more as a watch along, only seen the first episode and just didn't have a desire to continue.. Would love to see What we do in the Shadows as I have yet to watch that and I have heard it's really good I have also been holding off on Squid Game s3 to watch along with S&G. Dark gets overly convoluted and I lose interest after the first season or so but I do think they would really like it. TLDR; I wouldn't really be disappointed by any of these.

Andrew

It's probably my all time favorite. Definitely top 5. There are a few reactions to it. Right now Watch This! with Joe and Kevin are watching it on YT.

Josip Buretić

To bad not many DARK fans here ☹️☹️....what we do in the shadows would be also great but to many Star wars fans 😜

Joe Concepts

I felt like many others did, that like the first 3 episodes of Andor drag a little. Like they could have covered those in just one episode. But it really kicks in after that.

Josip Buretić

Unfortunately it doesn't look good for us 😕😞 to many Star Wars lovers here 🥱

Jennifer McKenzie

My vote’s for Andor. You might also want to check out Murderbot which just finished its first season on Apple

StonyD

Sherlock

Jef Etters

I understand why people like Andor. I’ve only seen the first season and it was a struggle. It’s boring. I get it, a “real” tv show in the star wars universe, but apparently I’m in the minority because when I watch Star Wars I want Jedi’s, the force, lightsabers, etc. Andor is exceptionally written and acted, I guess. I’m glad I’ve seen it as a completionist but I can’t imagine ever rewatching it.

Seth's Coffee Cup Ambush

I certainly won’t complain if it’s Andor - it’s one of the best things to happen to Star Wars in a long time - but What We Do In The Shadows is such a fun show so that’s my pick. For future shows please consider: Barry (2018) Hannibal (2013) The Night Manager (2016) (miniseries) Little Drummer Girl (2018) (miniseries)

Music

Shrinking is one of my absolute favorite shows!! I’ve actually only seen 3 of the shows on this poll, so I voted for all 3: Shrinking, Derry Girls, What We Do in the Shadows.

Divinerights

What we know is a drop… just wait it’ll happen

Senec

I'm all in for What We Do In The Shadows. I was a little apprehensive about the show when I saw the cast it follows is different from the movie, but then I saw Matt Berry was one of the main characters and my worries evaporated. I'd love to see What We Do In The Shadows end up nudging Cinebinge into watching The IT Crowd.

Ronny Boss

I think you fine folks would really enjoy Deadwood.

Music

Shrinking is such a wonderful show! I feel like you’re guaranteed to laugh and cry in each episode.

Kyle Peterson

Would love to see you guys react to Dark!

Davide

Dark

TomGas2025

Exactly...the mix is almost perfect.

G T

Haven't seen anything good from the Star Wars franchise in a long time guess I'll get my chance to rectify that. we could squeeze Fargo into the short series no? I think it's only 10 episodes per season and as an anthology there's no connection between seasons.

CJGardner

Hanniballllllll!

Nemo

I know George plays games in his spare time but if you haven't played it already. Or if simone hasn't played it. A let's play of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 would be a real treat! :D

Nemo

Do you ever think you will react to anime on the channel?

robodong

did you miss the last bunch of videos where he wore an Esquie shirt lol? hes def played it.

Philip Akca

know andor is recent, but cmon guys, Sherlock made careers:)

Jose Robles

I personally didn't like Obi wan story because it was bad written and awful work on so many levels, the only thing hold it up was Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, but they even ripoff one crucial part of the Ashoka vs Darth Vader battle on SW:Rebelds. So no , I was pretty disappointed on that series. I really try to like it but... makes me mad.

Vellu

I think they have referred to it once or twice, so maybe they have seen it already. It's also very challenging show to react to, if you blink or take a sip at the wrong time you miss three jokes.

Maarten Martens

Without giving spoilers, do you have need to watch any other Star Wars movies/series prior to Andor? I've seen Rogue One and Episodes 7-9, plus the Mandalorian. I'm kinda familiar with Episodes 1-6, but in snippets. I've heard good things about Andor, it occurs around the time of Rogue One, right?

Jose Robles

Also I think they haven't watch the Mandalorian Season 3 because it became a show to promote other shows, you need to have watched previous SW shows to understand S3.

sarCC

I'm actually recommending the latter: rewatching Rogue One AFTER completing Seasons 1 & 2 of Andor. It's much more satisfying having a fuller picture of the characters' backstories and the events leading into the movie.

FWPJR.

I really wish Barry was on here, oh well.

sarCC

It's actually doing quite well here, beating Squid Game and yet another apple show. This bodes well for the future, in my opinion.

Jonathan Eaton

I just realized you can vote for more than one show. (Choose all that apply)

sarCC

So, underseen, then.

Opti_Frog

Of course it's not going to win, but Derry Girls is 100% my favourite show in this poll.

SnabbKassa

and drove its fanbase insane

sarCC

A dip in quality is what has me hesitant on having them get into WWDITS. I love love LOVED most of the show...but the introduction and subsequent overuse of a character in the latter half of the show really ruined it for me (wild, because I absolutely love the actor involved in everything else, but can't stand them in said role). It's why I heartily recommend Wellington Paranormal to all fans of the WWDITS movie, as it is a direct sequel series and stays uproariously funny the entire way through.

sarCC

Sherlock is.

Thomas Becker

I think you should react to the first season of Derry Girls regardless. It really lends itself to a fun reaction and is different from most of the other shows you reacted to. And really short.

Bill

You can easily watch Andor without seeing any other Star Wars shows or movies.

s0rd3z

I would definitely give Andor another go. Sometimes it's just my frame of mind at the time. Star Wars, and Marvel honestly, are both things I love but they've over saturated the market and kind of over stayed it's welcome for me I guess.

Michael

Future short show request: Fawlty Towers, the best situation comedy ever.

WayneC

I would suggest doing 3 episodes per week of Andor. The story is laid out in 3 episode segments, especially in season 2.

dudewheresmycar

Andor is a prequel to Rogue One though. It's fully intended that you be familiar with the outcome of the movie before you watch the show, and that intent translates into a hard emotional gut punch for the shows final scenes because you know the outcome.

China Andronicus

Oh man, Pen15 is a great show. Love to see it even turn up here.

Opti_Frog

Not to mention, it's side-splittingly funny!

Ira K.

I'm not sure Dark is ever gonna win those polls, not enough people have seen it, sadly

Mathieu Dallaire

I agree, Andor is great without previous experience to SW. But, you may miss out on a lot of easter eggs. I would say that Rogue One is probably what I would recommend most, and in second place I would put either New Hope or the anime Rebels.

Ira K.

and fumbled the last season... I mean it's Moffat and Gattis, I don't know why expected them to stick the landing lmao

Ron

For next time, I'd like to nominate Devs (2020) which is only 8 episodes (1 season) and is a complete story.

WayneC

Some other short series to consider: Rogue Heroes Season 1 (6 Episodes) Rogue Heroes Season 2 (6 Episodes) Masters of the Air (9 Episodes) These are based on books about actual events in WW2. Masters of the Air is by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, about the USAAF's Eighth Air Force bombing campaign over Europe. The series follows, mostly, members of one bomber group. There are issues with the series, IMO, but it does give some sense of the air war, Rogue Heroes follows the creation and activities of the Special Air Service (SAS) in WW2. The first series is in North Africa, the second series, mostly in Italy. At the biginning of the first season episodes, the series says: "Based on a true story", and that "the events depicted which seem most unbelievable… are mostly true". For the second season it was: "Inspired by true events... But be aware... This is NOT a history lesson."

Tarenor

I second that. It is like 3 episodes=1 chapter

Richard Wakeling

Yes! Watchmen and Midnight Mass are two of my favourite series of TV ever.

Joe

Deadwood is so fucking good. I hope you get round to it soon. Also, BLACK SAILS!!!

mky

The Sandman would be a good one for next time.

WalrusWallace

Derry Girls and What We Do in the Shadows are so funny. Hopefully you guys will react to it someday. They're both so good in their own ways

WalrusWallace

Yes please! I agree it's a great show

Jimmy Olofsson

Fully expect Andor to win but my vote goes to Dark

WalrusWallace

Yes I agree. The Legend of Korra was great in its own right. Hopefully there will be a reaction to it

John

I would agree you can watch it with limited exposure to the previous content and be fine though some Easter eggs you may miss. If you have time I would recommend episodes 4-6 (the original trilogy and Rogue One) and you’ll be good

Kate

All in for Shadows

Brian Gislason

Waiting for Murderbot to show up on a list.

Kogs

I really enjoy how you mix things up by watching shorter shows in between the seasons of longer ones — it keeps things fresh and interesting. For the next poll on a longer series, I’d love to suggest Mr. Robot. I think it would be an amazing fit for your reactions!

Chris

You can watch and enjoy without seeing anything else, but I'd really emphasize that you'll miss key emotional beats without seeing Rogue One (and Rogue One probably requires A New Hope).

Onikaze

nice list, checked 5 shows :P The inclusion of Deadwood made me think of other HBO shows from around that time so I am suggesting Carnivale for future consideration

Alex Laime

What, no Queen's Gambit? Only seven episodes, only one season, and IMO a lot better than any of those listed.

Farbod

Andor. No question.

Alex Ch

I respect all of your opinions and am looking forward to Andor. In my heart, however, my vocabulary has been reduced to Wu’s favorite English word.

Jef Etters

I completely understand your viewpoint on Obi-Wan. But I think they’re never going to watch rebels. There are so many fans who will never watch clone wars or rebels since they are cartoons. But there are tons of people who have just seen the originals and prequels and maybe rogue one. For those fans, Obi-Wan is perfect, story wise. You know why, I don’t want to post spoilers. And I believe George and Simone happen to fall in that category of fan.

Kevin

My vote for next two series is Andor and Succession

JoeNotCharles

Suggestions for the next TV poll: The Good Place, Halt and Catch Fire, Station Eleven.

John

Reservation Dogs would be worth watching

Kinokind

Dark is without a doubt the greatest piece of science fiction ever written in any medium. I can only assume it isn't doing better because not as many people have seen it. Or perhaps they were scared by the need to read subtitles, but that's soon forgotten. BTW, avoid the (badly) dubbed version. Otherwise, a masterpiece.

m

I think they said "Andor. No question" and meant to signify that there is no doubt in their mind that Andor should be the next show and they're right

micah saldana

dark... though it does not seem to be the popular choice here

Saifu

ANDOR FANS RISE UP

m

"What, no 'Freddy Got Fingered'? Only one movie, only 90 minutes and IMO a lot better than any of those listed"

John

This poll is good. hope The Good Place is being considered for the long show poll or the next short show poll

m

For future consideration, you were asking about prominent wrestler performances, and John Cena knocked it out of the park with The Suicide Squad 2021 - and especially with the follow-up, one-season show Peacemaker... if you haven't watched that one on your own time. Also: Tour de Pharmacy featuring him, Orlando Bloom, and a ton of fun guests is a ridiculous mockumentary well worth a romp. Very much recommended on top of that. Peacemaker though, if only for Gunn's knack to put together a great soundtrack.

m

The Good Place is the most comfortingly pleasant show ever, sure would get a vote of mine

China Andronicus

Black Sails is a definite short show recommendation. One of my favorite shows ever. Phenomenal pirate piece that has an actual PhD Pirate Historian backing it for its accuracy, which I love.

John

The Good Place is great

Gee

If I could add my vote for this. Think you guys would love it tbh.

Tom Hess

Has to be Andor. It's been the only half-decent Star Wars content we got in the last 10 years or so.

Dominique Cloet

DISSAPOINTED!!! Objectively speaking, Dark should be clearing the board here. It’s a masterpiece from start to finish.

Jeff K.

I genuinely think The Good Place might be the most perfect sitcom ever made. Brilliant from start to finish, and the finale is one of the best I've ever seen, for any show, ever.

Jeff K.

I'm gonna go ahead and throw out a suggestion for The Bear again, because with George's experience working in kitchens, I am *so* interested in his take.

Stephanie

I agree, but not just Gary Oldman is great in this. Jack Lowden does an excellent job too.😊

Dominique Cloet

Agreed. It should knock every other option out. You hate to see it.

Michael

They should watch Sanctuary Moon for the next long series, though that may take a decade or more to finish...

John

In that spirit I would also recommend High Score, it’s 6 episodes on Netflix and also about the history of video games.

JoeE

Would recommend Barry, bojack horseman, midnight mass

Anamondaris

Andor! Rewatch Rogue One before you start it though💜

cincassette

I hope “Russian Doll” will be considered as a future short show!

Salleban

I don't know if people and you guys are interested, but how about Stranger Things? Since the final season is coming this november, I think it would be nice timing to watch the show and catch up when the final season is about to end.

JoeNotCharles

Ooh, I didn't even think of that. That was such a great show!

Roddy Hutchinson

Should check out Farscape! Such a great show!

Ignacio Garcia

This may be a tangent, but have you guys considered reacting to anime shows? Or is anime copyright too much of a hassle?

dansoddity

Andor and it's not even close.

Feignorance

Dark is an amazing show.

Tim Miller

BA reactions also did a good Deadwood reaction. Such a great show.

King_Panarisi

Wouldn't it be better to rewatch Rogue One after Andor? Not that i see CineBinge do a rewatch anyway...

King_Panarisi

Don't they usually switch every season of a show that wins with what got second place anyway?

maikeru

for the next short show poll: Common Side Effects (2024)

maikeru

I think not too many have seen it bc it’s a foreign series

Steve Chase

You guys need to consider a one that won't win any polls. Its 4 episodes and it's based on the Central Park 5. It's an amazing story that will sicken you and inspire you all at once. The mini-series is called, "When They See Us. Please consider

MasterElodin

Just curious since this is a TV show poll if there are any plans to watch the boys/Gen v? Since there have been a couple new seasons since you last watched it.

Maarten Martens

Thanks for all the responses. I have enough knowledge of Ep 4-6 to pick up on key events. Rogue One was an absolute blast as well.

beefjerkywizard

I'm actually kinda bummed how little it is being voted for. Nothing wrong with the other shows but Dark is probably top 5 of my favourites

beefjerkywizard

I think it came in second in the poll that BCS won

beefjerkywizard

I usually don't get bummed out by the polls because different people like different things but I'm sad Dark is being slept on. I think it's structure is perfect for reactions

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

Sooooo much great TV. Deadwood is a must since the HBO movie somewhat corrected the tragedy of it's early cancellation. PEAKY BLINDERS, VIKINGS, THE LAST KINGDOM to name a few. I've heard AMERICAN GODS is great and I'd be down to first-time watch it with you all.

Tcrimson05T

WHEN THE TRUTH IS TAKEN FROM US, WHEN IT IS RIPPED OUT OF OUR HANDS....

Jay S

Some fantastic choices. Also please consider Black Sails, a true work of art.

UnlicensedOkie

Do people really not wanna see them finish squid game?

Jay S

I genuinely think it will become one of, if not their favourite show.

UnlicensedOkie

I honestly thought it wasn’t bad. Decent characters. The story flowed fairly well. The end wasn’t the greatest but I didn’t complain too much about it

micah

would recommend watching andor in 3 ep chunks lol

micah

but so happy that andor is on the poll 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Emily G

PEN15 losing is an absolute travesty 😭

dave

PEN15 is soo good. I hope it makes the cut some day because I'm positive both of you will love it.

Brandon

I've been kind of done with Star Wars, for reasons I won't get into. I have a reason to watch Andor now, though. So I'm definitely on board if it wins. Just please... anything but Sherlock. 😅

Wicked Wookie

None of those appeal me. Try these for short series: Afro Samurai, Barry, 11-22-63, Black Dynamite (& the movie 1st), Good Omens, Silicon Valley, & Mr. Robot.

Anamondaris

That depends. If they only watched it that one time for the reaction I think they should, or some kind of recap. My friends who only saw it once all did a rewatch before the show. A few days before it started one of them told me they were super psyched to see Ewoks again😂 Which took me a minute to realize they thought it was about Endor. And when I said Cassian they had no idea, so for some I think it’s worth it

ChiefKC

I would like to see something more like Foundation or For All Mankind

Logan Kerlee

The two shows that I'm most interested in watching are both ranked 1 and 2 as far a votes go. So either way I'll be happy. :) Though, in this case I'd much prefer a reaction for Sherlock. It's all good though - I can be patient. :P

Logan Kerlee

I can recommend either one of those. Both are great watches! I'm always down for some science based shows. :)

Logan Kerlee

lol, why the hate on Sherlock? I love that show! haha

Eugene Reilly

Would love to get the Canadian perspective on Shoresy (Hulu) Six super-tight episodes, in each of four short seasons. Funniest and most endearing show I’ve seen in a long time

Logan Kerlee

Great suggestion Jeff! I'm a big fan of The Bear and would love to hear his takes on things.

BellaBlue

Requests for your consideration: Shorter TV Series division: - Wednesday (1 season, S2 out soon) - My So Called Life (1 Season) - 11.22.63 ( 1 Season) - The Queen's Gambit (1 Season) - Sharp Objects (1 Season)

Logan Kerlee

I'm with you here djKENTO! I'm a huge fan of that show! It's awesomely made, has loads of interesting drama and fan tidbits all over the place. :D

Moondigger

I had a vague notion that they already reacted to The Queen's Gambit, but a search here and on YouTube turned up nothing. That should be their top priority, TBH, and the fact that it wasn't in this poll means it should just jump to the front of the list. :)

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

No idea how I forgot to mention THE BEAR!!!! I've been waiting weeks for this poll just to suggest it. Don't care if George already watched it, it's totally worth a rewatch..

Logan Kerlee

I don't see it happening on a regular basis nut from time to time, I think it'll happen. :)

Logan Kerlee

I'm more a fan of Trigun, but Cowboy Bebop would be excellent. :)

Philipp Roensch

Anything but Sherlock^^, I know hot take. I guess I give Andor another chance, maybe it clicks in company. Someday we shall have Deadwood, but totally understand it is on the slow burn side.

Michael Chavira

I may have fucked my life up flatter than hammered shit, but whenever I see Deadwood on a poll, this cocksucker is voting for it. Always. "I apologize"

Chris B

You would love "The Queens Gambit"

Brian Belko

Throwing support in for Station Eleven. One season of spectacular TV.

Michael

I APOLOGIZEEE

Michael

I always thought the first two seasons of Boardwalk Empire would have been perfect if it ended on that finale.

Ress

Excited to see these options! If you guys are ever looking to add to your list of short shows, I think you'd have a lot of fun with Deadloch (a dryly funny Australian murder-mystery) or with Scavengers Reign (adult animated science fiction).

Simon Pegged Me

As a fellow member of the cocksucking class, I agree, not that your life is fucked flatter than a chancre, but that whenever I see Deadwood on a poll, I click on it faster than I can shoot my seed prematurely. Condolences on your life.

Emily G

I would kill to have you two watch PEN15, please please consider it for the future since it’s obviously not going to win!💔 It’s one of the funniest most realistic shows that has come out in a few years!

Jesse Coombs

I'm glad to see Andor winning, but I'm always going to vote for Deadwood.

Brandon

It's mostly because I've seen it so many times in my personal life, thanks to a partner that loves it so much. I do think it takes a steep decline after season 2, though.

Kelly Pickard

I'm so jazzed for Andor. Just a fantastic show.

Mycenaeus

It really is one of the worst Sherlock Holmes adaption. "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" (1984–1994) on the other hand would be great. Even the film series from 1939–1946 starring Basil Rathbone is worth watching, though certainly not my first choice either.

Lars G

How far in to Andor did you get? I'm definitely biased as a fan of the show, but I did find that it's structured a bit differently from most other shows and that throws some people off. But if you're good on the slow burns like Deadwood, I think you'd appreciated it.

Mycenaeus

Barry is a great show indeed. Also, I'm surprised nobody seems to have suggested Fargo yet.

Robert Finlay

Deadwood is by far the best show here.

Cubonemaker

Sherlock is one of the best shows I’ve seen, especially the first two seasons.

My name is Jere

Squid game isn't as popular as I thought. I guess the peeps didn't like season 2 very much.

Philipp Roensch

@LarsG Did not finish season one, about 7 episodes. And I know people say the action kicks in later, but it just had too many characters I cannot connect to. Honestly was my falling asleep show :D.

etjzetjezerikrk

Would much rather watch that that absolutely any of these, nothing interesting here...

Garrett Mazzuca

Gotta recommend Interview with the Vampire for the next round. Excellent show that doesn't get mentioned often enough.

DDK

Yesss Andor, soo pumped for that. Gritty, realistic Star Wars for adults. The political commentary is sooo good.

DDK

I also recommend watching Andor in 3 episode batches, as the creator intended. There are 3 episode story arcs within the larger story of each season. Also don’t forget to rewatch Rogue One after. It’s almost a different experience, seen a ton of other channels react to it for a 2nd time.

PeppermintWizardOfAus

I know others have mentioned but I would also highly highly recommend watching Andor in 3 episode batches as that’s how the series is structured and it might get a little off with the pacing if you don’t watch in that way. Up to your schedule of course

Doug Marler

Do you take recommendations for shows? I don't see Vikings with Travis Fimmel. Any plans to watch the series in the future?

Matt Blanchette

Not on the list, but if you find time for another one after this poll, give "Orphan Black" a shot -- 5 seasons, 10 episodes each. It came out five years straight, and, uh... once you watch it, you'll certainly see WHY each season's episode count would only run to 10 each. Technical matters... and how they use that is why it's a hell of a series. ;-) (Also, it's CanCon, baybeh!)

Mike FromOz

Sherlock is beating WWDITS? Eww.

Matt Blanchette

You stopped before the Narkina arc? :-o What the doodle?

Matt Blanchette

They'd need to watch "Letterkenny" first. With a packet of alldressedups.

Xavier Casanova

Ugh, please no more Star Wars. One of the many things I love about this channel is the lack of Star Wars content. I know Andor is supposedly good but that's how the dark side of content reels you in. No Midnight Mass? Mike Flanagan is 2 for 2 with you both and it's only 7 episodes. ;-)

Steve kephart

I completely agree. I think George And Simone will like it the best. I mean, it catapulted the two main actors careers into roles in the LOTR series.

Steve kephart

I was surprised it wasn't on the list.

Major Peril

+1 for The Sandman (2022). Beautiful show.

Elias Smith

Haven't seen any SW shows, and the only movie I'd seen outside of the main 9 was Rogue One. Andor RULES so much. I have no interest in looking at any of the other TV shows, and I'm pretty sure that's the same way CineBinge looks at it, too.

My name is Jere

11.22.63 would be great but too controversial for YouTube... Sadly.

maikeru

Of all those on the poll I‘ve only seen Dark, but although I believe that Andor and Sherlock are probably very good I‘d still wish they watched Fargo (which is not on the poll 🥲) soon because it has such a unique feel to it and interesting characters and a unique dark, funny/bizarre vibe

BellaBlue

maybe so...I wish they would sometimes do a patreon only watch for certain things...

maikeru

I wish S&G would react to King of Queens. I think they‘d like the dynamics between the three main characters and the ton of other interesting/funny characters. There are numerous funny scenes in that show

John Miller

Forget about Star Wars. Andor is a great series, in its own right. You'll be hard pressed to find better writing and acting.

maikeru

Black Dynamite is genius, so fuckin good

nossieboy

Deadwood is gonna be amazing when it finally gets voted in. It’s the best show in the list.

Rory Campbell

ikr. To keep things respectful, I just wont say anything about Sherlock. Certainly can't say anything nice.

Logan Kerlee

Dark's one that I'm interested in and haven't watched. Fargo I've watched the first season of and enjoyed it but I don't really want to jump into that one fresh again because I didn't enjoy all of it. Both Andor and Sherlock I've watched, enjoyed and would really like seeing a reaction for.

Logan Kerlee

I'd love to see them watch The Watchmen. That show was a load of fun to watch plus I dig the dark vibes in it.

ScotchBeard78

Six Feet Under The X-Files Crashing (Phoebe Waller Bridge before Fleabag)

Logan Kerlee

Good show but I always wind up feeling disappointed by it. I know it's said far too often but the book(s) is(are) so much better! If they haven't ever read the books they may enjoy the show but for those that have, I felt that the shows lacked a lot of what made them so popular.

Logan Kerlee

Other channels ate that show up! I remember being subbed to one back when they were new and whoa - everybody was hooked on it then. :)

Jason

Deadwood is my favorite HBO show next to The Sopranos. Despite that, I've never watched any reaction to it. I really hope Cinebinge decides to take it on.

Logan Kerlee

11.22.63 is a fantastic watch but some folks would get mighty worked up over it. It's a high quality show though!

Martin

Very excited for the Andor reaction. It’s the best Star Wars vehicle since the original trilogy.

TheSentry77

Man, I was really hoping WWDITS would be the easy 2nd place after the obvious fan-favorite Andor. I really hope they get around to watching it, especially seeing how much they enjoyed the movie.

Rory Campbell

Adolescence is so short at just 4 episodes that I don't see it making it on a poll any time soon, but man do George and Simone need to watch that at some point. Easily the best short series I've seen and unique as hell. I could sing its praises for hours.

Alex Ch

This is the short series poll. It doesn’t qualify.

Jeff I.

Yep, Adolescence would be a great reaction! And it's only a couple weeks worth of reaction slots.

Logan Nelson

Andor is... Bad... Maybe just not for me...

Golandaz

I have friends everywhere

Golandaz

You can DM them recommendations and they put it in the backlog

BellaBlue

yep...it's too bad those thoughts have to play into what is watched but I know it is the reality of the situation... I loved the novel and the show did a really good job with it

Ben Stevens

X-Files is looooooong. 11 seasons now, some of those 20+ episodes, but this 90s kid would absolutely find a way to stick around for all 11 seasons of that reaction. one of the best syndicated network TV shows ever, in my opinion. it's also where channel favorite Vince Gilligan got his start writing episodic television, and where he met and cast Bryan Cranston for the first time.

Ben Stevens

i'm sure George has seen Silicon Valley by now. such a good show. it would more likely be new only to Simone.

Katie Fraker

Funny = Derry Girls or What We Do In the Shadows

Ben Stevens

the only show getting my vote has vampires in it.. same as the movie poll from last week!

Aeri

I'd love to see Penny Dreadful show up on one of your TV show polls. Fantastic show, and I don't think I've ever seen another reaction channel watch it.

Rupert Purcat

Sherlock really is a must watch, poll winner or not. You will thank me.

Farbod

100% this.

Joits

Please add One Piece!

Simon Pegged Me

I agree. I enjoyed it more than the movie.

Simon Pegged Me

For future consideration, I recommend Pushing Daisies (2007-09).

Logan Kerlee

Not sure how long you've been on here but generally there's some type of vote going on for things. Until Upright wins a poll it'll likely remain without a reaction.

Logan Kerlee

Everybody has their tastes. This may not be your thing here but I'm sure something else will win a poll at some point that you'll be s big fan of. :)

jose giron

I see most haven't seen the sci fi masterpiece that is DARK

Kameron Webb

Man I’d love to see Barry on a future poll! For this poll, shrinking has my vote.

sarCC

Sure, but they're not 26 episodes per season.

sarCC

Reservation Dogs is soooo good.

Mark Messer

thats seems very insulting. I wouldnt have found this channel if not for their early SW reactions.

Mark Messer

the old stuff (and imo prequels) are still good . The new stuff I can understand not liking. I dont let it taint the old stuff. Andor is actually good however

Mark Messer

I would go Revenge of the Sith, Andor, then finish with Rogue One

Mark Messer

Honestly, ep 1-3 are good too. Not as needed for backstory but still fun

Mark Messer

Rogue One happens after the show, so watching after might make more sense

Mark Messer

I think the animal/human relationships can be a turn off to people, but I agree its a good show

Mark Messer

Rogue one happens after the show, so watching Rogue One before makes no sense to me

Truth

Peaky Blinders on the next poll

Roby J

I love the "double features" Cinebinge has done in the past. If you're looking for another chance to do something like that then the pair Walk the Line (2005) / Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) would be a great choice.

Searlas D

It's a shame that comedies never win on these polls because WWDITS is brilliant. They both enjoyed the movie and the series is much, much better imo.

Logan Nelson

My picks rarely win and I'm feeling bitter about it... Nothing to be done but wait, I guess lol... I still think Star Wars has been played out since episode 1 dropped, but as you say it's my opinion, and like assholes, everyones got one... (Read this with humor please, no hate intended)

dudewheresmycar

Hey George. Since it looks like it's going to be Andor, I thought I'd throw some useful info at you. Whilst there is an overarching storyline through the whole show, Andor is structured with each season containing four 3-episode story arcs, essentially creating four "movies" within each season. Each 3 episode arc is then followed by a minor time jump before the next 3 episode arc. For season 2 they even went as far as releasing 3 episodes a week to further emphasize the movie within a series structure, with the shows director even going as far as referring to each 3 episode story arc as it's own Star Wars movie. Since you list the show on the poll as being 6 weeks, would that mean 4 episodes a week? If so it might be better and less awkward to do 3 a week because of the info I provided above?

Kial O'C

I’m expecting to see new Scrubs on a list once that’s out

Chris

Everyone is posting about how to chunk out Andor, so I'll add my two cents. Season 1 actually doesn't follow the 3 ep arcs cleanly--it breaks out 1-3, 4-6, 7 on its own, 8-10, 11-12. Personally, I'd say 2/wk works as well as 3 b/c 5-6 and 9-10 are the two blocks I'd most want together. Season 2, yes, it's fully and explicitly intended to be consumed as 3 episode arcs.

Divinerights

I would like to know too. They did OPM s1 a while ago

David

hoping severance or bear makes it to the new big show vote

ProIndy

I'm still living in the hope that you would some day watch Stargate SG-1. I know that is not an option for a "short series". But maybe after you've made it through all of Star Trek? :)

PDP1472

Another vote for Black Sails. Toby Stephans has some of the best monologues I've seen in television.

BigM

I have to suggest the show Banshee with our very own Homelander Anthony Starr in the lead role. It's only 4 seasons with a total of 38 episodes. It's such a good show and it's criminally rare that reactors watch it.

BigM

Watching Stargate SG-1 brings the risk of also getting thrown into all the spin-offs. Personally I think it's well worth it having seen all of it multiple times but it could be a long ride.

PDP1472

You guys are dangling Deadwood just to torture us aren't you? Seriously though, Andor's a great show. I wish Dark and WWDITS scored higher though. They're well worth watching.

BigM

How can you have such a long list and not have Banshee on there.

BigM

Personally haven't seen a single episode of squid game. Don't really have any interest of doing so either.

BigM

I have to say Sherlock is a bit of a conundrum for me. I know I have seen at least a season of it, but I genuinely have no idea how many or what happened or anything. That's not a great impact of a show.

droodly

They have watched all of severance. It's available here on the site.

sarCC

Generation Kill is so great. Best/most accurate depiction of the modern-day US military.

China Andronicus

He’s so good. The entire cast is phenomenal, and agreed, amazing dialogue. I posted one clip of him talking with Mrs. Barlow (“who would you be apologizing to?” “To England!”) and she was immediately sold and began watching. Such a ridiculously good show.

Marc Mees

Sherlock would be absolutely fantastic. Hopefully now and if not hopefully soon.

My name is Jere

I think it would be cool idea to have 2nd round for winner and runner up if the winner doesnt get over 50% from all votes since voting a tv show is such a long commitment

Mitch M

Murderbot! The first season is only 10 episodes long and they're each only like half an hour. It just got renewed for a second season on AppleTV, but that'll be a while.

Jasbro

Hopefully you get to finish Squid Game at some point this year, if only to avoid being spoiled but also that ending was nuts, fantastic show and i honestly didnt think they could pull it off since the creator only intended it to be 1 season.

G P

Recommending Oz - I don't think anyone has reacted to it

Pat Johnson

Love, Death and Robots Please!!!

Graeme McCutcheon

Do consider Orphan Black in future poll. 5 seasons x 10 episodes - not sure if that makes it a long show or a short one.

Jeff I.

Yeah, I'd love for them to do Midnight Mass someday.

Jeff I.

Same here, Jamie. Not interested in anything on this particular poll, but it happens sometimes.

Jeff I.

Season 2 wasn't very good overall, and I found Season 3 not much better.

UnlicensedOkie

Anything particular you didn’t like?

Jeff I.

Yes to Sharp Objects and Mare of Eastttown. Two great miniseries!

Jeff I.

Agreed, Brant. Station Eleven wasn't marketed very well by HBO, but it won some awards and got a ton of praise from critics at least.

noah

Barry should be considered in a vote. It's not long and it's amazing.

James Lawson

God id LOVE to re-watch SG1 with Simone and George <3

Donna Castellano

I'd love to see an OZ react. HBO's first hour long drama series. It's so damn good.

Donna Castellano

IMHO the first season was solid. After that, 👎

Charles

When watching Andor, you should probably do them 3 episodes at a time instead of two. Each set of 3 is like it's own story/short movie

Nathan m schuessler

You guys absolutely have to do what we do in the shadows. If not now, please keep adding it for the future!

BigM

Yes, it would seem I didn't enjoy it that much either.

Rooster Aleution

I would still love S & G to watch Reaper, it's only a 2 seasons long. Like Firefly, it's a series that was cancelled too early. So fun and was just getting into some really interesting overarching plots when it was cancelled.

Rooster Aleution

It was really groundbreaking back in the day.

Glenner7

The Queen's Gambit (I'd also suggest, along with the others that mentioned it, Orphan Black).

Curio

Deadwood is in that trinity of HBO’s great dramas of the oughts (The Sopranos the yin, The Wire the yang, and Deadwood smoothly betwixt them.) Definitely watch it someday! A writing and directing style very different from anything else, and some of the best meditations on power and rage in the history of TV.

KLycaon6417

I would love to see their reaction to the amc series version of Interview With The Vampire which even though they watched the movie the changes to the characters are fascinating with the story and the details they could flesh out better with a series run time as well as the beautiful music and well done cinematography and acting to the point where it’s now getting a third season

Logan Nelson

I feel the same way about Luther...

Garrett Mazzuca

I might recommend watching Andor 3 episodes at a time instead of 2. The episodes released 3 at a time, and it feels like they filmed specifically with that in mind.

Zhivko Yakimov

I second this. In fact, it follows how production teams switched, as Toby Haynes directed episodes 1-3 and 8-10, Susanna White directed episodes 4-6, and Benjamin Caron directed episodes 7 and 11-12. So you either need to follow the scheme above, or just go for two-episode blocks, as usual. Season 2 follows the 3-episode block strictly, with time jumps between them, so it’s probably best seen like that.

Hansy

What we do in the shadows, is such a good series. Equally as good, if not better than the movie

Josip Buretić

In my opinion it is better than the movie

LeperMessiah117

"I have the fury of my own momentum!!" - me, if they never watch Twin Peaks

m

my name sadly is wathan, but I, too, agree, there are definitely worse things to watch than wwdits

AlimonyMoney

Deadwood is the best tv series up there. It does have a lot of swearing in it. Another show that came on after Deadwood is Carviale. If you have a full day of free time, pop those two tv series on. Sherlock, which one in America there are like 3 Sherlock tv shows with different Sherlocks running at the same time.

AlimonyMoney

Cant forgot about Carnival....

AlimonyMoney

people dont do Deadwood because of the language. Every other word in that tv series is a curse word, so it would take a long time to censor it.

dudewheresmycar

I've mentioned this previously. I hope George takes note.

robodong

id be surprised if they have the time, between handling the website, editing and reacting. lets not forget S&G are just regular people who needs off time to not burn out.

robodong

id be surprised if they have the time, between handling the website, editing and reacting. lets not forget S&G are just regular people who needs off time to not burn out.

robodong

id be surprised if they have the time, between handling the website, editing and reacting. lets not forget S&G are just regular people who needs off time to not burn out.

John

For a future short tv poll. I would recommend Watchmen and Mindhunters

Bentley Grogan

will yall be doing Ballerina from the John Wick universe?

Major Peril

Here are some other possibles for your future TV short shows polls (some have already been mentioned): * Watchmen (2019) * The Queen’s Gambit (2020) * Stumptown (2019) * Constantine (2014) * Midnight Mass (2021) * The I-Land (2019) * Devs (2020) * True Detective: Night Country (Season 4) * The Night Of (2016) * The Outsider (2020) * The Terror (2018) * The Finder (2012) * The Dresden Files (2007) * The Lost Room (2006) * Flashforward (2009) * Limitless (2015) * Almost Human (2013) * Journeyman (2007) * Mare of Easttown (2021) * Masters of the Air (2024) * Foundation (2021) * Invasion (2021) * Invasion (2005) * Silo (2023) * Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023) - probably should see Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Godzilla (2014) first in keeping with the MonsterVerse timeline.

Charles

Yeah I understand that, just suggesting. At least hopefully they know that going in that is 3 episode arcs.

Andi Herr

Have they done Fleabag already? If not ... that's the one to watch!

mrchicken388

I know Simone has already watched it.

John Smith

Hmm... I've only seen one of these series (Sherlock) and that show had only one good episode (the first one).

Khan1001

Andor S1 is really solid, haven't watched S2 yet but heard its good for the most part, I'm glad SG3 didn't get too many votes, such a massive let down, they should have stopped after SG1 and left it alone.

Even if Deadwood doesn't win which looks like it wont it really deserves a watch. Ian McShane (Winston from John Wick) is absolutely the best in this performance and Timothy Olyphant (the sheriff from Justified another great show by the way) is just as good playing his counterpart .This is definitely the best western ever shown by HBO. Critically acclaimed for its take on early American capitalism ,violence, exploitation of immigrant workers and women as well as theft of land and resources of Native Americans. It is in my top three best ever Hbo shows with The Sopranos and The Wire. Please watch or add to a future list.

This was probably said elsewhere, but haven't read through all the comments. With Andor looking like the winner, you need to watch them in 3 episode blocks instead of your usual 2. Especially Season 2. The show is set up in 3 episode arcs

Hi. I’m relatively new here so I don’t know if anyone has ever mentioned Marvelous Mrs. Maisel but I’m in the mood to rewatch this show and wouldn’t mind doing it with you guys. Maybe someone knows if it’s been discussed in the past? Thanks.

Jon Johns

Holy forking shirt balls. andor?? Omgomgomgomg

Jon Johns

100% this, should make for easier YouTube edits as well!!!

Jon Johns

Bruh. Season 2 is ten times better than one!!

Jon Johns

+1 for both. (I would suggest the read the graphic no el for watchmen, since the TV series is a direct sequel, and NIT a sequel to the movie, which has a different ending

Jon Johns

I think better than movie, too.

Khan1001

Cool, I look forward to binging it shortly!

Popsmcgraw

The second season yes, but if you watch the first season in 3 episode chunks it would break up the prison arc, first season doesn't fit that very well because of the announcement episode

Tay Schumaker

Yeah I was thinking about that. You kind of have to go 3, 3, 1, 3, 2 or 3, 3, 4, 2

Kinokind

I know, right? It blows everything else on the list out of the water.

dudewheresmycar

Their schedule for Andor says 6 weeks though. If they're watching both seasons of a total of 24 episodes in 6 weeks that's 4 episodes a week, not 2.

Eric Haines

Would love to have the option of Ozark for the long series reaction poll 🙏

Scottie324

Peaky blinders is also a good shout

Markus H

"...the weeks listed in the poll is how long it will take to do 1 season."

Dirge Girl

Any interest in doing Stranger Things before and/or during the final season comin' out in November?

Lachlan Caldwell

I'm trying to vote for Sherlock, but it's not working. Other (short-ish) TV series I'd like to recommend: The Newsroom (S1: 10 episodes, S2: 9 episodes, S3: 6 episodes). One of the most intelligently written dramas I have ever seen. The Magicians: (5 seasons, 13 episodes per season). Great characters who undergo some fantastic character development as the series progresses, well written; expertly subverting common tropes, even as they dive head-first straight into them.

The Dark Unknown

omg please watch sherlock im begging you! not enough people react to it and its the best show EVER!!

The Dark Unknown

you better figure out how to make the vote work for sherlock we need those votes lol Jk but man i hope it wins. seriously though try clicking the post to open it on its own page then try voting that works for me sometimes.

Mr.Crowwave

I'm a little late to this one but gotta recommend X-Men 97 as a short but fantasticly bingeable show with 10 x 30min episodes. Definitely doesn't require you to watch the original animated series. Just watch out for episode 5

The Dark Unknown

i just hope they remember it came in second place and put it on a poll again soon personally its one of my all time fav shows

Random Nevermind

About short series. I know that chances are low. I have unusual preferences. But it is so good that I gonna suggest it anyway Agatha Christie's Miss Marple (With Joan Hickson)

SANAMDEEP

once your'e done with a short show, i really recommend watching the sopranos. it paved the way for characters like Walter White

Olli

I think they have both seen the Newsroom. It was maybe referenced in one of the other Sorkin reactions?

Justin Leone

Yeah, splitting up season 2 into 6 parts instead of 4 would feel really funky. Season 1 is a little more forgiving, though. It's probably most important to keep episodes 5+6, 9+10, and 11+12 together, so doing 2 at a time wouldn't be terrible.

Justin Leone

S1 has more moments that give me cathartic chills, but S2 has an even more ambitious and nuanced story to tell and absolutely nails it. Not sure which one I'd call better overall, but I'd lean towards the second.

Anamondaris

And Natalie Gold just proved my point😂

BellaBlue

I may be wrong..hopefully they will answer you...but pretty sure I asked this before and they said they had seen it on their own...so hopefully they will react to season 5 (note: I could be remembering an answer from another react channel..ha...which is why I hope they answer you..cuz would like their reaction as well)

Khan1001

They will do another poll for the next big show, Sopranos will be on there and should win it this time, I think it came 2nd or 3rd place last time.

Green Nolan

HBOs watchmen was SO good. Nice and short too.

BellaBlue

one of my fav shows..and yes it was supposed to have another season and they unceremoniously canceled it... quite the Uproar at the time from us who loved it but I guess the viewership wasn't that big...but of course then it became a big cult hit in the years that followed

William Snook

I wish that Deadwood got more love. What an amazing show. For very reals.

LeperMessiah117

TAKE ANOTHER LOOK SONNY, IT'S GONNA HAPPEN AGAIN!

Jon Johns

I believe they will watch it eventually. There is a lot of enthusiasm for it, maybe not so much in these polls, with this audience, but it is on their radar, for sure.... I'll keep my fingers crossed too!

Jon Johns

I agree with everyone here Sherlock (bbc / bandersnatch cumberbund + Bilbo) is great, but... Although it's "short" with *only* 3 episodes per series, they are 90 minute episodes, so, a bit misleading. I'm not discouraging it, just presenting facts! I love it, I want them to watch it!

Jon Johns

+1 for Ozark on long series poll!

Jon Johns

My fave McShane role, (other than swear-gin) is as the step-dad in "HotRod" 😂

Jon Johns

I feel, Justin, Season one *gains* more value after finishing season two, somehow. The series is so layered, you can enjoy it superficially, but also enjoy the depth, call backs, character development, etc, once the entire canvas is revealed. But, I'm biased, and have seen it 5 times at least, plus several reaction videos. So many reactors catch things i missed, and theorize stuff I couldn't. 🤷🏻 It's a great show.

Jon Johns

I think George would either Lol, or ick Fleabag. He's so complex and persnickety, I can never get a read on him. I love that part of watching them. He's like a box of chocolates!

Jon Johns

As it is a direct sequel to the graphic novel, not the film, I hope they'd read it before watching! It's so good though! (And timely?)

Andi Herr

I think he'd love it. He appreciates good writing and acting and Fleabag is full of both.

John Collins

I recommend the netflix original american vandal very easy watch

Tall Paul

White Lotus would be fun

luckyopening

Because season 2 is coming out soon I would love to recommend "Peacemaker"
