Desperado 🙏🙏🙏😬

Patrick

Oh god, I always forget about *that* portion of You Only Live Twice.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

“Hellraiser” will be a hoot! “You opened the box and we…” Uh, actually I won’t finish that quote now I think of the final word lol. “Andor” is also awesome for sure. Stellar week ahead dudes 🤙🏻

TheLeftPecOfTheLord

I’m fairly new here so can someone explain to me how new videos and movies are chosen? I thought movies that come second are watched the week after the poll winner cause Superman came second with 1000 votes

Daniel VanDusen

I hope you guys do a few of the Hellraiser's. The first one is good but they really get into it in the later movies.

Cameron_1

Smile movie please

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

The second one is up there for personal top 10 horror flicks, yes sir

Roy A

Hey everyone. I have a BUNCH of recommendations. A few of them I posted last month in General. I'm posting them again here because the latest intro video said this was the best place to do so. I appreciate you taking a look and you would make my day by reacting to any one of these. More Adam Sandler: Mr Deeds (2002) Little Nicky (2000) More Chris Farley: Black Sheep (1996) - Not a sequel to Tommy Boy, but it does star Chris Farley and David Spade. Almost Heroes (1998) - This is the last movie Chris Farley starred in. It came out 5 months after he died. It also stars Matthew Perry. Some R-Rated Stoner Comedies: Knocked Up (2007) - Starring Seth Rogen. It also has a bunch of people you'll recognize like Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, and Ken Jeong in his first big film role. Grandma's Boy (2006) - An underrated comedy starring all of Adam Sandler's friends. The Pick of Destiny (2006) - A stoner, rock opera starring Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D. R-Rated Comedies: Not Another Teen Movie (2001) - A parody of 80s and 90s films, like Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Varsity Blues, 10 Things I Hate About You, She's All That, and many others. It stars Chris Evans (Captain America) who you will not see the same way again. BASEketball (1998) - Starring Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the guys behind South Park and Team America World Police. Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) - Starring Jason Segel, Mila Kunis, and Kristen Bell Role Models (2008) - Starring Paul Rudd, Seann William Scott, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin) Dirty Work (1998) - Starring Norm McDonald Action/Thriller: The Town (2010) - Starring Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner Running Scared (2006) - A criminally underrated Paul Walker film. The Accountant (2016) - Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick, Jon Bernthal Sci-Fi/Thriller: The Butterfly Effect (2004) - Starring Ashton Kutcher Frequency (2000) - Starring Jim Caviezel and Dennis Quaid Sci-Fi/Romance: Forever Young (1992) - Starring Mel Gibson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Elijah Wood

Jef Etters

Looking forward to Andor. Hoping for Obi-Wan at some point.

IR4TE

Im excited for Hellraiser, I'm sure Simone loves it. :D

Ginger

Great week <3

Śéáń

You might get some suggestions about the story structure of Andor and your double episode watch pattern, but it actually works out really well, especially in the latter half of the season (I do think the first three episodes should ideally be seen in one go, as it was broadcast, but it's not crucial, stick to the 2 episode schedule as it will have payoff as the series progresses) I've just finished my 3rd watchthrough, this time with the other half, but I'm very keen on a 4th.

Stu84

2nd one is a must. 3 and 4 if you want some lore behind the franchise. Anything after that is trash.

SJB

Ah yes, Sean Connery's range: Scottish Russian submarine commander Scottish Irish cop Scottish English spy Scottish Spanish swordsman Scottish American Biblical scholar/archaeologist Scottish Greek King Scottish Japanese fisherman.

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Haven’t tried the 2 ep pattern but however it’s watched I’m down. Said this in the “Michael Clayton” reaction already that Tony Gilroy’s an under-appreciated writer but if you know his best work it’s pretty fortunate. The dude’s exceptional with a monologue and a funny, humble guy too

Mastervodo

Bunch of great content next week!

Matt

I'd recommend watching Andor 3 episodes at a time, each set of 3 is sort of chapters especially the second season

Chris DeLuca

I'll see you guys in two weeks I guess

Śéáń

I'm just getting overcautious as I'm aware how Star Wars fandomers can be, speaking as one myself, especially with this show..! Tony Gilroy is indeed one of the greats, his interview with a revolutionary historian on Jon Stewart's podcast the other week was very interesting

Richard

Hellraiser nice

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Oh awesome! I’ll have to check that out, especially since he used Haitian and Russian Revolution as inspirations for parts of both seasons in terms of the structure of events by the Rebellion. Would love to see his expanded take on the subject. Thanks for letting me know man ☺️👊

davidov

Loving the pacing of the Bond movies, can't wait for YOLT! Slowly but steadily the 60's and Connery will come to an end in the next 3.

jmundt33a

The Bond film written by Roald Dahl.

dudewheresmycar

I'm gonna assume from the poll that suggests a 6 weeks watch period, that means 2 episodes a week of season 1 only? And then take a break to do something else?

Śéáń

The usual schedule is 2 episodes per week, go to a different show for a season, then back to the next season of this. They alternate between a long show and a short show, so there may be a liner multi-season show started to interlace with Andor's 2, or maybe a single season show between Andor 1 and 2

FWPJR.

I’m looking forward to the Hellraiser reaction, I can’t wait to see Simones reactions throughout the entire movie. Her reactions to horror movies are the best lol

robodong

whats wrong with Brave?

Mr. Writhms

That particular snapshot you posted of Connery in "You Only Live Twice"-- 💀😂

robodong

from what theyve explained before it usually is watched the week after which means it goes out the week after that. they dont just watch something and publish it on patreon right away, when you see a movie on these 'coming next week' posts, they already watched it the week before. because it takes time to edit and let copyright algorithm to scan the videos, and then re-edit if they need to. so if they are watching Superman next week, then it will be on patreon the week after.

robodong

didnt they already said in the last BCS video that they will do 3 episodes for Andor becuase everyone is telling them to? they put 6 weeks in the poll because that happened before people told them to do 3 episodes instead of 2.

TheLeftPecOfTheLord

Oh okay, so for something in this post like You Only Live Twice, they would’ve already watched it by now

Śéáń

Ah okay, I've not yet caught up on the final BCS I think people misremember the 3 episode thing, there's only three trio episodes in season one's 12 episodes, while season 2 is more rigidly sets of 3. Watching S1 in sets of three will still break up two of the mini-arcs as there's an episode in between the first two that acts as a bridge between a pair of them, which is why I think two-episode viewings actually pairs up better in the latter half of the season BUT, overall it doesn't matter that much. The show is still great and doesn't hinge on any kind of viewing pattern as long as the episodes are watched in order 😅

Kenneth Boone

This is going to be a good week.

Cinebinge

Hi there, jumping in to clarify. Yes you are correct, if a movie is on these weekly announcements, its already watched and either in queue to be edited, or has already been edited and is just 'marinading' in the studio/youtube copyright scans as that can take some time to either accept or reject, which will require further editing. This also gives us some buffer room for emergencies, the only exception is the poll winner. Poll winners are watched the upcoming Monday, so Hellraiser in this case is the only film we havent watched yet since the poll only just concluded.

dudewheresmycar

I should say when the poll was posted, iI made the assumption they were doing all 24 episodes in 6 weeks. My reaction was all "Woah slow down there!"🤦‍♂️

FranciscoGios

Great week! The Andor series was televised with every 3 new episodes of story arcs which means every episode is tide to the next two and so on. I wouldn't mind if you guys watch it one episode at a time, because it brings in discussions and probably expectations.

Roy A

Hey fellow Cinebingers! I was going to recommend "Canadian Bacon", the 1995 John Candy film, but it's been a long time since I watched it. I can't say with any certainty that it's a good movie worth George and Simone reacting to. Can anyone who's more familiar with it say it's worth recommending? Or does anyone know if they've already watched it before?

Random Nevermind

No. Really thanks. I like it very much. Expect a nice reaction video. And also I've recommended it a month ago. So it is a genuine

beefjerkywizard

It's been awhile for me too but in my opinion if we are picking John Candy movies I would like to see Uncle Buck....or both. There can never be enough John Candy

JoshG

I’m really hoping the next show after andor is stranger things!

maikeru

I suggest Fatal Attraction (1987), War of the Roses (1989) and Unfaithful (2002)

Connor

Glad to see Hellraiser got it, I figured but there were some heavy hitters man

robodong

ah haha i read it in the tone of "thanks alot obama"

Scott CineRam

Andor. Awesomesauce! (Do people still say that?)

Stefan Daniw

Can’t wait to see George’s reaction to you only live twice

BoredLittleLady

I’m so happy to see a Pixar movie in here. Brave is awesome!

Mike W

Pretty good week for me 😃. If you're after something a bit different for a new TV show to watch I recommend Bones.

Darren Harrison

Be prepared to notice several instances where the Austin Powers series got its inspiration in “You Only Live Twice”.

BoredLittleLady

90s Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek? Yes, please!

Opti_Frog

What's your pleasure, sir?

Greg Johanson

That screen garb is from hellraiser 3 not 1. I hope someone got fired for that blunder

Major Peril

Andor, Brave, Hellraiser and more Connery Bond. Great week incoming!

dasgrove

Star Wars and Star Trek - doing the nerd most out here. Love it!

maikeru

😬😅

Khan1001

No Superman 1978? :(

Spacedone

I'm already imagining what George's laughter will be like at seeing that part of You Only Live Twice. Aged well, it has not.

Spacedone

Also a certain Simpsons episode.

Mike W

How about a good old fashioned disaster movie. Thinking the original Poseidon Adventure or Towering Inferno

Xavier Casanova

Let's hope you like Hellraiser or the comment section will TEAR YOUR SOUL APART! (not really)

Matthew Johnson

I cannot wait for the Hellraiser reaction! To whom must I pray in order to get George and Simone to react to Being John Malkovich? What God will answer

Garrett Mazzuca

Can't wait for the Andor reaction! I would also recommend adding 28 Years Later to the list. Just came out on streaming and one of the best movies of the year imo (if a little unorthodox lol).

Garrett Mazzuca

The poll was soooo close. I would be surprised if it didn't end up on the shortlist of upcoming reactions.

Mike W

Yeah, The day after tomorrow would be a good one. saw it recently and thought it held up quite well.

sarCC

Yay! This looks like a really fun week! What a relief.

Ari Ramirez

WE HAVE SUCH SIGHTS TO SHOW YOU

jmundt33a

Fatal Attraction and its clones The Temp, Swimfan, and Obsessed are all curiosities of one sort or another, possibly worth watching.

jmundt33a

Uncle Buck and Great Outdoors

Zero Cochrane

“We’ll tear your soul apart!”

Zero Cochrane

“Demons to some, angels to others.”

Cameron Cross

Joining for Andor!!! Can't wait to see how George responds to watching so many competent people doing competent things :)

maikeru

Adrian Lyne is the king of "relationships gone wrong" films, they‘re not bad for the most part.

Nathan Jasper

Brave is so good and so underappreciated

StonyD

Don't care about Hellraiser or And/or. But everything else looks awesome

StonyD

Didn't they say recently that they want everyone to rage and get upset about movies? Aren't we supposed to be cursing and throwing things? Wait let me check the video...

StonyD

Judging by the screenshot they used I think they noticed 😆

Max Carter

I'm not even really a big star wars guy but Andor is legit fantastic and relevant television. Every aspect of the show is high quality. Hellraiser is just a bloody awesome movie, think you guys will enjoy it. Brave is ok but kinda mid Pixar You only live Twice is bad

nossieboy

I like the first 4 Hellraisers The first two are fantastic

Stanley Etienne

Can't wait for next week's reactions, especially Hellraiser, and Andor.

Chase Lonnergan

4/5 that I'm gonna love. An excellent week.

Jpsynergy

Excited for Andor, my favorite Star Wars thing ever made. It's brilliant.

Fattydoe

Hellraiser is classic horror. One of the greats!!! Only really liked first and second though.

Jacob King

I think the title puts people off. If you know the movie it’s obviously a perfect reaction film; A-list cast, brilliant Oscar nominated script, best comedy of the year 2000, Charlie Sheen and a chimp! It’s just Malkovich’s name makes it seem like it must be an artsy/intellectual piece. There’s a good reaction on The Coby Show channel.

droodly

I'm going along the old Bond journey with you guys, so haven't seen this one. Sean Connery looks so weird in this picture! Is he a Vulcan in this one?

Saifu

Can't wait until Tuesday. Can't wait for some Peak Star Wars reactions!

Philipp Roensch

Let's just say this wouldn't fly today XD.

Ballsac McGee

superman 2025 is going to be on digital later this month. you should check out James Gunn's the suicide squad from 2021 and then maybe do peacemaker for one of your short shows.

SANAMDEEP

once done with andor, seriously recommend watching The Sopranos

DonkyDave

Given what a big time investment the long TV series are, it would be cool if you did a big poll to create a shortlist that people could then vote on

Matt O'Keefe

When might we get your Superman reaction since it tied with Gangs of New York?

Robert Finlay

That isn't Sean Connery it's a Japanese man.

Khan1001

Yes, it would be nice to get an ETA on that?, also Superman 2025 will be available soon so it would be nice if you watched Superman 78 first.

Khan1001

Sopranos is a MUST watch, I wouldn't even bother doing a poll and just go ahead and watch it as your next big show.

droodly

If it followed the usual pattern it should have been on next weeks announcements, but wasn't. I'm hoping it's just a scheduling thing and will maybe be the week after? Seems silly to ignore a near tie where both movies had over 1000 votes.

SANAMDEEP

it's definitely about time they should do it lol considering they love breaking bad

Andrew Howard

Looking forward to Andor. Everything else too, but especially that.

James Lawson

FINALLY Brave! I can't wait for this one. It's one of my favourites but seems to be often forgotten about.

Matt Blanchette

...oh boy, "You Only Live Twice". Oh, boy.

gfixler

Bond looks very Vulcan in that pic, except for the smile.
