Keep your expectations through the roof. It will satisfy them.

scott melton

The first half of the season is good, but maybe a bit slow. The second half is off-the-charts great.

Spacedone

Getting so distracted by that adorable little murder floof.

Robban6948

SIMONE! Who is that void-baby!? Cutest kitten ever!

beefjerkywizard

The Andor/Stranger Things lasagna has been the perfect combo... Or is it more of a sandwich?

Jeff K.

Yes, Ben Mendelsohn is the same guy from Ready Player One. (And he’s actually an Aussie.)

gfixler

OMG, did Simone's cat shrink?

gfixler

I'm excited, because I don't remember any of this. I think I never watched season 2!

Jacob

It's the music that changes every opening, not the visuals.

mojo shivers

The recognition that Cassian actually landed on Yavin 4 during S2E1 and E2 was a good payoff for the end of that second episode. I was hoping you guys would notice and react more. It was a very aha moment when I saw if the first time.

Jon

not noticing the opening is different? The music changes to match tone of episodes...need to watch videos where they sync up the music for the opening in each arc together. Normal TIE fighters don't have FTL, only special models. I still can't believe that Andor is Kleya's first film role. She hangs right in there with some great performances from spectacular actors! Gilroy said that people had a harsher reaction to Perin than he had planned, I think that shows in Season 2. The Mask of Fear book give a view of their dynamic that I think Gilroy was going for from the beginning. Brasso was the GOAT

Spacedone

Well done for picking up on Perrin noticing something was wrong with Mon as she throws herself into dancing, performing as she's expected to disguise how she's feeling. He's the only one there who knows her well enough to see through it. Just before Luthen and Mon are talking about Tay and how he's going off the rails and putting them at risk. Luthen: "You need to be protected." Mon: "I'm not sure what you are saying." Luthen: (brief pause) "How nice for you." That last line from Luthen is stone cold and a callback to his speech last season about how he's burning his decency for the Rebellion. Despite her protestation, Mon know exactly what he's talking about and can't disagree with his decision no matter how much she wants to.

Spacedone

Also, there's a S1 supercut of the opening title music where they are layered on top of each other to form a more complex themes.

WayneC

Regarding erratic flying being hard to target, I recall an RAF Battle of Britain pilot saying that the pilots that flew smoothly were often the easiest for the Germans to shoot down.

Joe Concepts

What is it about the 1950s-style PR film / newsreel that's so entertaining? All kinds of shows and movies love to recreate the feel of those. I think part of it is the very earnest and excited narrator talking about boring things. The Simpsons is great for those. "Imagine living in a world without zinc!"

Joe Concepts

"How nice for you." What a sentence.

Forsythe

Regular TIE fighters don't have lightspeed nor do they have shields or oxygen. TIE pilots are in the cheapest ship the Empire could make, where the pilots always have to wear their space suits & space helmets & be pumped with oxygen while flying. Cassian stole a prototype ship that had shields, lightspeed, and environmental settings in the cockpit.

CT

They're not going to recognize it even when it's fully operational. They didn't recognize Ben Mendelsohn. They're very casual Star Wars fans, and that's fine.

mojo shivers

Yeah, but I was hoping it would spark some kind of recognition.

Scott CineRam

"Pasty white elbowy sex"...I really didn't need to hear that.

2026-09-05 05:00 Did they realize that Krennic was the main antagonist from Rogue One? If they said anything about it I missed it.

Jon Johns

Jon, was that experimental tie featured in some other SW property? A comic, or animated series? Maybe a video game? I have read some comics, watched several shows, played games, but cannot recall where I've seen that ship, or any lore behind it.

Jon Johns

D.T. was he not in an ensemble cast family-based murder mystery show? I think I watched several episodes back in the day, but have forgotten almost everything about it. (Bloodline?)

Jon Johns

best crash out ever.

Jon Johns

I hope I see more from the Brasso actor, he is amazing.

Jon Johns

Gary, Season two has a string of some of the highest rated TV episodes of all time, not just Star wars TV shows. I'm excited to hear your thoughts as the season progresses!

Jon Johns

Gary, I'm a totally casual Cinebinge watcher. I did notice a picture on the wall behind Simone, and I recognize it, but I don't know if Simone ever talks about her decor in full lengths? Why did she choose that image?

Jon Johns

It's a popover pastry?

Jon Johns

Reminds me of that old Eastwood chestnut "Firefox" 🤣

Jon Johns

My impatience knows no bounds. 🤣

Chris Foster

Tie Avenger from the Expanded Universe lore. Basically a Tie Interceptor on steroids

Forsythe

Not sure. The one in Andor was a TIE Avenger prototype. From a Reddit post, apparently is was one of the EU non-canon (Legends) variants of the TIE Fighter that was finally canonized via being in a live-action SW property. In SW Rebels, a similar prototype TIE that was stolen was the TIE Defender. Wikipedia tells me the TIE Avenger was in the video game "Star Wars: TIE Fighter" as a player-controllable craft.

Cartoons ReAct

No, they didn't notice as last time they saw Rogue One was some time ago...they did notice is the same actor from Ready Player One

Cartoons ReAct

In case nobody noticed, the end of Episode 2 shows that the planet is Yavin 4 which becomes the rebel base for the original movie and is based on my country...which we all love here

Jeff K.

You were hoping to see it instead, right?

Patrick

Vader flew a TIE Advanced, which was less pointy than the TIE Interceptor in that scene.

gfixler

I can't handle this much excitement!

gfixler

I have no idea. Simone is an enigma.

RogueRN

Yeah, I was kinda surprised/disappointed they didn’t have a reaction to that.

Jeff K.

Out of curiosity, which country? The pyramids at the end certainly seem Aztec or Incan or Mayan in inspiration so obviously Central or South American but never knew it was based on a single country.

Cartoons ReAct

Mayans, Guatemala...is Tikal and I think the specific one they show is Temple 4

RogueRN

Also, if you listen through the credits of the last episode of S2 the music changes :)

Jeff K.

Brasso was the definition of a real one. Always putting people ahead of himself. Doesn't ask questions, plows right ahead going along with plans to protect them, including taking the initiative to performatively get angry with Kellen in order to protect him from retribution. Brasso was, quite simply, too damn good for this world.

Smooticus

I was about to mention episode 201 being a take on the Wansee Conference. Conspiracy is an excellent production and goes well with Zone of Interest

Smooticus

I wasn't surprised Dedra and Syril were knocking boots. I just figured they'd be doing it in the guest room of his mom's condo

Vez

Tay Koma has not switched sides, at least not yet. Though the implication that he could be a threat is there. He's just looking for a bribe: "You can see how I'd feel... undervalued." It's a shakedown. He just wants some money and he'll keep keeping quiet. He doesn't really know that he's also dealing with Luthen nor how ruthless Luthen is.

Vez

Also, Tay never lent Mon Mothma money. Davos Sculdun gave Mon Mothma money in exchange for the marriage. Tay only facilitated it. Everyone is happy but Tay whose investments and marriage have gone belly up. He's looking to get something for himself out of it.

ShōNuff3K

Got it — here’s a clean list of characters and their titles/groups in Andor Season 2 up through Episode 3: Cassian Andor — Rebel operative (Axis network) Bix Caleen — Local rebel sympathizer Brasso — Local rebel collaborator Wilmon Paak — Local rebel collaborator Mon Mothma — Senator / secret rebel backer Luthen Rael — Rebel spymaster (Axis network leader) Kleya Marki — Rebel network associate Dedra Meero — ISB Supervisor Syril Karn — Former Pre-Mor officer / Imperial functionary Tay Kolma — Banker / political fixer

Joe Stacey

One correctly pronounced Dedra and I thought, "Yes, we've got it!". And then back to Deedra and, "Ugh, no we don't."

RogueRN

A few visual/filming things that I didn’t see mentioned that I thought were interesting: 1) the shot of Mon at the beginning of E1 when she’s walking and greeting guests, it’s one long tracking shot. 2) during the wedding ceremony when Leida is getting her braid cut off, the knife lines up across Mon’s throat in the background

Chris

I've never thought that it's so much that Mon looks sad during the dancing scene--it's that she doesn't look in control. And if there's anything she is at all other times, it's controlled. Seems like it was less recognizable to you two--but I sure know a lot of people for whom that mother-in-law is awfully familiar (mostly from the standpoint of that person being their own mother)...

Shibby

They watch an incredible amount of tv and movies they can't be expected to keep track of everyone

beefjerkywizard

Love your country. Visiting Tikal was such an awesome experience and Semuc Champey is still one of the most beautiful places I've been to

Kelly Pickard

Tay didn't lend Mon any money—she still had plenty of money with which to fund the rebellion, but she needed help channeling and disguising those funds so as to prevent Imperial scrutiny. Tay helped with that, primarily by bringing Sculdun into the fold. The trouble is that Mon assumed this was a favor from a friend, while Tay increasingly felt like he deserved a bribe.

Kelly Pickard

This—just made a separate comment to that effect. It was all Mon's fortune going to the rebellion, but Tay helped cover it up so she wouldn't draw Imperial suspicion. Now he's looking for a bribe for his trouble.

mojo shivers

How dare you call her Comms Girl?! Lol Her name is Kleya and she’s right next to Luthen Rael in terms of forefathers of the Rebellion. She’s also probably my favorite secondary character, especially in Season 2. I’m appalled. Lol

Justin Leone

Most basic TIE fighters don't have hyperdrives (or shields, or missiles/torpedoes), because they are designed to be cheap, expendable swarms that get deployed from capital ships. What Andor steals is a prototype TIE Avenger, similar to the TIE Advanced that Vader flies in A New Hope, which has all the amenities one could want, like being able to travel between systems autonomously, take down targets larger than another starfighter, and not explode the instant it comes into glancing contact with another object.

Basil Hazzard

The 'changing' opening cedits is a change to the music every time and slight changes to the speed. Also, the planet that Cassian lands on with the prototype TIE Avenger/silencer and all the rebels start fighting each other is actually Yavin 4, the future rebel base. You can see the pyramids at the end when Cassian is flying away.

Jobbe Smit

The dance music of an upper class wedding as our characters all feel loss in service of the rebellion against the fascist regime in the background, man I love the third episode. Also cute kitten, what's the monthly fee to adopt them?

Jobbe Smit

I know you don't mean it literally but they definitely feel like the people that would refuse to go barefoot during sex.

Jobbe Smit

He gets the best lines and despite needing to be fed lines these days Skarsgard can deliver them.

Jpsynergy

The imperial meeting was definitely giving me Final Solution vibes. Also in regards to aliens and humans, at least on the imperial side there was definitely a xenophobic slant that the Emperor didn't discourage. Many non human species that might join the rebellion are severely oppressed under such a regime, fighting their own personal rebellions like Nemik said, moving the battle lines forward. Just look at Kashyyk where the wookies faced the permanent occupation of their home and enslavement. They mentioned in an earlier episode cutting off shipping to certain planets, leading to mass starvation. Also the weird torture genocide audio. Seems like there was a lot more aliens with Saw Gerrera's guerilla group so it's also the rebellion still coming together. Not a Star Wars expert but it might explain some of it at this point in time.

DarthFatass

Loved how George remembered Krennic played by same actor that was killed by Bane! But they did realize him from Rogue One.

Jpsynergy

I know I love her so much. A true hero of the rebellion.

Oh, we are talking about Kaldra Compleat, are we? I hope you have ways to both tutor into play and equip for free :D. I always found protection from color is already better and does not even care about blockers, but hey, that is where the personalization comes in. In my equipment Deck: Sanctuary Blade, several "Sword of ... and ..." and of course, Mithril Coat. My Commander is Akiri, Line-Slinger (and Tymna the Weaver), Akiri does not need the equipment to buff Strength. Anyway, Andor. A good start, explosive in the first episode even. The bickering mercs in the jungle were a bit of a screeching halt for me, though, slower than that tense wedding. I guess we have to see the missing unity still, but man does it drag. I believe also a good reason for Tay to leave the investing behind was, Mon basically refuted him, you can tell he loved her for quite a while. The standoff between Dedra and Mom was delicious, though. The boy groom is a robot, huh? Seems less human than the droids. Very cool showdown, a bloody harvest indeed.

They soon understand. My favourite character she is

Two quick things, I just noticed the picture on the wall next to Simone, wondering if that's supposed to be Simone or Gwyneth Paltrow from The Royal Tenebaums because that's maybe still my favorite Wes Anderson movie and I've been hoping for a reaction since at least Grand Budapest. And Sagrona Teema, just about to watch the episode but the name made me laugh because it's sounds so much like the word "sangrona" which is Mexican and/or Spanish slang for "asshole" as in a shitty mean person (female in this case), and of course I thought of Dedra, even though that's obviously someone or something else I'm about to find out, it was just really funny to me.

s0rd3z

KITTEN!! 😍

James W.

One of my favorite things about this show is that it shows that the Rebellion wasn't just scrappy underdogs destined for righteous victory. There were factions within factions, and lots of them harbor old resentments. Saw Guerra is the personification of that, especially if you layer in his backstory, but he is hardly unique. In Rogue One you meet the Rebel Leadership that is so divided, and they come off very annoying but also that is 100% how it is in real life; no movement or ideology is truly monolithic and moving in lockstep. It is sinister how the Empire is casually planning planetary subjugation and genocide over apps and 'zerts but that same disconnectedness is their weakness. Cass calls it out in season 1, they are overconfident and complacent, and it is their undoing.

FranciscoGios

TIE (Twin Ion Engines) Fighter. The one Cassian flies is a prototype from the TIE fighter X1, the ship that Lord Vader flies in A New Hope. They both have Lightspeed, powerful laser canons, and advanced shields, the only difference the one Vader survives is shape like a TIE Bomber with the Wings going inwards; plus its Hull is big because Lord Vader won’t fit inside a regular TIE Fighter.

Robert Evans

Watch ‘Conspiracy’ on HBO and you’ll see the historical analog

Robert Evans

I’m surprised George did see the parallel to the Wannasee Conference. It’ll NEVER win a poll but they should watch CONSPIRACY the most gripping room of speaking men since 12 Angry Men

Chris

I’ll just say that, for me, the Yavin stuff in these episodes is by far the weakest part of the entire 2 seasons. Up from here.

Lex Kuzma

Yeah, Simone, we need you to do a little video introduction of the kitten!

Joe Sener

Came to post this. For my brief stent as a high school social studies teacher I had two days dedicated to watching it, for underlining the banality of evil and how bureaucracy makes atrocities easy.

The Real Andrew Kim

For me season 2 is just crazy how prescient it is with all the current events happening, especially in the US. Everything from the ICE raids, to the abuse of power to even Dedra and Syril's relationships are so much allegory for things happening right now. I believe the Dedra and Syril characters are there purely to highlight how people's backgrounds and upbringings highlight their right-wing authoritarian fascist behaviors, and why they are into an imperial society. They follow the rules to the T and have an enormous amount of self-entitlement and a thirst for power to rule over others. Simone hit it on the head with the cycle of violence and it's not subtle how that kind of behavior appeals to people who are okay casually plotting genocides....I mean in Star Wars and other fiction, it's easy to just paint a bad guy as evil, but those characters at least humanize their behaviors and as much as we hate their choices and disagree with their actions, it at least is understandable how a human can make such choices given the circumstances of their backgrounds and those around them.

Logan Kerlee

Shatterstorm is my answer to your artifact deck Simone! :P

John Miller

When people say the opening is different, they mean the music.

John Miller

It actually makes more sense that the Empire would put tons of money into their Imperial Kinderblocks. After all, orphaned children would be the easiest to basically brainwash into being good Imperials.

John Miller

Just so you know, the date at the beginning works like this. BBY is the year. It stands for, Before the Battle of Yavin. The Battle of Yavin is the first Star Wars movie. So BBY 4 means they are 4 years or less, until the events of Star Wars, and, of course, Rogue One.

Simon Pegged Me

Exactly REDR58. The absence of alien life forms in imperial ranks is intentional. They are considered inferior species in the empire. Except for the citizens of the Chiss Ascendancy, no aliens are allowed to join the ruling/leadership class. It's another Nazi parallel.

Simon Pegged Me

Yep, he's looking for a finder's fee from bringing all the parties together.

Simon Pegged Me

Jon Johns, Firefox (1982) came to my mind, too, during the TIE fighter heist, especially when the tech specialist asks Cassian if it would be worth it if she dies. Several characters in Firefox ask Clint Eastwood's pilot character the same thing before sacrificing themselves, "Can you do it? Can you really fly this thing?" Those are the most poignant moments of the film.

Simon Pegged Me

I'm in the minority. Although I love Season 2, I still think Season 1 is better. Watching it over with you reinforced that opinion. I'm excited to hear what you think once you've seen them both. Also, I hope Kellen or someone ships Brasso's body back to Ferrix. His ashes deserve to be made into a funereal stone and placed on a wall in the Fountain Square.

CT

My first thought on seeing the picture was "Does Simone know what movie that's from, or is this like the Chet Baker poster?" Would love a Royal Tenenbaums reaction, as well.

Ruben VL

Yeah, I went into this remembering this was the weakest part of this season. Still episode 3 is still really good though and brings the level up a notch.

MacGuffinStuff

Yeah she must know it's from the Royal Tenebaums because I just saw they posted a picture of Simone on Instagram and above that painting is one of Luke Wilson.

JFC

I didn't notice until my season 1 rewatch that the same song appears in other episodes, in different forms. Having it come back at the wedding as a dance remix is just another example of the fantastic world-building Andor does better than any other Star Wars series.

John Prichard

Came to post this too! Conspiracy is such a touchstone for this episode, this is an Imperial version of Wanasee. I'd love to see their reactions.

Justin Leone

Season 1 has more in the way of brilliantly cathartic monologues, but Season 2 tells a more ambitious and creatively structured story that's highly relevant to the real world. I'm not sure which I prefer overall, but Season 1 probably has more re-watchable moments.

Robert Evans

I stumbled on to "Conspiracy' 2018 or so, started it because I was bored, got totally pulled in, watched it again a week later, and then again a month later when I showed it to two friends. It's an astounding piece of cinema. And if you blink you'll Tom Hiddleston.

Jpsynergy

That's the movie I was thinking of. It's a pretty gross movie but shows that very well. Maybe we'll get a reaction to it some day.

Godrick

George is noticing that theres a lot less aliens after the empire takes over.. thats not an accident 😅 you'll see more aliens in the outer rim and poor planets post empire. Space Nazis, remember? Thats also why you'll see more of them all bunched up in one place, or apart of the rebellion after the rebellion becomes more organized and capable of recruiting.

Jpsynergy

That's what I thought too. Thanks. Just makes the Space Gestapo analogy even more accurate

Jaaahn

i get your point but i think he was talking about aliens in the story.

Jay Davis

Did they not recognize Director Krennic? Did they not recognize Yavin?? Did I miss the post that introduced the new kitten??? AAAHHH!!! I'm so cornfused!

Terdell Ferguson

BBY4 - 4 Years Before the Battle of Yavin - Rebel base in Rogue One and the original Star Wars Film (Episode IV). The scene at the end reveals the place from where Cassian was escaping to be Yavin IV. The temples/pyramids give it away, and it's a great reveal right at the end there.

Godrick

But.. that is my point. The story takes place in the Core worlds high society, in the empire, or in a young rebellion. Youre not going to see much of any aliens at all

Jaaahn

well not exactly. most of the planets rebel characters go to, or could go to couldve had alien species as characters. these arent historical events where they have to use actual places to depict events. the writers couldve written them anywhere. the tribe for the eye couldve been non humanoid. if bix was a Twi'lek nothing would've changed. her work for luthen was all hidden and out of site, her job was at the back of a shop. dedras torture wouldve been the same, and an alien working on a remote farm world wouldnt be that odd.

Pace Picante

Really loving this feature where we no longer need our own copy. Pretty awesome to not have to sync up with ya'll.

Godrick

Given Andor is a SPY i dont see why the writers would have to bend over to put him in places outside of the empire, and if youve seen the end of the show youd know it absolutely would change things if bix wasn't human. Besides, there were aliens on ferrix.

Jaaahn

the empire isnt homogenous as much as they want to be. youre treating this like as if its a representation of real historical events. its made up, the story couldve been anything with any character, and a LOT of the characters in the various crews didnt need to be human or humanoid. the fringe world settlements, farmers, miners, those couldve absolutely been another species. and the fact that you think the end of the show means Bix cant be anything but human shows how little you know of the overall star wars universe. look up the character Jacen Syndulla.

Jaaahn

the eye episode couldve been any planet with any native people. its a made up thing just for the plot to move forward, literally couldve been any species. the crew on that heist had some infiltrate the compound but also had people on the outside in hiding, those couldve been other species, further justifying their inability to infiltrate. what you think Luthen the ruthless rebel would do anything except work with aliens? get real. its already in character that he would absolutely work with rebels of any kind. the Maya Pei Brigade overall led to nothing, so the small arch of the gang killing eachother couldve been any species.

Godrick

I really think you're taking the diversity quota way too seriously, and youre borderline gatekeeping star wars rn. Saying "shows how little you know" is edging on insulting, and is absolutely unnecessary for this conversation. Especially since your reasoning is to list the ONLY cross species character known in cannon star wars rn. Youre gettin kind of worked up and a bit aggressive over a decisions I had nothing to do with. All ive done is merely point out the reasoning for there being few aliens. Its just the setting of the show, and any inclusion of aliens wouldve needed to be pigeon holed (like to the crew of Saw Gurrera or the rebel base) or worked around- and thats all still true.

Jaaahn

first of all, diversity quota? on fictional species? goosestepping a little too hard over there i think. secondly, im only responding to your initial non sense and misunderstanding of the question George asked. thirdly, he is FAAAR from the only hybrid in canon, thats literally the term used for a whole host of characters. but most importantly, what i am trying to point to you is the reasoning you gave is dumb. "theres no aliens because the settings", and who said those settings had to be it? its still a writer that chose those. lastly. there is no sadder retreat to the losing side of a conversation than the appeal to emotion you are doing.

Marty McGee

Yeah. Specifically you hear them all shout "Niamos!" Niamos was the planet Cassian was on when he was arrested and sent to Narkina 5. That song is playing during those scenes on Niamos.

Christopher Runyon

Yes he was in Bloodline. The first season I thought was solid enough but quickly went downhill after.

Christopher Runyon

The hilarious scene with Syril on the bed was not scripted. The actor said he did it because that what he would do if he was in that situation.

Thall

CAlling Empire tech "bad" is pretty mean, considering the thing still flew after Cassian rammed it into multiple walls, got it shot, ran it into more walls, into a weakened blast door and into snow!

Kelly Pickard

So, Simone idk if you play standard or commander (i hate commander) but look for a card hoarding dragon for your artifacts it's a 4/4 flying dragon 2Mnts3Clrs that when summoned you get to rifle thru deck and pick an artifact set said artifact away. when hoarding dragon dies or removed put artifact directly into owners hand. should also be pretty cheap as it has appeared in various core releases. I use four of them in my main red/green deck that I've been playing with since 1993. here is a link to the card image/ https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/large/front/5/c/5c6cd59a-f184-4e8e-885e-36fbceddfc06.jpg?1562849386

so the Jungle planet was Yavin 4, home to the rebel base in ep iv a new hope. this planet has a dark history in legends. It was first colonized by Sith lords thousands of years ago the flora and fauna were changed using dark side alchemy and many other dark sorceries have occurred throughout the millennia here. The dark side corrupts and stain locations where dark rituals have been performed. This is no doubt why the group of rebels turned on one another after only a few days, incompetence a fear definitely accelerated this but remember the dark side feeds fear. We even see Andor start acting without mercy and cold though to be fair this is part of his character, but it seems easier here for some reason.

Turnt SNACO

I agree, I think Season 1 is overall paced and flows a lot better. Some of the highs in Season 2 are some of the best parts of the entire show, but I also feel like it contains the weakest points of the show, so it's a little more all over the place in quality and pacing. And where Season 1 is definitely a Star Wars show that showed the Empire being awful and menacing, the stuff in Season 2 that parallels things going on in our own world is chillingly familiar, and without the iconic Star Wars imagery, there are segments you wouldn't know weren't some kind of documentary about the horrors on our own planet. Not that Season 1 doesn't draw some parallels as well, but it still feels just a teensy bit less grounded in reality. Also, where Season 1 is clearly divided in 3-4 arcs that all tell very different stories, like 4 separate movies - Season 2, especially past the first 3 episodes, feels like one much larger story, with ups and downs a bit more all over the place than the 3-episode chunks we came to know in Season 1, which just seems a bit more "neatly structured" by comparison. Not that there's anything wrong with the story Season 2 told, it just made the experience of watching the episodes with the same pacing expectations as Season 1 leave some parts feeling a bit anticlimactic or even redundant. And some content like the infighting rebels in these episodes felt like straight filler, something entirely absent in Season 1.

michael denny

Well sort of this is the TIE avenger Vader flies a TIE advanced. The Advanced took many aspects of the Avenger as the Avenger was too expensive to go into production. you are the best kind of correct essentially correct. Hope this helps.

michael denny

on what does Mon sacrifice and what danger she is in, I would like to point out the Empire destroyed Alderon and everyone on it because Leia was from there as an interrogation technique. What would they do to someone significantly more important to the Rebellion than Leia at the time. Family, friends, associates, world I don't think anyone is safe.

Turnt SNACO

The differences in the title sequence is in the music, not the graphics. The style and pace of the music always sets a tone for the episode.

El_Zilcho22

I'm here for the mtg talk! Also artifacts are like my favorite type of card in magic. Hells yeah! Haha

Usagi

I thnk i agree with you. I love the style and story telling of S1. Overall it was a stronger season where you can feel the integrity in the vision and execution. S2's best moments for me are with Syril and Saw and Krennic, and then the epic 8,9 & 10 episodes which are kind of outliers in terms of season's overall quality. But still a very strong, visceral, and emotionally moving season, just prefer the little moments in S1 more, like Luthen's escape from the arrestor cruiser and his monologue, maarva's speech, clem's speech, and the heist and the eye is probably my favorite arc of the entire series. I'm one of the few that doesn't care for the narkina prison break but can see its appeal. I can also understand people's disdain with the Maya pei brigade episodes, but didn't mind them as much. Those scenes dragged just as much as the prison arc for me. I love this show overall so much.

Drake

no tie fighters have no hyperlight travel, but THAT is not a tie fighter xD i mean look at it xD its a prototype some kind of way larger tie interceptor it also is much bigger and has hyperlight

Drake

you seem to mix stuff up Tay did not lent them any money you missunderstood that. he just used his banking system to hide that she lost money, so as he said he took on the "risk". and all the activities of the rebellion does cost him money so hes loosing money while taking on all the risk, he not lend mon any money. she got the money from the father of the groom Sculdun the scummy crook.

Angela D. Mitchell

You guys talked about not seeing differences between the opening music credits -- this was such a big topic for discussion with season 1. I definitely suggest watching one of the YT compilations of all the opening credits music one after the other -- and then watching the YT compilation layering them all together! They were created by Nicholas Britell to create one finished piece. (Which is one of the reasons why Maarva's funeral music was so incredibly moving.) Syril's mother is being the same character she was last season. She's just putting on a bigger show to try to put Dedra in her "place." But Dedra turns the tables and lets her know she will be the one in charge (which I loved). Also, you guys reacting to Syril lying on the bed in despair was so funny and cute -- I laughed out loud all over again (such a great scene). But you guys definitely seemed to miss a lot! Vel and Cinta broke up a year before the wedding. Vel talked about it in an earlier episode at length -- she hadn't heard from Cinta in a year. Seeing her at the party (where yes, she was there to kill Tay for Luthen, who had obviously called her in after Mon's revelations) was the first time she and Vel had seen each other since the breakup. I appreciated that you guys caught that Mon was dancing out of grief -- she doesn't approve of what Luthen will do to Tay, but she knows there is no choice (and she is powerless to stop it). I thought that scene was absolutely amazing. I loved that Bix saved herself. But it was so hard saying goodbye to Brasso.
