I have not seen this series yet. Do you think I should watch reaction video first or the series first then reaction videos. Let me know. I am huge fan of foreign films and series.

Ashton Lewis

Either way is fine to be honest, as long as you don't let yourself get distracted by the conversations then watching a series first time with reactors can be fun. I find that if I purposely watch a show just to watch it again with reactors, I don't enjoy the reaction as much because I'm fatigued by the show at that point

Todo may be insane but he is a real one

Please please please! Next video, only react to the last 2 episodes of season 2...! Season 3 works best if you start from episode 1... Season 3 works in sets of 3 episodes, so no matter what, you're going to have a either 5 episodes or a 2 episodes video at some point.

they record weeks in advance for anime so whatever next week is has been recorded long ago, you begging wont change anything. its already recorded.

Ashton Lewis

Old Man Zenin was Kentucky Fried by Jogo remember. If you're waiting for him to turn up, you'll be waiting a while!

Bunnyclutching

either works, for me i read the series a long time ago, and watched the episodes when they came out and for me a lot of my enjoyment is anticipating big moments for them to react to. Ashton is right though in the sense that if you watch the series now and then watch their reactions quickly after, you might get a little fatigue for having to watch the show twice over

Budding

Uuuughhh... can only hope then

Depends on how you like to watch movies. With a reaction watch-along, there is a higher risk of missing stuff and getting influenced by the reactors when forming your own opinion. I personally prefer to read or watch the source myself first, before watching the reactions or even adaptations of it. But obviously, this requires a higher time commitment. My recommendation: Start with the series yourself first. If you like it, finish the series first and then jump to the reactions. If you realize that you don't enjoy it, or at least not as much, jump to the reactions. The reactions will still be there afterwards, but you only get one try to experience it for yourself for the first time.

If you check their Shedule, next wee it's just 22 and 23

Todo and Mahito are probably my favorite characters by far. I am very not connected to the story, but they are fun as fuck

I think people tend to forget that Sukuna does not care about Yuji nor if he dies. If Yuji dies, Sukuna can still reincarnate. At this point Sukuna just has an interest in Megumi but he's not going to rescues Yuji. Also mechmaru, worst character. Sold out all his friends and countless innocent people because he was simping. People excuse him and say its understandable because his life sucked but no. Don't take others down with you that have nothing to do with your circumstances, that's sick. Single handedly, a large part of season 2 and all these deaths is HIS fault because he facilitated the villains' plans on a childish whim that everything would work out for him if he became Judas and everyone would forgive him if he got Gojo to clean up for him. That's wild

Dorian Cantu

Haruta (hand-sword guy) is already dead, you watched him fall out apart literally when Sukuna was done fighting Mahoraga, so he won't be coming back again.

Jacob

Curious how others feel about this. I enjoy JJK. I cannot stand the sudden 3rd person announcer having to explain the plot that's happening. To me that's just a real weakness in the story they are trying to tell that they just have to do that to make it make sense. I wish they could relay that stuff somehow in the actual story without having to rely on a narrator. Not saying that narrator's are always bad. I just think it's overdone here. Still very much enjoy this series. There is another very popular Shonen that relies strongly on this in the later half of its run.

newhastings

so much has happened they forgot maki and her grandpa got barbecued lol

StrayConfusion

I quit the show when I first saw Nobara's death in 2x19. This time I'll try sticking with it and see how things go from here but I'm still not happy about it.

Legacy

I think it’s fine considering it’s adapted from a manga. Narration is a core part of the story, and without it, the anime would be going off-script from the source material. Did you like the writing in Season 1 better? They skipped the narrator entirely back then and had to rely heavily on inner dialogue and characters explaining things out loud for it to make sense.

Legacy

The only reason Megumi summoned the crazy thing Mahoraga was to force a mutual death match with the ponytail guy, not to let a monster rampage through the city. The taming ritual is a closed loop, once both people inside the ritual die, the ritual is over and the shikigami vanishes. If Sukuna hadn't unexpectedly stepped in to keep the ponytail guy alive, the fight would have been over in 10 seconds. Megumi didn't release it to destroy the city. It was the quickest way for somewhat of a victory why summon something weaker to give the ponytail guy a chance?

Austin P

Regardless of the bad guy's "level", Megumi was about to die. It was his only card in the moment

Jacob

I do enjoy this season better so I think you may be right. I never read the manga. I think I was just so put off by it in another anime I may just have a strong distaste for it now. It still bugs me a bit, but also at the same time it's better than a character just watching the action and explaining everything all the time.

Tom

honestly you should watch the show since there is a lot of important exposition that helps you understand the power systems and world that will be cut in a reaction video.
