Waltz performance is one of the greatest ever. The character is perfect but is extremely demanding and he played it just perfect. He spoke 4 languages with the perfect accent every time.

There were many attempts on hitlers life. One of which a General Von Stauffenberg put a bomb that was in a briefcase in the Wolfs Lair but someone moved it. When Von Stauffenberg flew to Berlin they (Nazis) were waiting for him. They shot him and imprisoned the rest of the family.

It is super weird they didn't clean up in the basement after the shootout. They could probably go so far as to hide the bodies, at least the three Basterds' bodies, but not even taking five minutes to check for any clues that might give away their spy (or give away if she's really on the enemy's side as they now suspect) is silly. Although I've never thought of it any of the five or six times I've seen this movie before, so I guess it works somewhat. Bungorney and Areyver-derchy.
