i think you should watch meaning of life as well, its pretty good, but i think it kind of ties with life of brian, but holy grail is my favorite of the 3.

There are four movies by the comedy sketch troupe "Monty Python's Flying Circus". They are, in order of release: 1. Monty Python and Now for Something Completely Different. 2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail. 3. Monty Python Life of Brian. 4. Monty Python The Meaning of Life. The best (IMHO) is Monty Python and the Holy Grail followed by Life of Brian. The other two are films of sketches, the first with no real theme the last loosely linked by a discussion of the meaning of life. Numbers 1 and 4 are (again IMHO) not in the same league as numbers 2 and 3.

The song "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" was, in fact, released as a record and you could buy it in the movie theatre. It was re-released sometime later and got fairly high in the UK Charts.
