The pot situation in the US is complicated. 39 states have legalized pot for medical purposes and 19 of those for recreational purposes as well. Under US law, it is still illegal, however the Federal government is not currently enforcing those restrictions in the states where it is legal. This could change depending on who is the next President. There has been a push by members of both political parties to drop that law and allow the states to decide this issue for themselves, but some of the states object to that. THe result is a hodgepodge of laws. For example in my New Jersey you can buy pot, but you can't use your credit card. Bring cash. We will see what Congress does next. When this movie was made not too many states had legalized pot yet. The Post-Credits scene is a call-back to CaddyShack. All I can say about CaddyShack is that it is the finest in adolescent, Junior High school humor that you will ever see... It's kind of like Airplane or Blazing Saddles, but dumbed down, and with a great cast of comics including Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, and of course a Gopher. It's directed by Harold Ramis. It might just be right up your alley. I highly recommend it.

I love this movie. It’s a different kind of zombie comedy. It also has the best cameo in Bill Murray.

You should react to Night of the Living Dead (1968). It was the first modern zombie movie.

This was originally intended to be a TV series, hence the "zombie kill of the week." That was going to be a running gag in the show. After the success of the movie, they did try to make a TV show version when Amazon was just starting to launch its streaming platform, but it was just... not good.

Woody is great in Seven Psychopaths, it also has Christopher Walken, Colin Farrell and the incredible Sam Rockwell, very funny movie. I'd actually suggest all of Martin McDonagh's work.

Another fun movie where the cast is just having fun is Mars Attacks. The Favourite is a good movie if you want more Emma Stone.

i was just looking at harrelsons imdb. consider doing 'a scanner darkly'. its based on a philip k dick story. you already did some movies based on his stories, total recall and blade runner. theres also minority report with tom cruise, screamers, paycheck, next with nick cage and the adjustment bureau. a scanner darkly is really bizarre to the point that people dont really like it, but its probably the best look into the mind of PKD in film to date. he wrote all his stories on speed, like a heavy user of amphetamines, and a scanner was him finally sober and sort of reflecting on his experiences with drugs. that aside, i think Simone would really like the adjustment bureau. its a romantic film with a strange plot that stars matt damon.

One of my favorite zombie movies! They blended the horror and comedy perfectly! I remember having a blast seeing this in the theatre.
