Obligatory screaming: Candyman is a horror classic from the early 90s! It's excellent! Loud noises! Seriously, one of the best Patreon intros right here.

Ben

"Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo" ... FYI ;)

Youtube: Here are some gory murders! Also Youtube: No women in underwear!

Candyman: one of THE iconic horror characters, played by Tony Todd. I've not seen the remake but I'm guessing it's not as good

JediLounger

Hey, awesome! Keep going guys, like I said last time. You guys had the same reaction to the initial sequence as the theater I saw the movie in. It was a riot, let me tell you. Edit: side note, if you need some comedies for your list, I would check out Sideways (2004), absolutely hysterical. And Evolution (2001), one of those rare blends of science fiction and comedy that has stuck with me.

Jay

The Final Destination series is fun, wasn't mad about the 4th film but I enjoyed the rest. I still think this one has the best premonition/disaster scene though, it's bloody awesome! Also, Candyman is a great horror film from 1992. The one Simone mentioned was the 4th in the series but a direct sequel to the first one. Tony Todd has one of the best voices in film.

Ashley Minor

My main memory of this movie was having to watch the opening car crash scene in a driving school to "get an idea of how dangerous it can be."

Monica Alarcon

I'm glad you guys get the point of this series: fun elaborate death scenes. Silly things like story and character development are secondary. It's more funny than scary actually. I hope you keep doing them. Even the 4th one...

Ravenlay

omg that's traumatizing. it's giving "If you have sex, you WILL get pregnant. And die."

REDR58

Right with you there on The Name of the Rose, The Fisher King and Awakenings. Great movies.

Opti_Frog

Some really fun and creative deaths in this one but since the mystery was solved in the first movie there's not really a narrative thrust. The exposition and characters are just moved around a bit until the next fun death.

Logan Kerlee

I enjoyed the first one far more, but that's generally how it goes with sequels. This was still a fun watch though. :) Glad you both enjoyed it! Like others have mentioned, the death scenes become more comedic than scary. That's what I'm not digging. I enjoy the scary bits far more than the comedy. That's what I liked about the first - it's death scenes were both silly and outrageous/scary at the same time. Surprised that you enjoyed this one more Simone! I didn't like the deaths in this one nearly as much. After watching, I'm only remembering a few of the death scenes whereas in the first one I can still remember a majority of them! That's me though, if others enjoy this one more - okie doke. Looking forward to watching more! :D

Well Simone and George, enjoy driving down the freeway from now on. Now you'll be thinking what the rest of us think every time we see a truck carrying something like the logs in the film. It will keep you on your toes FOREVER. I saw this movie almost 20 years ago and to this day I'm scared to drive behind a truck like that lol. I saw a large extension ladder break free from some of its restraints on the top of a construction van the other day. It was hanging on by on hook at the front and I was just waiting for it to break free and go through the windshield of the car behind it.

Chase Schleich

I hope they at least watch the next (3rd) one. I love the big opening death scene in that one. It's worth watching just for that lol.

Chase Schleich

Yep. YouTube had no problem with this film..... until it showed her left bra cup at the very end when she's in the hospital bed. Whole video, demonetized and given an X rating. Stupid AI lol

Chase Schleich

Oh btw George, not sure if you played Spider-Man PS4 (2018), but Tony Todd (Death, Candyman) will be voicing Venom in Spider-Man 2 PS5 next year. Can't wait for that.

Angus Kirk

You two need to watch Megamind (2010), it's a highly underrated comedy that sadly got overshadowed my Despicable Me.

Justin Wolford

Welcome to the club guys. A whole generation of traumatized people due to this movie. I was traveling down a three lane highway once and there was a log truck in the lane all by itself literally every other car was in the other lane. He then merged into the lane with all the traffic and that lane completely emptied into the unoccupied lane he was just in 🤣🤣🤣

Josh B.

Still waitin on that Pirates 3 reaction lol hopefully its around the corner

A fun Horror Comedy also starring Devon Sawa, Idle Hands.

Lachlan Caldwell

Laughing to the crazy deaths in this series is my guilty pleasure. Also, you need to google "final destination 2 log meme" 😁

Kinokind

"Candyman" is a horror franchise begun in the early 80s. And yes, "Break-in' 2: Electric Bugaloo" is an early 80s musical about breakdancers.

Psyclopath

Guys, i'm eagerly waiting for you to react to Midsommar. I've seen this movie over 6 times, 12 more and it'll beat my Avengers IW/EG record lol.

JoeySnowyNoey

YES! I fucking love Midsommar and would love to see them react to it!
