You need to watch the sequels. Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, which is a direct sequel. And A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas.

This movie basically launched NPH's career renaissance. You also have to keep in mind, this was before he came out as gay (he came out two years after this), which makes his scenes feel even wilder because in retrospect, we know just how far away from his actual self he was playing those scenes (since he's playing "himself").

I dunno much about NPH these days, but he lost me a few years back when he threw some shade at Rachel Bloom on Twitter when she was doing some segments at an awards show and he was asking who the hell she was and why she was on screen, or something... even though her husband literally wrote for the sitcom he was on at the time and he had met her multiple times. Don't come at Rachel Bloom and expect to keep fans.

It takes a bit of preparation, but my ultimate food as far as just gorging myself is concerned is Pastitsio, basically Greek lasagna. I could eat 6000 kcal's worth of it in one evening and not be worse off for it. I also bought it to accommodate this rewatch, Jesus Christ am I glad I accumulated a massive deficit the last two weeks

The “Have the Munchies”, subtitle was purely for international markets without White Castles. This was released before weed was legal in Canada (or anywhere in the US). This movie re-sparked NHP’s career. His performance in it led to his role as Barney in How I Met Your Mother.
