**There will be no interruptions to video uploads, 3 movies + show per week as usual***Hi folks, Simone is moving to a different city in little over a week and we've decided to pre-do 4 weeks worth of filming over the next little while, just incase anything occurs during the move such as damaged equipment or delayed internet installations.

That way, should anything happen that prevent Simone from shooting at her new place, she can quickly drive back to her current home to film. Polls will return in 4 weeks on August 7th.

Lots of good ones on here. Personally hoping for Field of Dreams, Almost Famous (though, good luck with the editing for that one given the absurdly good soundtrack), and Rear Window.

Cinebinge

If you are unable to vote for multiple movies, try a different browser or device; this is an on-going bug with Patreon. Nathan Swapp

I always read "Almost Famous" as "Almost Heroes" which is my favorite Chris Farley movie and I think a forgotten 💎

Śéáń

Good choices, and good luck with the move!

BantaClaus

A great one to put in circulation is Paul. It's another Simon Pegg, Nick frost, Edgar Wright masterpiece

Jade Richardson

So many good movies here! If I didn’t believe so much in Donnie Darko I would risk a vote for Rear Window! Very excited to see interest in Donnie Darko early on as it is probably my favorite cult film. So happy to see it in the poll!🖤🤟

Viola Rose

Beverly Hills Cop is great!

streaky

Donnie Darko has a few different versions - I'd suggest just watching the original cut if you haven't seen it before, though I don't proclaim to speak for others..

Martin

My votes are for Zoolander, Beverly Hills Cop, and The Mist.

Adam

Field of dreams and Limitless on the same pole 😬 both so good!

redddfer44

Sadly, week after week, I feel that the community's taste overall has slowly drifted away from mine. I'm hoping for good non-Saturday picks.

Tiago Borges

Another Hollywood poll? 😔

Cory Garron

I hope she's moving to Halifax. lol

Mikebdrx

Good luck to Simone. I hope wherever you moving too you enjoy living there.

Vincent

Rear Window Ghostbusters 2 Limitless

Sean Barbante

I am still hoping that no Nice Guys on the poll means that you are already watched/ planning on watching the movie. Also, if Field of Dreams makes it through the top four, I would recommend Eight Men Out (1988) as a companion piece. It's such a good film that no reaction channel has yet to cover.

Logan Nelson

Please let The Mist and Donnie Darko make it...

Jared Winn

Good luck on the move Simone!!

Balmung

The only point of watching Field of Dreams is to get the reference, and even then, people can just explain it in 10 seconds. I mean, "A League of their Own" works universally, but I feel like Field of Dreams is very culturally specific. Not shitting on anyone's taste, just sharing mine. P.S.- For another perspective, imagine a movie that involves the sport Curling and uses the same themes as Field of Dreams, and tell me if that doesn't sound silly.

Astraeos

Just a random question about Canada, are both of you guys moving to different cities so much because of the cost of housing and renting in Canada? It just seems both of you have had to move so many times. Hopefully it goes well, moving can be such a massive pain.

Astraeos

Also, Almost Famous is absolutely one of the most amazing movies that ever existed. Completely destroys me emotionally each and every time.

punterjoe

While I VOTED for "Almost Famous" - I'd really like you to screen "Untitled" - the 'bootleg cut'. Few - if any - react to that version. I don't know if it's streaming anywhere, but it's easy to find on physical media. It's the 'director's cut' with WAY more exposition cut for time from the theatrical release. THIS is the version that would have won Kate Hudson the Oscar (and maybe even Jimmy Fallon a nomination)! And - if you get a physical copy, it also has a HILARIOUS commentary track with Cameron Crowe and his mom, which is truly squirmworthy. 😁 As for the actual theatrical release? meh. skip it. good - not great. ...As I learned when I saw the 'bootleg cut'.

Erik D

Many people said that The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy could not be successfully adapted into a movie, and they turned out to be correct.

Nate Gavin

Some great choices here. Can we please get the next poll to include Glengarry Glen Ross? Stellar cast, no movie set pieces, no special fx - just pure acting based on a David Mamet play. Either that, or perhaps Cinebinge fastfood review on famous scenes on random movies since there are too many good movies in this universe?

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Some nice choices... Donnie Darko is one of my fav films...and BHC is EM at his youthful best...I'd be happy w 4 or 5 options though

Margaret S E Smith

I, also, would love to see their reaction to such a classic Hitchcock film as Rear Window -- Grace Kelley, Jimmy Stewart, and Thelma Ritter paired with the auteur direction of Hitchcock? Serious, a cinephile-must-see!

Mike

Lot of pure WIN on this list

Jomero

The Mist is one of the rare times that Stephen King saw an adaptation of his book and liked it. Liked it so much he was pissed off that the movie had a better ending than the book and he wished he thought of it first.

Theoshin

Great List, It's been a minute since i requested some movies in a poll post so Jim Henson Labyrinth. I think this is in my top 10 all time movies. Jim's puppetry feels liker a lost art Man on the Moon, With this i would really like Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond reaction as well. Rocky 3 - I know this will lose out on most polls :/ Fallen - One of my fav Denzel Movies Transformers movie (1986) for a great soundtrack Kingpin - Some Woody and Murray Love Orgazmo - Those Crazy South park people Thanks for the reactions

michael clarke

donnie darko gets a lot of shit these days.. but i still think its a brilliant movie that at its heart is about self sacrifice.

KnittingHaven

Are you guys going to continue the Final Destination movies? I don't care if you watch 4, but would really like to see a reaction to 5 :)

Brendan Rafferty

You should dump the horrible 2005 adaptation of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and instead watch the short 1981 BBC miniseries adaptation. In addition to cutting much of the story, the 2005 film decided to add a love story and action plot, making villains that needed to be defeated… nonsense

Dave van der Kuyp

Oeh. Donnie Darko is my all time favorite! *Fingers crossed*

L77045

Good luck with the move! Can be stressful, so hope everything goes smooth and you don't work too hard between that and the reviews.

Maarten Martens

If you're going to watch Donnie Darko, I strongly advise to watch the theatrical cut (first). Even writer/director Richard Kelly said this in an interview with AVclub.com, where he talked about the director's cut. Here is the relevant quote Richard Kelly: "I never intended it to be a replacement. I wanted it to be a companion—an alternate, more novelistic version of the film. It’s a version for people who want to dig deeper into the narrative. For a lot of my favorite films, there are multiple versions—like with James Cameron’s movies. There’s a way to have multiple versions of a film that can coexist together. The first time you see the film, it’s probably better to start with the theatrical cut. If you’re open to a deeper dive, then you can move on to the director’s cut. That was my intention." (Richard Kelly on rereleasing Donnie Darko in an age of political anxiety, published April 4, 2017, AVclub) I absolutely love the film, but I'm not sure if it fits the reaction style video, as there is a lot going on. Also, this film has a lot of different explanations, and fans are very vocal about their personal theory. So be ready for some strong opinions. The fun thing is discussing it with others, and not to convince others are 'wrong'.

Tim T—

Well. Have a good move. Don’t pack all unread Dune books into one box: It will be too heavy. Mix it with something light. A cat perhaps. :)

Jay

On Donnie Darko, I'd go with the theatrical cut. I LOVED that film growing up, I used to watch it all the time even though I never fully understood exactly what was going on. I was delighted when the director's cut was released and while it does make things a lot more clear (it literally spells it out for you, literally), I much prefer the original. And whoever decided to swap in Never Tear Us Apart for The Killing Moon at the beginning? Shame.......shame........shame.........shame.......shame.......shame

Michael Langille

Love to see "Clue" or "Oscar" on the list - both excellent Tim Curry flicks.

Michael Robayo

I agree; I only voted for The Mist because it's the one I want to see the most.

sol stapleton

Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, the books are better but the film is still good

Maddie

Ghostbusters 2 is a must!!!!!!

werewolfhunger

Six Days, Seven Nights 1998 , The Beach 2000 ,Heat 1995, Casino 1995, Don't Look Up 2021

Rooster Aleution

I'm hoping that Almost Famous gets some more votes. Great movie! I would love if Get Him to The Greek ended up on a future poll. Both memorable music movies in very different ways.

p0sthum4n

HHGTTG is not going to win but it needs to keep being on polls, please. Simone needs to see it and I need to see her see it. You know it too, George.

FromDarknessComesLight

Hitchcock films are amazing and Rear Window is one of my favorite ones. +1, more Hitchcock!

Blips of Our Lives

Big, Almost FAmous,Limitless (the 2 season series was goodtoo), Field of Dreams! Not that anyone asked for my opinion, but theyre all great. Lol Donnie Darko should be covered at some point for sure.

Joh

This is me once again pleading, begging for IT 2 ! Since you made others of sequel I believe w/o poll I really hope you will consider it. Ok bye.

Logan Kerlee

I saw a number of movies mentioned that I voted on - but the main one that stuck with me because it's such a favorite of mine is Fight Club! It's an excellent film that should be seen by most adults. It's a lot of fun while being funny. It's also plenty serious and freaky. Hope it gets picked! :D

Margaret S E Smith

Why have I seen not one reactor focus a little time on some of the great 1970s Disaster movies from Irwin Allen? The man was a genre all to himself. "The Towering Inferno", "Earthquake", "The Poseidon Adventure"... classics. I don't know; maybe they are too young or I'm just getting too old. LOL. Maybe these two will brave the waters -- so to speak. Heh heh. ;)

Rob Church

Went with Donnie Darko, The Mist and Ghostbusters 2 this time.

Tay Schumaker

Not surprising on Rick, he didn't look in to any of the episodes. Probably for the best.

Brandon Meng

Seeing a lot of people ripping on this poll but its current top 4 can be considered all separate genres and the poll itself spans ... what, 9 decades of filmmaking? How much more variety can you get? This is a fairly large community with a wide spectrum of taste bound to leave people alienated occasionally as far as what movies are being reacted to and polled. Definitely not easy but I appreciate this channel's unpredictability in that regard. Hoping The Mist holds on and definitely looking forward to Beverly Hills Cop! (also plz react to perks of being a wallflower and manchester by the sea k thank you)

Luis

I think if Field of Dreams doesn’t win this one then it should be pulled from future polls. Appropriate given its baseball theme.

FranciscoGios

I had to remind myself what’s Donnie Darko, so I looked it up and Yeah I knew exactly why I didn’t watched it. But it’s winning 🤷‍♂️

Travis

Donnie Darko!!!!!

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

hurts to see almost famous doing so poorly .. its one of my top 5 favorites of all time. I know you guys have said you dont have any intention of doing personal requests .. I hope that might change some day.

Jon Burrows

Maybe once every so often you could put all the poll losers in a hat and just do a random draw yourselves to watch one of those.

Ryne Mclane

I went for Donnie Darko. I'm not sure what cut to suggest. Director's edition is more fleshed out but a couple of changes irk me, especially cutting INXS for Echo and the Bunny men. The cast is pretty fun too if you go in blind.

Jack Urmson

Good luck with the move! 🤞🤞Hoping for Beverly Hills Cop and Almost Famous!

Alex Ch

I’d like to put in a request for Face/Off to make a future poll? Peak 90s star Nicolas Cage, peak 90s crazy and crazy entertaining.

Matthew Johnson

I haven't ever seen these on your polls (maybe I missed them), but definitely suggest you check out: - Whale Rider - Dolores Claiborne - First Cow Just three random Great Movies I know you guys would really find interesting.

Echo

Stephen King said he wished he had thought of the ending they used with The Mist. I cried for like half an hour before I could leave the theater. Definitely gets my vote. I'm also voting for HGttG, love me some Alan Rickman.

Happy Hanukkah

To commemorate the passing a month ago of Treat Williams, I nominate Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995).

howtocookazombie (Stan)

"Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" is a masterpiece! I'm gonna vote for it until you watch it. 😁 Good luck to Simone. I hope everything goes well.

Jay Davis

I say we go on strike until Simone watches Hitchhiker's and George watches You've Got Mail.

James Falato

I Rank My 6 Selections For Your Reactions In This Order:

James Falato

1. The Wizard of Oz (an All Time Classic)... 2. Rear Window (one of Alfred Hitchcock's Best)... 3. Field of Dreams (Dreams Should Come True)... 4. Beverly Hills Cop (shows Comedy and Police Drama Can Work)... 5. Big (Be Careful What You Wish For)... 6. The Mist (Think Stephen King)...

Eik104

If when you watch Donnie Darko, I would go for the theatrical version because it leaves more up to your own interpretation. I feel the directors/extended explain everything and thus takes away the joy of thinking about the movie afterwards and making your own conclusions.

Chase Lonnergan

At last! Beverly Hills Cop! I've been waiting for this one since I joined the channel. Now we just need Part2, CLue, Short Circuit, From Dusk til Dawn, and The Count of Monte Cristo (2002). Also hoping for Ghostbusters 2, but only to lead to Afterlife.

João Rafael Ferreira

The new Mission Impossible is premiering now so just like to recommend you guys to keep going with the franchise. They re beautifully shot action movies and one of the top of this genre today. So much fun to watch.

Skinny_Obelix

I do not understand these polls, the comments almost never reflect the votes.

Ben

A few requests for you guys; *Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) *Scarface (1983) *True Grit (2010) and don't forget sequels to movies you've already watched like; *The Karate Kid 2 & 3 (also consider the series 'Cobra Kai') *It: Chapter 2 (2019) *Gremlins 2 (1990) They're the ones off the top of my head I'd love to see you guys watch. Thanks!

Matthew Brown

Awaww I really wanted ghostbusters 2 to win

BlindPanda

The mist was a terrible movie lol

Squ33ky

I wouldnt say the Miost is terrible by anyy means... Was decent but nothing great.. Most people cant get over the one scene lol

MacGuffinStuff

The Donnie Darko soundtrack is so cool. I listen to a lot of different music but I have a special love for that 80s dark wave type stuff. That movie is great for other reasons, but that's one that makes it a personal favorite for me.

streaky

I wouldn't have voted for it but I'm surprised so few votes for Field of Dreams.

Jacob King

I just went back and caught up with your reaction to The Northman and there was a moment where George says he could watch a whole movie of just the mystic parts - so I just want to suggest The Green Knight in case no one has thought to mention that yet. Medieval fantasy done A24 style and there are some really spectacular moments of beauty and proper weirdness in it.

L77045

Lol...I voted for four of them, and almost all are in the bottom half of votes received. Oh well, always next time XD

R R

Almost Famous deserves more votes imo

804Media

Unironically, "Donnie Darko," and specifically the director's cut.

sarCC

Welp, definitely looking forward to The Mist, at least.

Ian Beausejour

Patiently waiting for a Clint Eastwood arc. Maybe for the next poll?

KevG

Good luck with the move, Simone. Can't wait to see your new background. Some advice, take the move in stages. ------ It's okay to not have everything in place on the first day. ----- Get the big stuff situated first, like bed, couch,, desk., work clothes and comfort clothes. ---- OH and don't forget the cat, HA. All the other things can wait till the next day and then the weekend. ------ Just remember to give yourself wiggle room and not let your meticulous nature take over. (at least till the first few days have passed)

Eik104

Could you add Be Cool (2005) for a future poll? It's a comedy with Uma Thurman, John Travolta, The Rock, Vince Vaughn, Andre 3000, Cedric the Entertainer, Steven Tyler and many more. I think you'd both laugh your beeps off

Robert White

Have they ever done a Costner film?

Martin

George and Simone are going to love Zoolander. :)

sarCC

I really hope that since you're done with Bourne now, you can pick Mission: Impossible back up. Definitely skip M:I-2 though(unless you want it as a Cinecringe pick, of course). III is good and fun, not nearly as great as the first...but from then on, each entry tops the last(and the newest one in theaters is just spectacular).

JH

If I might suggest one film: The Siege (Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, Bruce Willis and Tony Shalhoub)—- pretty good film and subject matter aged rather well…

Rachel W

Anyone know what happened to the George and Simone react to Saving Private Ryan? Seems to have disappeared

jackers

LEONARDO DI CAPRIO did this 21 year old flick where he plays cat and mouse game with TOM HANKS directed by STEVEN SPIELBERG called "Catch me if you can". This thing would make you smile.

FatLittleButterfly

I feel the need to mention this.. Have you all watched Real Steel? Any chance for Inside out, Tangled, and Wreck it Ralph in the near future?

lespea

I'm sad Almost Famous is doing so poorly. Imo it's the greatest coming of are movie ever made. Hopefully it'll make it in some future poll. This is definitely a pretty stacked list.

Tyler Foster

I'm sure many have said this, but make sure to get the *theatrical cut* of Donnie Darko (1:53:13), and *not* the Director's Cut (2:13:51). To clarify: the two cuts of the movie are largely similar, but the Director's Cut (which is only called that for marketing purposes; there is no preferred version by the filmmakers) really takes away much of the mystery and ambiguity that sparks the imagination by explaining everything in detail. Also, since I'm already talking about alternate cuts, you might want to write down that the two cuts of Almost Famous are the theatrical (2:03:13) and "Untitled - The Bootleg Cut" (2:41:29), the latter of which is an official version on all of the Blu-ray and 4K releases, despite the name. I think the Bootleg Cut is better and richer, but both are good.

Naturekitty5309

I keep hoping for field of dreams, but it gets no love.

Jeff K.

Movie that just popped into my head I hope you'll react to at some point, if you ever want to just celebrate Canada: "Strange Brew" It might be the most quintessential Canadian comedy movie ever, adapted from a long-running sketch on SCTV with Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas as two brothers who love beer and host a public access TV show. Basically, the McKenzie brothers walked so that Wayne and Garth could run. Anyway, it's dumb, and ridiculous, and hilarious, and also somehow a loose (although not as loose as you'd think!) adaptation of Hamlet, with the McKenzie brothers basically in the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern roles.

Thomas A

Would love to see you guys react to 'Clue' sometime, a classic in the murder mystery genre.

Jesse Coombs

I just watched the F.A.Q. video, so I know to put my requests here! For me I would be in heaven if you would react to any Billy Wilder, Wes Anderson, or Coen Brothers movies that you guys haven't seen. All the movies in those director's catalogues are great. (I'd suggest David Lynch or Paul Thomas Anderson as well; equally great, but are a bit more challenging.)

TokyoLopez

y’all should watch Garfield the cat movie

Daniel Gurney

I would love it if you guys reacted to "carlitos way" or "natural born killers" I know you would love either one or both.

TomGas2025

Anyone already suggested the legend of vox machina?

Buhr

Has anyone suggested Battlestar Galactica? I could see where one or both of you have watched it before but if not it could be a good series to enjoy,

Purple Dragon Knight

Farscape. BSG. The Dark Crystal. Clue. The Count of Monte Cristo. A Fish Called Wanda. My random list for today.

Blacky

There a lot of good suggestions, like Battlestar Galactica or Farscape, that are very long and would be a significant engagement from them. I would suggest shorter, smaller things: In movies The Hogfather is a very good adaptation of the Terry Pratchett novel. In short series, Sherlock is a very good modern re-imagination of the characters, with wonderful Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. It's only 4 seasons each having 3 episodes, it's very short. And quite funny.

ExtraBigAssTaco

I will 2nd Kung Pow!, and also would like to see their reaction to Baywatch, from 2017. I think it would be amusing.

MrRuss50

ugh, hurts being on wrong end of these everytime. Almost Famous is the best answer for a reaction on this list so of course its at the back of the pack.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

3 Reaction requests for you.. Hollywood Shuffle (1987), Thoroughbreds (2017), Little Miss Sunshine (2006)

Dirge Girl

Also for your consideration: The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Ravenous (1999), and/or Dark City (1998). Please and thank you. 8)>

Jay Davis

Thief Heat Drive Dunkirk Rome Hmmm. All my recommendations seem to have something in common. What can be done? Oh! I know. Michael Clayton

howtocookazombie (Stan)

"Beetlejuice" (Horror comedy from 1988). "The Thirteenth Floor" from 1999 is also quite good. It was one of the many inspirations for "The Matrix" (btw, when will you watch the other movies? 😋). And "Children of Men" has some very unique shots and camera techniques.

Ginger

Heat Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny Face/Off The Game

imptwitch

Sarah Connor Chronicles please! It's soooo sooo good.

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

these polls are all over the place... its hard for good movies to win with multiple genres mixed into one poll

Buhr

Oh, isn't that the one where the guy becomes limitless?

howtocookazombie (Stan)

Since you watched "300", I would also suggest "Meet the Spartans", which is a parody of it. 😉

Liberty on the Air

Good god, please not HitchHikers. I'd rather watch you guys reacting while listening to the audiobook, though I recognize the copyright issues.

gfixler

ˢᵗᶦˡˡ ʰᵒᵖᶦⁿᵍ ᶠᵒʳ ʷᶦᵗᶜʰᵉʳ ˢᵉᵃˢᵒⁿˢ ³ ᵃⁿᵈ ⁴

AdmiralZhou

Would love to see you guys react to the show Severance. It's such an amazing show that not many people know about. It'd be a quick one since it's only 1 season 9 episodes right now

CD

An upvote won’t do it. React to Severance! And…why is no one doing The Bear!?

Ginger

If you want to watch a couple of bad movies, here are some classics: - The Room (possibly terrible to edit for Youtube) - Birdemic (From the guy who liked "The Birds") - Fateful Findings (The most coherent Neil Breen film, which is not saying much.) - Battlefield Earth (not exactly a cult classic but certainly a "cult classic") - Troll 2 (which is not a sequel, despite the title) I don't know if I should add "Howard the Duck" to the list, which is much more competently made but that would also be a fun one to check out.
