Mmmm nice, more Tron-ica tracks. Didn't know they're making another Tron movie. It certainly has been more than 10 years since Tron: Legacy. I don't know what to think of it though and feel a bit skeptical if it'd be as good as Legacy. I get a sense that nowadays Hollywood has run out of creativity and is only bringing back old franchises to cash in on the popular name and that's it. To me personally the golden age of films was the 90s and the first decade of this century. After around 2010-2011 I started to feel a huge decline in quality and creativity in Hollywood films, with them sticking more to CGI, remakes, and comic books than coming up with original new ideas or at least new styles of filmmaking. Of course there have been some odd few films from Hollywood that impressed me in the past 10 or so years, but a lot fewer than before. Regarding original Tron, I've not actually watched it. Only seen some clips but not the whole film. Some of the older films with outdated effects are harder to watch if you've not watched them back when they first came out. Ahah. It's kind of the same thing with games too.

Incredible stuff! I plan on adding these to a game I'm working on. Thanks for all the great music!

I don't necessarily think that continuing old franchises is a bad idea, though it's mostly money and 'certainty' that prohibit more new ideas from being major releases. Christopher Nolan can get an original idea greenlit for a blockbuster. Studios can't predict returns when they have no franchise track record to base their projections on. I'm not saying it's good, but that's the reality of it. I do wonder what it would be like to grow up in this era instead of when I did. In the early 90s, it was really the first wave of sequels and franchises for genre films... but they still felt fresh, probably because the only place you got scifi was the movies and very limited TV exposure. Now, there is a nearly unlimited buffet of streaming series available to anyone all the time on demand... and movies are generally 'familiar blockbuster franchises.' Watch the original Tron, though! I know it's a challenge, but just tell yourself it's 'retro,' and it'll seem ok. Sort of.
