Nice tension tracks. The Sinking Feeling really reminds me of a part of the Joker theme from The Dark Knight movie, where the constant and steady tension just keeps building up. Psycho Mindset really does sound like something that would play when a serial killer is up to no good. Regarding baroque music, yeah, perhaps it's very specific in where it can be used, but it's usually very nice to listen to. And you never know, it might even be used in very unusual and unorthodox places (like why is it that villains often love listening to this type of music when they're scheming something sinister?).

Good ear, you called out a specific instance of the same technique used in Sinking Feeling appearing in The Dark Knight. In fact, Hans Zimmer uses it pretty frequently. The technique produces a 'Shepard Tone,' which "is an auditory illusion that creates the impression of a constantly ascending tone." Zimmer also used this extensively in the score for Dunkirk. Shepard Tones became popular among composers very briefly for like five minutes after that movie came out, then everyone realized that they have only a narrow application but that didn't stop one company from recording a virtual instrument of orchestral Shepard Tones, which I finally got to use on a track in Sinking Feeling. Also, villains like baroque music because it makes them feel fancy.
