It's quite difficult with getting noticed in the creative market these days, so I totally understand your concerns. With tutorial and video entertainment stuff, you could end up with a dilemma of deciding what topics to make them on so that your patrons would find them useful and worth their money. Say if you made a tutorial on how to pull off a certain video effect. All the people who are into video editing might find it useful, but everyone else won't. And so on. What about if you extended the music-making to also include sound effects of various themes and possibly even some common voice acting lines that could be used in games, such as grunts or one-word yells or cheers, things such as "Yes!", "Got it!", "Fantastic!", or ummm "Finish Him!" (Ok, maybe not that last one, but something in similar vein would be cool). I personally would find a lot of use for extra sound effects and voice bits. We can never have too many of them, because using the same sounds can make your game (or other creative work) feel samey. The number of times I bought different sound effects for guns shooting or UI effects is quite crazy, because I am not about to use the same ones in each game project of mine, so I keep buying new ones regularly.

Interesting that you should mention voice acting. I was recently going through old file directories and came across a product I'd made a LONG time ago made up of common unit responses for RTS games. I did a knight, an orc, and some modern soldiers. They had acknowledgments, attack confirmations, and 'you require more resources,' that sort of stuff. I will package that up and give it to you all with my next post that actually has fun sound materials for you instead of my existential crises. You're right about the tutorial/entertainment material being hit-or-miss, as far as whether people will like it. I was thinking of it more in the sense that it could draw attention to my music, but who knows. I like a lot of nerd stuff, and my music tends to fit that mold. I can definitely offer some more SFX products/packs, too. They're fun to make. I actually have a selection of retro game SFX sitting unreleased right now. When I think about SFX, there's so much on the market, but you're also right that having a big variety of them allows you to pick the perfect one so... people do buy those, and can use them. I'll definitely keep all that in mind going forward.

Great to hear. Those RTS voices already sound like a fine collection. I am sure some of us will find some use for those voices, and any future ones you might make. I wouldn't say no to an odd tutorial here and there, but if I had to choose, I'd much rather see some kind of resources, even if it's not music-related. We never know when we might need something. We don't often immediately realise we need something until it's there in front of us. :D Although there is a possibility you could end up making a really good tutorial series that all/most of your patrons would find very useful.
