In "The Negro and the Sardine: A Moorish Analogy", Elihu Pleasant-Bey, author of "The Biography of Nobel Drew Ali: the Exhuming of a Nation," forwards the notion that the creation of the "negro" is analogous to the creation of the "sardine". I won't get into laying out his whole thesis because I attached a download below to the complete essay.

But, spoiler alert: Inescapable conclusion - There is no such fish as a "sardine," and there is no such being as a "negro".
