How long on average does it take to render something like this?

It depends on scene complexity, length and lighting (for example darker scenes take way longer to render out the grain). This was a single character, a cock, only 19 frames and decent lighting so it only took about 4 hours. A lot of my others take 25+ largely due to lighting. It's a pain.
