Loved this ❤️ Skz did a teen vouge interview was great too you should check out.

BoA (pronounced like the feather scarf that goes around your shoulders) is a 1st gen soloist. She's often called the "Queen of K-Pop" because her career has been so prolific. She was recently in the K-Drama "Marry My Husband". He has truly grown so much in his vocals. I think a lot of it was confidence for him because he had such a natural warmth in his tone. I also think it's funny that he brought up "damping". I've literally only heard that term used once in a master vocal class in university. It's basically creating a dampening effect on your voice naturally (like how covers on mics can dampen some of the higher overtones) to create a rounder sound.

I knew you'd react to this one as soon as you could. I thought of you as soon as I saw that he would be on the show. Yes, gosh, so proud of Lee Know. To hear him sing like this, having watched his journey from the survival show to here...yes, there is talent, yes, there is having a natural beautiful tone, but to get to this point takes hard work. Very hard work. And time. And confidence. You can tell the difference even from his solos at the Maniac tour. You can even tell the difference from Limbo. He clearly learned a LOT from the vocal teacher and worked hard on his vocals with the lessons. And the members. And I loved how Lee Mujin tried to tease him. Loved Lee Know's facial expressions hehhe Can't remember seeing Lee Know this nervous in a long while though. But not in a survival-show- way (that was more fear), this was in a very cute way.

I'm so glad you got to enjoy Lee Know's performances at Lee Mujin's Service so soon! I knew you would love it. His growth as an artist is so impressive when we think back of his beginnings in SKZ with the survival show. Somebody else said that a whole bunch of his growth was mainly his confidence boost to sing because he naturally has a warm voice and I couldn't agree more. Still, I think he has a long path ahead of him singing wise. I absolutely love his voice though (he is my bias too but I love them all so much haha) and I am thrilled to be able to witness his progress. Just like we've been witnessing IN's growth. The both of them are among my favorite voices, so I'm just proud to see them evolve and flourish in what they love. About the the buzz like noise picked up by your mic, it's not bothering, it's just there in the backgroung when you speak. I don't hear it otherwise. I don't know what causes it or how you could get rid of it. But just so you know, it's not bothering haha

Interesting. I hadn't known what the term dampening meant and was on the verge of asking someone to explain it in the comments. So it sounds like he has been taking some in-depth voice lessons. it certainly shows.

I like that he was able to tease Lee Mujin back as well. There was a cute repertoire they had established by the end there. I hope he's proud of himself.

So the buzzing is still there. Hmmm. I thought I had gotten rid of it. Maybe I just didn't have the volume up enough. It wasn't there previously, so I'll see what I can do to neutralize it. But yes, I'm sure he'll continue to grow with his voice. Listening to the guys and consuming their content has made me realize how much (at least some) pros continue to work on their voice throughout their careers and how they are able to do new and interesting things because of it. I'd like to think Lee Know still has a very long career in front of him.
