This Sahara stage is new this year. The moved it basically across the street and made it larger and stronger. I think it's now something like 320 feet long and they were still working on construction in March - so that probably is sod. Especially since that's a lot of grass for the Mohave. Altitude - There were a couple of shows in the Latin American tour leg last year that were quite high. They did the show as usual but they struggled backstage. I honestly worry about Jongho when they go back. OSOS - Woo still hasn't posted one in a while - including Coachella. Hongjoong's brother posted his though. Damn their parents need a medal for raising those two. Jongho sat on the floor - I think this might be another instance of KQ posting the sanitized translation of something. In two other interviews he was translated as saying he collapsed and fainted. The wind in the Mohave was not only strong but also VERY dry (When we would get the Santa Ana Winds out of the desert in the summer I would always get nosebleeds it was so dry - even when I lived near the ocean) and VERY dusty-gritty. The keyboard player said his keys had a full layer of sand on them. Poor Jongho was belting while hot dry sand was blowing in his face. Vocal lessons - Jongho has a vocal coach in LA that he sees whenever he is there and has a chance. Katie Riggs is the daughter of a Very famous coach. He said once that she told him she wanted to keep teaching him even if it meant going to Korea. He couldn't do a lot that day though because his voice was in such bad shape. Yeah there is a VIP section at Coachella that includes paths to and from the stages. The whole front left side (our POV) of Sahara was VIP. The first week - on Saturday Hongjoong Seonghwa San and Mingi went around watching other artists. Hongjoong was even featured groovin' on the stream when he saw Columbian artist J Balvin and it went viral. Week 2 J Balvin went to see ATEEZ. I know they and The Rose watched each other too. HJ at JB https://x.com/_martiny1024/status/1779747320780685583 JB at ATEEZ https://x.com/ir0ckme/status/1781584468949475402 There are some big productions-sets there but all on the main stage for the biggest acts. J Balvin appeared out of a spaceship and I think Doja Cat and some stuff. I think ATEEZ is the only act who had such a big production on a different stage. Hongjoong's fan - the first week it said - if you read the Hangul aloud - Hello Coachella. The second week it said Golden Hour in English which is how the title was revealed. Most anticipated - ATEEZ was the most discussed act leading up to Coachella - Here is the word cloud for Coachella leading up to the first day https://x.com/1024updates/status/1783360755028345229

Yikes. I've definitely struggled with playing sports in the mountains before. Altitude sickness is not fun. But I haven't had to exert myself in dry, sand-blowing conditions like this. I can imagine it's a whole different level of problems. Thank you for all the info! It's cool to see that ATEEZ wasn't just the most mentioned word, but multiple iterations of ATEEZ-related terms were all the most mentioned.
