I genuinely thought Jooyeon was Junhan for like half the song because Junhan has fluffy hair and he's worn the black lipstick during a couple concerts LOL! So this is the first time Jooyeon wrecked me cause I thought he was Junhan. BUT ANYWAY YEAH SO JYPE LET A FULL METAL TRACK THROUGH THEIR DOORS! And I couldn't be happier. I think collectively as Villains and non-Villains reacting to them, we were all speechless. XH has done harder songs before like Bicycle or Moneyball, but they've never jumped fully into that metal genre. AND THIS WAS PERFECT. The feature was amazing, the instrumental was insane, the vocals were on point, and the MV!! Ohh, the MV. JYPE didn't hold back on the MV either. It's dark and grungy and twisted and perfect for a metal song. SO YEAH this is now my new favorite XH song, taking the #1 spot from Money on My Mind.

Gunil said several members of the group like metal, Junhan and Jooyeon said they liked metal and I'm assuming Gunil is another one although I'm unsure. But this gives me hope that they'll release more metal tracks in the future OR even cover a metal band/song someday!! I've been begging for a Muse cover and now I'm thinking it'd be awesome to see them perform The Handler, Assassin, Reapers, Kill or Be Killed, or any number of other songs.

ALSO I watched the MV first without captions because I needed to use all of my brain capacity focusing on them instead of being distracted by lyrics and I didn't realize it was fully English until my second watch with captions LOL

Also also, the line "to whom you wrote, I hope they choke" is GENUINELY my favorite XH line. It's just so damn aggressive and kind of violent?? Like damn okay Gaon LOL

Yeah, this was such an amazing surprise. I didn't know they were capable of this. Now I don't know what to expect out of XH. They are showing themselves to be quite versatile in pulling off different styles within the rock genre. Color me impressed.

I hope the MV keeps wracking up views. I went and purchased the song on iTunes today. Hopefully the response is encouraging the guys to explore metal more.

I was surprised they were allowed to release it, but not surprised that the group could do it haha! They can do any genre and it'd be absolutely amazing. Won't say it will all be my cup of tea, but they don't release bad quality songs!

That's awesome! The support definitely helps. I think HDD was a great debut to get people talking about the "new rock band in the kpop scene" but their first two albums were still kind of "soft" in terms of rock, appealing to a wide audience. But then JYPE realized that Villains actually want harder music so the direction they've been going in is (in my opinion) the absolute right one.
