Kai fun facts ✨ - Kai’s original stage name was just going to be Kai but fans of EXO were not happy about that, so Kai changed it to HueningKai before debut - the Huenings have got to be the most interesting family ever. Think Mr & Mrs met in Hong Kong while studying then they just started life together. They got married and moved to Texas where they had the oldest Huening sibling, Lea (She will also be a participant in a survival show to make a girl group airing in November, called Time Turner). Then they moved to Hawaii and had Kai, moved from there to South Korea for a bit where they had the youngest, Hiyyih before moving to China for 8 years. - think the biggest thing is people assuming Kai and all his siblings are proficient in English when that’s not the case. Their first language WAS Chinese but everyone but Lea has pretty much forgotten it and their memories there have been reprogrammed to the Korean language 😅 Lea is ok in English since she uses it a lot and I would even say Hiyyih is better than Kai by a little now, since she’s her groups only English speaker. Both of their parents are fluent in Chinese, Korean, and English (their mom is even a English teacher) so there wasn’t really a need for the kids to learn languages since they could speak to their parents in whatever way they were comfortable with. - Huening siblings are iconic in the kpop industry. Truly the IT siblings. They have a lot of TikTok’s and videos together on TXTs and Kep1er accounts. They are truly 3 best friends to the point where the members refer to them as “siblings out of a fairytale” Kai and Hiyyih even have a GQ photoshoot together. The 4 other members are also close with Lea and Hiyyih! They even all attended Hiyyih’s final concert in Japan together and it was the cutest moment. The concert cam showed them during Hiyyih’s speech and it was adorable. - Kai can play several instruments; piano/keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. Hueningkai wants to start a band is a really cute show that shows off Kai’s love of music really well. - that Betelgeuse vocal clip of Kai went VIRAL in Japan like millions upon millions of views kinda viral. To the point where people bought txt concert tickets to see him again. - Kai said he earlier this year he threw out a lot of his plushies and has been working out non stop too. - Kai is truly just an extremely talented, kind, and caring person * Kai has picked his US citizenship over his Korean one. *also announced today is Soobins own variety show on the channel PIXID! It’s called ‘my bias’ bias’ and the trailer will come out on Halloween and every episode after that will be released Thursday @ 7pm

You can just call Hueningkai Kai! 9/10 times when he is not in Korea, he will introduce himself as Kai. The Huening siblings are honestly so cute together. Every TXT or Kep1er comeback I always look forward to their dance challenges with each other! If you want to see more of Kai’s dancing, I recommend watching his Mix and Max performance he did with Yeonjun! For vocals I also highly recommend his and Taehyun’s Endless Rain cover from mama 2023. It’s honestly one of the best performances I have ever seen for an award show. Literally breathtaking and such an amazing tribute for X Japan with Yoshiki (member of x Japan)
