So GGUM actually means Dream in Korean, so there is kind of a double meaning to it. Kind of means go follow your dream. This is Yeonjun's first official solo release. He also did a Solo OST named Boyfriend. It sounds nothing like this though lol. It's very soft vibes. The other members do not have official solo music yet but there are rumors for Taehyun and Huening Kai having solo releases this year.

I love this!! Ggum is such a banger fr yeonjun was NOT wrong 🔥 can't wait for you to react to the whole choreo live! His performances are truly insane, i also reccomend the studio choom!! 💕

There’s also a mini docu series on Yeonjun creating GGUM! He participated in all aspects including writing lyrics, deciding on choreo, the music video, etc. He really put a ton of work into this to make it his. The album is also really cool too. It comes with a little figure of him as a keychain and it was packaged more like an action figure rather than an album! Here is part 1, 2, and 3 of the behind if you are interested! https://youtu.be/PFyzuJw1xRo?si=nmK7VCzjn7NSYEQe https://youtu.be/BQQUZU8s0zk?si=U0zwo5p3jfhKtJeV https://youtu.be/yZEtKGR98KU?si=f0VztjYViEAtm_Fa Also the intro film for GGUM https://youtu.be/QbFDTgp-UII?si=AMruVUXywo5mWXrQ

I am interested in the behinds! Thank you for the recommendations and links. I didn't have these on my list yet.

To help you with the pronunciation of Yeonjun's name: Imagine the name John and exchange the J sound with a y, then add the jun/joon Basically whenever you see the combination of 'eo' in Korean, it is said similar to 'oh' in English other examples are bEOmgyu, sEOkjin, hosEOk, sEOngwha, yEOsang, jEOnghan

Also saw a lot of people explaining to American for Yeonjun like Yawn-jun But yeah "eo" sound (어) I would say is more like "uh" like the confuse sound, uh? Really is between "oh" and "uh" I think but I'm not a native English speaker so I don't know if it's 100% accurate but it helped me when I first learned "eo/어"

Thank you. This is going to take some practice, but I can get it in my head. I'm already used to it for others. I have a hangup on Yeonjun for some reason. I don't know if it's because I sea Yeon and thing neon.

You'll get there! As someone who learned several foreign languages, I find that it really helps when you actively listen to how people are speaking, even when you watch them with subtitles. You get a gist of how certain sounds are pronounced!
