I'll be reacting to the full episodes once I've watched all the zero episode material!

I have watched Kingdom before, but I havent actually watched most of these beginning clips! So this is interesting for me. Man, the victory song mama stage is legendary though

I think you can find the full subbed episodes on either Viki or Kshow123.net (There may be more I’m not aware of!) but I think that’s what other reactors used when they watched the show, that’s if you want to watch the entire thing 😂

K-pop Auntie

I do! I just found that site yesterday. I'm going to start watching the full episodes as soon as all the introductions are done.

Cool! It’s a fun show and it’ll introduce you to a lot of interesting new groups too! I’m excited to watch you react to it! (Also the ZZZ is a reference to SKZ, ATZ and TBZ ☺️)

If I may offer some relevant quick notes about the competing groups? There were 3 veteran groups and 3 young ones. The Boyz debuted in Dec 17, they're very dancey, and their main dancer, Juyeon, the beautiful boy from the performance film, was the Artist of the Month in September https://youtu.be/ePAi-0qKEio .They're young and cute and there's a lot of them ;)

Stray Kinds you know, they debuted in March 2018. Ateez debuted at the very end of October 2018, so when they started Kingdom they were actually about 2.5 years old, not 4. They barely had their third anniversary 6 weeks ago. The performance film dancer is San, with pink hair because 4 of them were at the same time filming Imitation; they were also promoting their then-new album and the title track Fireworks (I'm the One) at the same time, I don't know if they even had time to sleep.

From the vet line, BtoB (Born to Beat) are the oldest, they debuted in 2012. They are vocal kings, and they were also kings of making sure kids won't have a mental breakdown on Kingdom - seriously, they single handedly saved everyone's mental health, and I'm not joking in the slightest. They're still friends with them too, it's so cool to see. That bald guy, Peniel, is 28 and is from Chicago. The group consists of 6 guys now, two of them came back from military last week. You'll love them, everyone loves them, they're the best.

iKon debuted in 2016 under YG, they're the hip-hopy ones. They have one of the best rappers in kpop, Bobby, and they're generally very chill. Fun fact - they're a bunch of horrible introverts and have barely any friends in the industry, so they were super happy for the co-op stages :)

And last but not least, SF9, debuted in Oct 2016, they're known for being very tall and very handsome, and they're generally more famous as actors, at least some of them. Two of them were actually playing in the same drama as Ateez at the time - they were in the same fictional group as Jongho. The dancer from the performance film is Taeyang, 24 yo. Once you get to the episode with the collab stages, please, please make sure to watch these :D https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqPZuKDGfpKc74dzwLGZ4mTYhmoGb512V

I'm going to have to get better with centimeters and kilograms, but I do at least know that 180 is right about six foot. Not too shabby. I'll make note of the linked videos for when I closer to episode 7. Thank you.

K-pop Auntie

Thanks for all the info! I'm looking forward to getting to know a bit more about the other groups.

Seraylin

I'm so excited to watch this show again with you!

Decided on Kingdom, especially when I saw the notification today for the latest video. I actually watched the series only a few weeks ago myself. Had seen Skz's performances and a few clips here and there, but not everything. And like you, when I started watching I didn't know most of the other groups. Even Ateez I only knew a bit about and I'd heard of BtoB but didn't know much. Anyway I have to say that BtoB stole my heart throughout this show. Because of their attitude, wit, care for the others, their incredible "coolness" and for being so talented. Yeah, they really did steal my heart. Anyway...looking forward to watching this all again, this time through your reactions. It'll be amazing I already know. Oh the Latin phrase...that's actually a Korean saying translated to Latin and means something like "who wants to wear the crown must bear its weight" or something to that extend. Very fitting of course.

Yay. Didnt realised you reacted to Kingdom. Guess its time to rewatch it for the 45536373883th time

K-pop Auntie

LOL, so you're saying you've watched it a few times. I certainly didn't make short reactions on these ones.
