I really love that with SKZ we do get so much of the behind the scenes (of course i always want to see more, but this is much more than most other groups are able to share). I think one of the things i really loved about this series is not only seeing their creative process, but seeing how much they truly are fans of each other. You can see in the way that they interact how much they each love everyone elses voice and style. I think SKZ are one of the best groups of friends in being able to accept and celebrate their differences and that helps produce a group with sound that is amazingly diverse that many people can relate to. Because it starts with acceptance of difference right at the core.

I think a big part of how much behind the scenes content we get is just how involved the guys are with production. I get that many groups these days have at least one member who is involved, but to have a genuinely self-produced group from day one (as opposed to more and more involved over time) is exceptional. And it's not just lyrics. We get to see a lot because there is so much to see.

Oh my gosh, when I found out you had no idea that this was the series in which they made their unit songs....wow. That made it even more wonderful to watch this. It's actually one of my favourite Skz series. I love watching the creative process. And this is more than little snippets. Brilliant stuff. And awe inspiring. Because even if I know it's edited...they do it so easily. Organically. Brilliance at work. I couldn't agree more with you on the whole early years thing. Yes, to them now, early years are the debut year probably. But like you, I think this will still be their early years. Because I honestly believe Stray Kids are really going to get very very big. And deservedly so. LOLOL yeah, I.N. saying he's never been the object of unrequited love....goodness boy....there are multitudes of Stay who would disagree. Hmm on the vocals: I had a few thoughts listening to your comments. One if that good vocalists continue to take lessons. Even big opera singers still take lessons. It's important. For maintenance. And even for growth. And part of the whole company training would have been vocal lessons. It's not just Seungmin and I.N. who are taking lessons at the moment. What I do think is that they continue to say that Seungmin is the most diligent about taking them and practicing for them at home and the company. He focuses on that. And the other vocal - thought: you mentioned that it was interesting that I.N. and Seungmin where singing in different registers for the most part. But that makes perfect sense when you've got vocalists in a group. Technically, with that many guys, you'd want at least a tenor and a baritone. Normally you'd also want a bass as well. From a few things I've heard and read, it seems in Kpop most groups don't know what to do with the lower voices. Chan had different ideas when he got Felix involved. And Skz make incredibly good use of Felix' voice. And Felix is technically not a bass, but a low baritone. Anyway...you need the different registers for harmonies. They make the sound fuller and more interesting. And Skz does it beautifully. One more thing: I wasn't convinced they were actually outside. They may have been. In other videos where they had a camp site it was perfectly clear they were actually in a studio. Here, it was mostly because the sound didn't sound like it was outside. ANd hehehehe you clappig like Skz do...yeah...I catch myself doing it as well sometimes. LOL

Thank you for all the great input on the voices. I love learning in the comments, and I still have so much to learn about vocals and musical arrangement, even when it just comes to what is called what. There's a lot to learn.

In a way it's not important. As a listener you like what you hear. I recently learned a lot about what makes a track interesting and different...why some things in a track support what's going on. It was so much information and it was mind-blowing to me. It made me appreciate Skz tracks (or rather Chan's tracks) even more, but it also made me realise that I don't have to know all the technique behind it in order to appreciate it. It did help me understand why I like their music so much. Why I was drawn to it and thought it was so different from what I knew. But I've known from the very first song I heard that this was special. Anyway, glad you enjoy hearing about the vocal stuff (not to mention the long comments).
