You missed the song! It's in a separate video. I'd love to see your reaction to it. It wouldn't be a bad add-on to Hongjoong's Lee Mujin episode if you haven't reacted to that yet. He did indeed work very hard to fill Jongho's shoes. https://youtu.be/spM5XtAg_OY

Well shoot. I'm uploading Lee Mujin right now. I am adding this to my ATEEZ React Later playlist, though. Thank you!

In England, first period usually starts at 9am so you have to be in school by 8:30 for registration! It’s interesting that schools around the world start at such different times!

I was curious enough that I went and looked up my old high school's start time. 7:40am, so yeah, between getting there early enough to get in the front doors, get to your locker, say hi to your friends, and get to class... Kids having to wake up around 6am just so they can shower, eat, and get to school wasn't unheard of.

I've never seen it explained how Seonghwa fractured his rib, but we've all seen video of him performing with it. (tour, multiple KCONs, Wave/Illusion promotions) When I found out he was hurt for those performances, I was shocked. I hadn't idea he was in pain. I bruised ribs in 3rd grade, (falling from the bed area in a camper) and even breathing while sitting still was incredibly painful! I have no idea how he did it. Here is a little tiktok edit about it. The clips they use are from KCON Japan and LA in 2019 https://www.tiktok.com/@mountain_011/video/7204746502319656198 There's video of when Yeosang hurt his finger. It's not graphic. When they slide on the ground here, you can see him notice his hand. At the end when they clap really hard, his hits his arm instead. https://youtu.be/TNEKfiNxVI8?t=141 There is a LOT of extra tension between the K fans and the I fans right now. I will attempt to tread softly, although I admit I have a hard time seeing both sides. From what I see, (not all) Ktiny aren't so much unhappy that they aren't more popular in Korea as the fact that ATEEZ perform elsewhere at all. An example is a while ago after video of the guys being swarmed at the airport and camera phones shoved in their faces, Itiny asked them to not do that, and someone answered the solution was for them to not leave the country. Many of them don't think they get enough of their attention. The guys are trying it their way this promo though, more than ever. After events fans get to attend for free (mushows, ISAC, etc) they are then given gifts, which are becoming increasingly elaborate, as well as informal fanmeets with personal interactions. We still can't convince most of them to stream on the K music platform where we can get better digitals for mushows, though. In their first week Bouncy won The Show, Show Champion and Music Bank. We weren't nominated for MCountdown (we were 3rd. not enough digitals) KQ didn't form to debut idols. It's beginnings are when Block B sued to get out of their old contract but had nowhere else to go, they met the now CEO and they decided to form Seven Seasons just for them. Then he formed KQ and SS was it's subsidiary and added a production arm as well. That's where Eden is, and they had a couple potential soloist (like Eden). Hongjoong was a fan of Block B and that's why he wanted to go to KQ even though they had no program for him. He really wanted to write and produce. It's only because of Hongjoong that they decided to make an idol group. I don't know what Hongjoong means about not talking about stuff before. The only thing I had't heard before was about the Chinese fried rice and Mingi's pretty window friend. This interview was a lot of fun! It's fun to see them giving shit to someone and having a laugh.

The KStarNextDoor interviews I've seen are always fun. Thank you for the clips. Crazy how little Seonghwa was letting the pain show. Fractured ribs are no joke. It's too bad there has to be tensions between fans. To a certain extent, I do understand K fans. I can imagine the pride that Korea has developed in the last decade about how the world is paying so much attention to the art that is coming out of a relatively small country.

I chalk it up to not being able to understand a culture where fans of entertainers actually don't allow them to date. Don't have a personal life, don't perform for other fans... only me. It blows my mind that they give into it. BTW ATEEZ attended another wedding of a co-worker. This time someone from BBTrippin. Everyone around them gets to have a life and get married, while they get to share apartments with their managers and can't even get a cat. UGH. Sad now.

To a certain extent, they knew what they were getting into. But, I'm also fairly sure that the reality of the decision to enter the idol lifestyle has absolutely no way of striking home until they're in the middle of it. They find themselves in a Catch 22 situation at that point. Hopefully, there's a shift in the culture in coming years that allow the guys to have at least a little more of a private life that fans all around the world respect them having privacy for.
